Transfer from Coconut Grove to El Gran Combo at Watsco Center

This is a private hourly chauffeur from Coconut Grove to El Gran Combo at Watsco Center on Friday, November 27, 2026, in a Black SUV XL or larger vehicle at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. Your driver collects you anywhere in Coconut Grove, handles the cross-town ride into Coral Gables, stays close through the 7:00 PM show, and brings everyone home at a rate locked when you book.

How Much Does a Private Chauffeur From Coconut Grove Cost Per Hour? 📋

Each vehicle has one flat hourly rate, and every concert booking starts with a 5-hour minimum that covers the ride out, the show, and the trip home.

  • Up to 5 passengers — Black SUV XL: $100/hour
  • 6 to 9 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $120/hour
  • 10 to 14 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $140/hour
  • Platinum SUV, 1 to 5 passengers: $140/hour

That block fits a concert night well: an early-evening pickup in the Grove, an unhurried dinner, the drive into Coral Gables, the full show, and the ride back. Your total is your vehicle’s hourly rate times the hours you keep it. The time the car spends waiting while the band plays is part of that same block, not a separate line on the bill. Many groups split one Sprinter between two or three families, which keeps the whole party in one vehicle on a busy holiday-weekend night. The only add-on that can apply is the surcharge for hours outside the daytime window, which is explained further down this page.

What’s Included in the Hourly Rate for a Concert Night? 🥂

Fuel, tolls, and parking are already built into every hour you book.

You won’t need to hunt for a campus parking spot in Coral Gables, and you won’t have to work out tolls on the way home. If someone needs a quick restroom break, a snack, or a stretch between Coconut Grove and the venue, one brief comfort stop is easy to arrange. Just ask your driver, and the flat rate stays the same. If you plan to bring something large, such as a big banner for the stage or a garment bag with a dressy outfit, tell us in advance so there’s room for it. The one charge that can be added on top is the night surcharge for hours outside the daytime window. It has its own section below so you can see the exact terms before you book. There are no other fees and no extra line items for an evening of salsa.

Why Choose a Private Chauffeur From Coconut Grove Over Driving Yourself? 🕴️

A private chauffeur turns a holiday-weekend concert into a premium service, from pickup to your front door.

The vehicle is reserved for your group alone. You won’t share it with strangers or ride on someone else’s schedule. Your rate is a flat hourly figure locked in when you confirm, so a packed arena or heavy Friday traffic can never push the price up with surge pricing. One bilingual chauffeur stays with you for the entire block, so you see the same friendly face at pickup, at the arena, and at your door afterward. Nobody in the party has to skip the celebration to drive, circle campus streets looking for a space, or find the car again in the dark after the encore. You reach your driver directly on WhatsApp, so a later dinner reservation or an extra cousin joining takes one quick message. It’s a better experience for a night built around dancing, singing every chorus, and celebrating with the people you came with.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group for the Concert? 🚐

Four private vehicle tiers cover everything from a couple’s date night to a large family outing.

  • Black SUV XL: up to 5 passengers, a polished fit for couples, close friends, or a small family heading to the show.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: 6 to 9 passengers, so a mid-size group can ride, talk, and warm up for the music together.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: 10 to 14 passengers, enough for a large group of relatives or a dance-class crew in a single vehicle.
  • Platinum SUV: 1 to 5 passengers, the upscale tier for an anniversary, a milestone birthday, or a dressed-up night. Reference Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition

Choose by head count first and by the feel of the evening second. A couple celebrating twenty years of dancing to these songs may want the Platinum SUV. A whole family table from Thanksgiving dinner usually fits best in one Sprinter, so nobody gets split into a second car.

Is There a Private Van From Coconut Grove for a Large Salsa Group?

Yes. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a private van reserved only for your party, and nobody else is picked up along the way. Book the larger Sprinter tier for a big group, and everyone boards together in the Grove, arrives together, and rides home together in the same seats they came in.

What Payment Methods Work for an Hourly Chauffeur? 🚙

You pay the full fare at booking, plus any extra hours you add on the night.

  • Accepted methods: card or Apple Pay through the secure checkout on the site, or a Stripe payment link we send you over WhatsApp.
  • Payment: The full fare, paid at booking, reserves your date.
  • Hours: Book the 5-hour minimum and keep the car as long as you like. Every hour after that block is added at the same flat per-hour rate, never renegotiated, and you settle it after the night ends.

