Transfer from Surfside to El Gran Combo at Watsco Center

Our private hourly chauffeur takes your group from Surfside to El Gran Combo at Watsco Center on Friday, November 27, 2026, in a Black SUV XL or a larger vehicle, with a 5-hour minimum and a flat rate from $100 per hour, locked at booking. Your bilingual driver collects you at any address in Surfside and stays with the group from dinner to the last song and the ride home.

How Much Does a Private Chauffeur From Surfside Cost on Concert Night? 📋

Pricing is set per vehicle and per hour, and every booking covers at least five hours. Pick the tier that fits your group:

  • Up to 5 passengers — Black SUV XL: $100/hour
  • 6 to 9 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $120/hour
  • 10 to 14 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $140/hour
  • Platinum SUV, 1 to 5 passengers: $140/hour

The rate is charged for the vehicle, not for each passenger. A full Sprinter of cousins, coworkers, or friends from the dance studio pays one hourly figure and splits it however the group likes. Choose a tier by headcount first and then by style. The Black SUV XL suits most couples and small families. The Platinum SUV gives you a more polished cabin for an anniversary or a birthday on concert night. Your hours run from the Surfside pickup to the final drop-off back home, so dinner, the drive south, the concert, and the ride back all fit in one booking. The distance across the bay doesn’t change the hourly figure. On a night like this, the only possible add-on is the evening surcharge, which has its own section further down.

What’s the Best Way to Get From Surfside to Watsco Center? 🏟️

On concert night, the simplest way to get from Surfside to the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables is a private chauffeur booked by the hour.

Surfside sits on the barrier island just north of Miami Beach, and the arena is on the mainland in Coral Gables. The trip crosses Biscayne Bay and cuts through the middle of Miami-Dade. This show falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, so holiday-weekend traffic will be on the road while salsa fans from all over South Florida head to the same campus. If you drive yourselves, someone has to stay sober, someone has to find a parking spot on a busy campus, and a group spread across two or three cars rarely arrives together. With one vehicle and one chauffeur, everyone rides in together, walks in together, and goes home together. You don’t watch the clock, check a map, or argue over who drives. The person at the wheel knows the roads and the campus approaches. Your group gets to relax, play some classic salsa on the way down, and get ready for a night of dancing.

Which Roads Does the Chauffeur Take From Surfside to Coral Gables?

Most trips head south on Collins Avenue, cross the bay on the Julia Tuttle Causeway, and then take I-95 and US-1 into Coral Gables.

If the Julia Tuttle backs up, the driver may cross on the John F. Kennedy Causeway at 71st Street instead. Another option is to head west on the Dolphin Expressway and come down Le Jeune Road through Coral Gables. Your chauffeur checks live traffic before leaving Surfside and takes whichever route is moving best that evening.

How Long Should You Allow for the Drive on a Concert Night?

Allow much more time than the same drive takes on a quiet weekday. On a holiday-weekend Friday evening, every route off the beach is typically slower.

The causeways, I-95, and the roads into campus all get busier as the 7:00 PM start gets closer. A generous cushion is the easiest way to reach your seats relaxed instead of rushed, and your chauffeur will help you plan it when you book.

Who Goes to See El Gran Combo, and Why Book a Car for It? 🎤

El Gran Combo draws crowds of several generations who come to dance, sing every chorus, and celebrate together.

Puerto Rico’s legendary salsa orchestra has played big-band classics for decades. Its concerts feel more like a family reunion than a typical arena show. Grandparents who first heard these songs on the radio sit next to grandchildren who learned the steps at weddings. Dance-club regulars dress up and hit the aisles, and longtime fans travel across South Florida to hear the horn section live. Details for the night are on the official El Gran Combo event page. A night like this rarely ends at the final song. People linger, take photos, and talk about their favorite numbers on the way out. A chauffeur fits that rhythm: no one rushes back to a parking garage, no one keeps track of drinks to stay fit to drive, and older relatives get a comfortable seat and a door-to-door ride instead of a long walk across campus. The car makes the outing an easy celebration for everyone, whatever their age.

Why Does the Friday After Thanksgiving Make This a Bigger Night?

The concert falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving, when relatives are already in town and whole families plan one big outing together.

That usually means bigger groups, more visiting family staying in Surfside and Bal Harbour, and heavier holiday traffic across the county. A single Sprinter keeps a large family together in one vehicle instead of a line of cars trying to stay together through traffic.

Where Does the Driver Pick You Up in Surfside? 🏝️

Your chauffeur picks you up at any address in Surfside, and you agree on the exact spot when you book.

Hotel guests usually meet the driver at the front entrance or lobby drive, whether they’re staying at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, or one of the hotels just north in Bal Harbour. Residents and visiting families in the oceanfront condo towers along Collins Avenue can be collected at their building’s front drive, where the doormen are used to cars waiting. If you’re in a house on the quieter residential streets west of Harding Avenue, the car can pull up right outside. Send the address and any building details over WhatsApp when you reserve, such as which side entrance to use or where cars are allowed to stop. On the day, you can message your driver directly, so there’s no guessing at the curb. Everyone steps out dressed for the show, climbs in, and the night starts right there in Surfside instead of in a parking lot somewhere on the mainland.

Can the Driver Collect Guests From Two Surfside Addresses?

Yes. You set the stops, so the chauffeur can pick up part of the group at a Collins Avenue condo and the rest at a house a few blocks away before heading south.

List every pickup point when you book on WhatsApp, and leave a little extra time in the plan for each stop, since your booked hours start at the first pickup.

When Should Your Group Leave Surfside for the 7:00 PM Show? 🎆

Leave Surfside early enough to reach Coral Gables comfortably before the 7:00 PM start, not just in time for it.

If you’re going straight from Surfside to the show, a late-afternoon departure is the safe call on the Friday after Thanksgiving. If you want dinner first, start earlier and let the meal set the pace. Arriving with time to spare means you can find your seats, pick up merch, and settle in before the orchestra’s first song. Plan the pickup time around the whole night instead of only the drive. The booked hours cover the ride south, the concert, and the trip home, so it makes sense to begin your block when the evening actually begins for your group. Your chauffeur will suggest a start time when you book, based on how many pickups you have and whether a dinner stop is part of the plan. A relaxed arrival sets the tone for the evening: no one sprints through campus, no one misses the opening song, and the whole group walks in together, ready to dance.

Which Drop-Off Point Does the Chauffeur Use at Watsco Center?

Your chauffeur drops the group as close to the entrance as campus access allows that night and follows directions from university and venue staff.

You step out together, skip the search for parking, and walk straight toward the doors. The driver tells you on WhatsApp exactly where the car will be when the show ends, so the pickup point is settled before you go inside.

Can the Driver Wait During the Show and Drive Everyone Home?

Yes. The same chauffeur stays with you through the concert and waits for the group to come out.

After the final encore, message the driver on WhatsApp, walk to the agreed pickup point near the arena, and ride back to Surfside together. Nobody refreshes a ride app, nobody gets left behind at the curb, and the car is the same one you arrived in.

Can You Combine Dinner in Surfside and the Concert in One Booking? 🥂

Yes. Dinner, the drive south, the concert, and the ride home all fit in one hourly booking with the same driver.

Many Surfside groups start the evening close to home. Harding Avenue, the town’s small main street, has relaxed neighborhood restaurants and cafés where a family can sit down without crossing a bridge. For a dressier start, the dining rooms at The Surf Club give a special night an oceanfront opening. Bal Harbour Shops, just north of town, is another favorite for an upscale meal and a short stroll before the car rolls south. Some groups prefer to eat closer to the show and save the drive for first. Coral Gables has Miracle Mile and Giralda Plaza, a pedestrian street lined with restaurants, a short hop from campus. Either way, the chauffeur waits outside while you eat, then takes everyone on to the concert. Book your own table directly with the restaurant. We provide the car and the driver, and your chauffeur builds the dinner stop into the route so the timing works.

How Is the Hourly Booking Paid? 📋

Payment is simple, and the full fare is paid at booking:

  • Accepted methods: Pay by card or Apple Pay through the secure checkout on the site, or through a Stripe payment link we send over WhatsApp.
  • Payment: The full fare, paid at booking, reserves your date.
  • Hours: The 5-hour minimum is where a booking starts, not a cap. Every hour you keep the car after that block is simply added at the same flat per-hour rate, with no new fare to work out, and you settle it after the night ends.

What Does the Hourly Rate Include on Concert Night? 🚙

Fuel, tolls, and parking are all built into the hourly rate, so the drive south carries no extra road costs.