What Happens If We Book Within 24 Hours of the Concert?

For a booking made within 24 hours of the ride, your date and time are locked in and held just for you, because a driver and vehicle are already set aside for your group. At that short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund, so the night runs exactly as agreed. You can still add more hours on the day.

What Kind of Night Is El Gran Combo’s November 27 Concert? 🎤

The Puerto Rican salsa orchestra El Gran Combo plays Coral Gables on Friday, November 27, 2026.

El Gran Combo has been nicknamed the University of Salsa for generations. It is a classic big-band orchestra with punchy brass, tight percussion, and singers trading verses on dance-floor standards that Miami families have played at weddings and backyard parties for years. Expect the aisles to fill with dancers, grandparents singing every word, and plenty of people dressed up for a real night out. The concert takes place at Watsco Center, the indoor arena on the University of Miami campus, with an announced 7:00 PM start. The El Gran Combo event page lists the official show details. Because the date falls the night after Thanksgiving, many guests come with relatives in town for the holiday. That’s a big reason groups want one vehicle, one driver, and no debate over who has to drive home.

Is the Concert a Good Outing for a Holiday-Weekend Family Group?

Yes. A salsa concert on the Friday after Thanksgiving is one of the easiest ways to bring several generations out together. Parents, cousins, and grandparents can share one private vehicle from Coconut Grove, arrive together, and dance through the same songs they grew up with, and nobody spends the evening worrying about the drive.

How Do You Get to Watsco Center From Coconut Grove on Concert Night? 🌆

Your chauffeur drives your group southwest from Coconut Grove into Coral Gables, right to the venue.

The trip is typically a short cross-town drive on an ordinary evening. On a holiday-weekend Friday, though, allow generous extra time, because concertgoers, shoppers, and dinner traffic all head for the same corridors at once. Your driver watches the roads as the evening builds and adjusts the departure from the Grove so your group isn’t rushing through the lobby. The ride itself is part of the night. Cue up a playlist of the band’s hits, pass around the plan for after the show, and let someone else handle the lane changes. Without a garage to find or a lot to leave, the hardest part of the trip is deciding which song you most want to hear live. Your chauffeur knows the campus approaches and the Coral Gables side streets, so a backup route is always ready if the main road slows.

Which Roads Does the Chauffeur Take From Coconut Grove?

Most rides follow South Dixie Highway (US-1) southwest toward the University of Miami campus. If US-1 backs up with event traffic, the driver can switch to Coral Gables streets such as LeJeune Road or Ponce de Leon Boulevard. You never need to pick the route; your chauffeur makes that call on the night.

Where Does the Driver Pick You Up in Coconut Grove? 🏝️

Your chauffeur meets you at any address in Coconut Grove that we agree on when you book.

Hotel guests usually start from the lobby. Mayfair House and Mr. C Coconut Grove are typical starting points for visitors in town for the holiday weekend. Locals are often collected at home: a house on one of the South Grove’s shady, tree-lined streets, a condo tower along Bayshore Drive, or a family residence off Main Highway. If your group spends the afternoon around CocoWalk or by the bayfront near Peacock Park, the driver can meet you there instead, so nobody has to go back to change locations. Groups gathering at several homes can schedule more than one pickup on the way out, and each stop simply becomes part of your block. Send the exact spot in your WhatsApp booking message, along with anything the driver should know, such as a building entrance or a lobby name. That way the first minutes of your evening start smoothly.

Can We Combine Dinner in Coconut Grove and the Show in One Booking? 🍸

Yes. Dinner, the concert, and the ride home all fit inside one hourly booking.

Coconut Grove is a natural place to eat before a salsa night. Greenstreet Cafe on Commodore Plaza has long been a sidewalk favorite for groups that like to linger. Glass & Vine, set inside Peacock Park, suits a relaxed early dinner under the trees. The CocoWalk area offers several options if your party can’t agree on one menu. If you’d rather eat closer to the arena, Miracle Mile in Coral Gables lines up restaurants just a short hop from campus. Your driver drops you at the restaurant, stays nearby while you eat, and pulls up when you’re ready to head to the show, and the rate stays the same throughout. We don’t reserve tables, so book your dinner directly. Then tell us the restaurant and the time, and we’ll build the evening around it.

Can the Driver Add an After-Show Stop in Little Havana?