The cabin has onboard WiFi through a mobile hotspot, which is handy for sharing photos from dinner or checking seat numbers on the way to Coral Gables. If anyone needs a swift restroom, snack, or stretch break mid-booking, just ask the driver. One brief comfort stop like that doesn’t change the rate. There’s room for what concertgoers usually bring, like signs, a flag, or a bag of merch for the ride home. If you plan to bring something big, tell us in advance. Beyond the hours themselves, the only possible extra on this booking is the evening surcharge in the section below, plus any time you decide to keep the car longer. Everything else is in the hourly figure from the moment the driver pulls up in Surfside.

How Does a Chauffeur Booked by the Hour Work for an Event? 🕴️

You reserve one vehicle and one driver for a block of hours, and both stay with your group until you’re home.

Start by choosing the vehicle that fits your headcount. Then send your group size, a rough start time, and the stops you want over WhatsApp. Bookings begin at five hours, which comfortably covers a drive across the county, a full concert, and the return trip. Our drivers pick up at any Miami address, whether that’s a hotel, a home, Miami International Airport, or a PortMiami cruise terminal for a relative arriving by ship that day and heading straight to the show. The pickup spot is agreed when you book. After that, the plan is yours. Add a stop for flowers, swing by a cousin’s place, or linger over dessert. The driver adjusts as you go, and the same car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole block.

What If the Concert Runs Late and We Want the Car Longer?

Just keep it. Every additional hour after the five-hour block is added at the same per-hour rate for your vehicle.

There’s no renegotiated fare and nothing to pay on the spot. The extra hours are settled after the day, with the driver or over WhatsApp. A late-night bite after the show or a detour to drop a relative in Brickell just becomes another hour on the bill.

Why Choose a Private Bilingual Chauffeur for the Ride to the Show? 🍾

A private chauffeur gives your group a premium service built around your night.

The vehicle is reserved for your group alone, so you never share it with strangers, and the cabin is clean and cool when you climb back in after hours of dancing. Your driver speaks English and Spanish, so grandparents, out-of-town relatives, and friends can all talk to the person behind the wheel easily. The flat hourly rate is locked at booking, with no surge, even on a holiday-weekend Friday when demand across Miami spikes. One dedicated chauffeur handles the whole evening, from the Surfside pickup through dinner and the concert to the last drop-off. That means one familiar face and one car to look for when the crowd spills out. You have direct WhatsApp contact with the driver instead of a call center, so changes happen in seconds. It’s a better experience from start to finish: calmer, more personal, and planned around the way your group wants to celebrate.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group for El Gran Combo? 🚐

Every tier is a private, chauffeured vehicle, and the right one depends on how many people are riding:

  • Black SUV XL: up to 5 passengers, the usual choice for a couple, a few friends, or a small family.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: 6 to 9 passengers, roomy enough for an extended family or a dance-club group.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: 10 to 14 passengers, so a large holiday gathering stays together in one vehicle.
  • Platinum SUV: 1 to 5 passengers, the most polished cabin for an anniversary or milestone birthday. Reference Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition

Both SUVs give a smaller group a quiet, comfortable ride across the bay. The Sprinters let everyone face each other, talk, and get excited for the show together. If your headcount changes after you book, tell us on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm whether a different tier makes more sense.

Which Option Works for a Big Family Over Thanksgiving Weekend?

The larger Sprinter is the natural choice when the whole family is in town for the holiday and everyone wants to go to the concert together.

Instead of splitting into several cars that lose each other in traffic, the family boards once in Surfside, sits together in the arena, and rides home as one group.

Is There a Night Surcharge for the Ride Home After 6:00 PM? 🎆

Rides during daytime hours, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, carry no surcharge. Trips outside those hours carry an evening surcharge that depends on the vehicle:

  • SUV (1-5 passengers): +$50 USD surcharge for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Van (6-14 passengers): +10% surcharge over the hourly total for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

The SUV line is a single amount per trip, and the van line is a percentage of the trip value. Both appear above and are confirmed when you reserve, so the final total holds no surprises. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking.

Can I Book a Private Shuttle From Surfside to Watsco Center? 🚐

Yes. Our private Mercedes-Benz Sprinter works as your group’s own shuttle, reserved for you alone.