Yes. Plenty of salsa fans aren’t ready to stop dancing when the band leaves the stage. Your chauffeur can take the group to Southwest Eighth Street in Little Havana, where Ball & Chain is known for live Latin music, and wait while you keep the night going before driving everyone home.

Where Will the Chauffeur Drop Your Group at Watsco Center? 🏟️

Your chauffeur drops you as close to the venue entrance as event-night access allows.

Watsco Center sits on the University of Miami campus, and on concert nights campus and event staff direct traffic around the arena. Your driver follows those patterns to the most convenient drop-off point. Then you step out with your tickets ready and head in together. Read the arena’s Watsco Center building policies before you go, especially on bag rules, so nothing has to be carried back to the car. Leaving the Grove early buys a calm arrival, a chance to find your seats, and time to watch the stage fill before the 7:00 PM start. Once you’re inside, your chauffeur moves the vehicle to a nearby spot, with parking already covered by your hourly rate, and stays reachable on WhatsApp for the whole concert. When the show ends, the same driver is ready to take your group home.

How Early Should You Leave Coconut Grove for El Gran Combo?

Plan a pickup well ahead of the 7:00 PM start, and allow even more time if dinner comes first. Holiday-weekend traffic, campus approaches, and arena entry lines all take time. Tell us when you’d like to be in your seats, and we’ll suggest a Grove pickup time that leaves room to spare.

Can the Driver Wait During the Show?

Yes. Waiting is part of how the hourly service works. Your chauffeur stays near the arena for the entire concert, keeps the vehicle ready, and doesn’t leave to take other rides. You don’t have to request a car or guess when one will arrive. Just message the driver as the encore winds down.

How Does the Ride Home Work After the Last Song?

Send your driver a WhatsApp message as you head out, then meet at the pickup point you agreed on before the show. While thousands of fans look for their cars, your group walks straight to a waiting vehicle. You can ride back to Coconut Grove, drop relatives at different homes, or go on to one more stop.

Which Facts Should You Know Before Booking a Concert Chauffeur? 🎊

  • Every booking keeps one dedicated vehicle and one driver for the whole block.
  • Your chauffeur speaks English and Spanish.
  • You set the stops and the pace, and the itinerary is never locked.
  • Onboard WiFi runs through a mobile hotspot during your booked hours.
  • The service runs every day, around the clock, for daytime or evening plans.
  • Every booking is arranged and confirmed directly over WhatsApp.

How Does Booking a Chauffeur by the Hour Work for Concert Night? 🏙️

Booking by the hour means one car and one driver are yours from the first pickup until you’re home.

Start with a WhatsApp message that includes your group size, a rough start time, and the stops on your wish list. We’ll match you with the right vehicle and confirm the plan. Your driver can pick you up at any Miami address: a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal (a cruise-day arrival can go straight to the event), Miami International Airport, or a home. We agree on the exact pickup spot when you book. From there, the evening follows your plan: dinner, the arena, a nightcap, or a detour to pick up a friend. The driver stays with you and waits while you’re inside each stop. Your booking covers five hours, and if the night runs long, every extra hour is added at the same per-hour rate, so you can keep the car as long as you require it.

Is There a Surcharge for the Late Ride Home After the Concert? 🎆

Daytime hours run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no surcharge. Any time outside that window carries the small surcharge below.

  • SUV (1-5 passengers): +$50 USD surcharge for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Van (6-14 passengers): +10% surcharge over the hourly total for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. It’s a single, predictable add-on. It doesn’t grow with traffic, the size of the crowd, or how long the band plays its encore. Your SUV booking shows the surcharge as one flat per-trip amount, and a Sprinter booking shows it as a share of the trip value, both confirmed in writing before you pay. Nothing else changes after dark: your driver, vehicle, rate, and freedom to add stops all stay exactly as booked. If you’d like to stretch the evening with dinner afterward or a stop in Little Havana, the surcharge terms stay the same. You see the full picture before the night begins.

Is There Private Transportation From Coconut Grove to El Gran Combo? 🎭

Yes. Our private hourly chauffeur service runs from Coconut Grove to the concert and back.

You aren’t buying a seat. You reserve a whole vehicle and a bilingual driver for your party, with pickup anywhere in the Grove. People searching for a concert van or a ride to the arena are usually looking for exactly this: one car or private van that takes the group there, waits, and brings everyone home. The questions below cover what concertgoers most often ask before they book, from the simplest way to arrive to how far the hourly service travels around Miami. Once you know your group size and roughly when you’d like to leave the Grove, you can confirm your booking in a single WhatsApp conversation. The rates are listed at the top of this page, so there are no surprises when you confirm. Most groups lock in their plan well before the holiday weekend.

What’s the Easiest Way to Reach the Concert Without Parking?

Booking a private chauffeur by the hour is the simplest option. You won’t search for a space, pay at a garage, or walk back to a car after the show. Your driver handles the route and the drop-off and is waiting afterward, so your whole group just steps in and out of one vehicle.

Does the Hourly Chauffeur Service Stay Around Miami?

Yes. This is a local, on-call service that stays around the city: Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, the area around Miami International Airport, and nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. Hourly bookings don’t go out to far destinations such as Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.

Can We Travel With a Pet in the Vehicle?

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice.

Booking a Chauffeur for the Day vs. Stacking App Rides

Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.

By the hour with us App rides (Uber / Lyft)
One flat hourly rate, locked before you start A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak
The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day A different car and a stranger at every pickup
Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop
A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur Whoever happens to accept the ping

Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

Uber, Uber Black, Lyft, and Lyft Lux are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by them. Comparison reflects publicly available pricing as of 2026.

Ready to Book Your Coconut Grove Chauffeur for El Gran Combo? 🍾

Send us a WhatsApp message to check availability and lock in your concert-night vehicle.

Tell us how many people are coming, where in Coconut Grove you’d like to be picked up, and whether dinner or an after-show stop is part of the plan. We’ll recommend the right vehicle, suggest a departure time that gets you to your seats with room to spare, and send a secure payment link. The Friday after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest nights of the season for family outings, and vehicles reserved for that evening go to whoever confirms first. Reaching out early gives your group the widest choice, from the Black SUV XL for a small party to the larger Sprinter for the whole family. Once you’re confirmed, you only need to get dressed, warm up your dancing shoes, and be ready when your chauffeur arrives in the Grove.

🔁 And if my flight arrives early, is delayed, or canceled?

Send us the updated information as soon as possible, and we’ll adjust your booking while monitoring the new flight status.

📍 Do you offer meet-and-greet at the airport?

We primarily work with curbside pickup. Just send a message with your exit gate and the driver will arrive in a few minutes — usually faster than the traditional sign-holding service.

If you prefer the driver to wait inside the terminal with a sign bearing your name, add the Meet & Greet for US$ 40 when you book — available for airport pickups only.

🚘 How will I recognize my pickup driver?

The day before your trip, we’ll send you a message with the driver’s name, vehicle model, and license plate, along with detailed instructions for curbside pickup.

📞 What do I do if I can't reach my driver?

Don’t worry. We’ll send you a message as soon as your flight lands. If we don’t receive a quick reply, the driver will automatically head to the international arrivals hall. Wait there and we’ll find you.

⏱ How long does the driver wait after my arrival?

For domestic flights, we offer up to 60 minutes of wait time after arrival.

For international flights, the courtesy time is up to 120 minutes.

For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace period.

For port pickups, we wait up to 60 minutes past the agreed time.

⏳ What happens when a passenger takes more than two hours to leave the airport?

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

👜 Does the driver help with luggage?

Yes. Our drivers help load and unload your bags.

📦 Do you accept extra or oversized baggage?

The standard allowance includes one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

Traveling with larger or additional items — extra suitcases, musical instruments, mobility equipment, or strollers? Contact us in advance so we can arrange the necessary space. An additional fee may apply.

🐾 Can I bring my dog or cat in the vehicle?

We’re sorry — pets are not accepted on any of our services. Certified service animals are welcome: please tell us in advance and we’ll assign a van for the ride.

🥤 Can I eat or drink during the ride?

We ask that you don’t eat during the trip. Only water in sealed bottles is allowed on board.

🚧 Can we make a quick stop during the ride?

With by-the-hour service, stops are included: the vehicle is yours for the hours you book.

🕒 Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Yes. The pickup time and other details (an extra passenger) can be changed until 24 hours before the ride, depending on availability. Within 24 hours of the ride there are no changes and no refunds — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what we can do. The travel date itself is fixed once booked.

💲 Are there additional charges beyond the quoted price?

No hidden fees: the quoted price includes the driver, fuel and tolls. Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.

❌ What is your cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.

Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