Plenty of people search for a “shuttle” to a concert, but what most groups actually want is a ride that leaves when they’re ready and waits for them afterward. A private van does both. There are no fixed departure times, no strangers on board, and no stops at other people’s hotels. The van comes to your Surfside address, follows your plan for the evening, and brings you home when the night is over. Unlike a scheduled bus, it adapts to your pace. If dinner runs long or someone forgets their tickets upstairs, the driver simply waits. For smaller groups, the Black SUV XL and Platinum SUV give the same private, by-the-hour service in a more compact vehicle. Whichever you choose, the vehicle and the chauffeur are yours alone for every hour you book.

Can We Bring a Pet Along on Concert Night?

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice.

Which Areas Does the Hourly Chauffeur Cover Beyond Surfside?

The hourly service stays around Miami as a local, on-call service. It covers Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, and the area around Miami International Airport, plus nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. We don’t take this hourly service out to farther destinations such as Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.

What Happens If We Book Within 24 Hours of the Show?

If your concert-night booking is within the next 24 hours, your date and time are locked in and held for you. A driver and vehicle are already set aside, so on such short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund, and the booking goes ahead as agreed. You can still add hours on the day.

Booking a Chauffeur for the Day vs. Stacking App Rides

Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.

By the hour with us App rides (Uber / Lyft)
One flat hourly rate, locked before you start A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak
The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day A different car and a stranger at every pickup
Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop
A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur Whoever happens to accept the ping

Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

Ready to Reserve Your Chauffeur for El Gran Combo? 🎊

Message us on WhatsApp with your group size, a rough pickup time in Surfside, and any dinner stop you have in mind, and we’ll check availability for Friday, November 27.

Holiday weekends fill up fast, particularly for the larger Sprinter, so families planning a big outing should reach out early. When you write, include each Surfside pickup address and whether you’d like to eat near home or closer to Coral Gables. Your chauffeur will suggest a departure time that gets everyone to their seats relaxed. Paying the full fare at booking confirms your date, and from then on you have a dedicated vehicle and a bilingual driver for the night. When the last song ends, the same car takes you back to Surfside.

No. We only work with private transfers. The vehicle is reserved exclusively for you and your party, with no shared seating.

✈️ What happens if my flight is early, delayed, or canceled?

No problem. We track your flight in real time and adjust the pickup time when needed, at no extra charge.

🔁 And if my flight arrives early, is delayed, or canceled?

Send us the updated information as soon as possible, and we’ll adjust your booking while monitoring the new flight status.

📍 Do you offer meet-and-greet at the airport?

We primarily work with curbside pickup. Just send a message with your exit gate and the driver will arrive in a few minutes — usually faster than the traditional sign-holding service.

If you prefer the driver to wait inside the terminal with a sign bearing your name, add the Meet & Greet for US$ 40 when you book — available for airport pickups only.

🚘 How will I recognize my pickup driver?

The day before your trip, we’ll send you a message with the driver’s name, vehicle model, and license plate, along with detailed instructions for curbside pickup.

📞 What do I do if I can't reach my driver?

Don’t worry. We’ll send you a message as soon as your flight lands. If we don’t receive a quick reply, the driver will automatically head to the international arrivals hall. Wait there and we’ll find you.

⏱ How long does the driver wait after my arrival?

For domestic flights, we offer up to 60 minutes of wait time after arrival.

For international flights, the courtesy time is up to 120 minutes.

For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace period.

For port pickups, we wait up to 60 minutes past the agreed time.

⏳ What happens when a passenger takes more than two hours to leave the airport?

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

👜 Does the driver help with luggage?

Yes. Our drivers help load and unload your bags.

📦 Do you accept extra or oversized baggage?

The standard allowance includes one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

Traveling with larger or additional items — extra suitcases, musical instruments, mobility equipment, or strollers? Contact us in advance so we can arrange the necessary space. An additional fee may apply.

🐾 Can I bring my dog or cat in the vehicle?

We’re sorry — pets are not accepted on any of our services. Certified service animals are welcome: please tell us in advance and we’ll assign a van for the ride.

🥤 Can I eat or drink during the ride?

We ask that you don’t eat during the trip. Only water in sealed bottles is allowed on board.

🚧 Can we make a quick stop during the ride?

With by-the-hour service, stops are included: the vehicle is yours for the hours you book.

🕒 Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Yes. The pickup time and other details (an extra passenger) can be changed until 24 hours before the ride, depending on availability. Within 24 hours of the ride there are no changes and no refunds — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what we can do. The travel date itself is fixed once booked.

💲 Are there additional charges beyond the quoted price?

No hidden fees: the quoted price includes the driver, fuel and tolls. Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.

❌ What is your cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.

Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
