A private hourly chauffeur from PortMiami takes your group to Buena Vista Social Club at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. The rate is locked when you book. One bilingual chauffeur picks you up anywhere in PortMiami, from the cruise terminal curb to a bayfront hotel lobby.
You pay per vehicle and per hour, and every booking has a five-hour minimum.
The price depends on the vehicle, not on how many people ride in it. A couple in the Black SUV XL pays one hourly rate for their own car, and so does a group of cousins who fill a Sprinter. Choose the vehicle that fits your party, multiply its rate by the hours you plan to keep it, and you know the cost of the evening before the show starts. The hours cover the whole outing on October 1: leaving the port, a dinner stop, the drive to the theater, the performance itself, and the trip home. You aren’t charged by distance, so a detour through Little Havana or a slow drive along the bayfront costs the same as going straight there.
The hourly rate includes fuel, tolls, parking, and all of your chauffeur’s time.
Parking matters most on a Broadway night downtown. Your group never circles a garage, pays at a kiosk, or walks back to a far-off lot after the final bow. The rate also covers every minute your chauffeur is working, including the time spent parked while you eat or watch the show, so waiting is never billed separately. Two extras can apply. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. Anything else, including a longer evening, is just more hours at your vehicle’s rate.
We have four private vehicle types for distinct group sizes, starting with the Black SUV XL.
Every vehicle is private and reserved only for your party. Many Cuban American families create this show an outing for several generations. A Sprinter lets grandparents, parents, and teenagers ride together, talk on the way, and step out at the theater as one group. The Platinum SUV is a good choice for an anniversary or a date night. If you’re bringing something large, such as a garment bag for changing before a late dinner, please tell us in advance.
You pay the full fare when you book, and everything is arranged over WhatsApp.
Buena Vista Social Club is a Broadway musical on national tour that has won Tony and Grammy awards.
The show plays a limited run in the Ziff Ballet Opera House, the largest hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center. There is a performance on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:30 PM, and the run opens the new Broadway in Miami season. The musical tells how the renowned Cuban album was made, the record that brought the island’s classic music to listeners around the world and made Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer, and Omara Portuondo household names. A live Afro-Cuban band plays on stage. The production has strong Miami ties: the book is by Marco Ramirez, a playwright who grew up in Hialeah, and the choreography is by Miami native Patricia Delgado. Anticipate a dressed-up crowd of Cuban American families of several generations, longtime fans of the album, and Broadway regulars, all heading to Biscayne Boulevard the same evening. You can find performance details on the Buena Vista Social Club event listing.
Tickets are sold through the Arsht box office, Broadway in Miami, and AXS. Prices vary by performance and seat, so check the current price range there. We don’t sell or hold tickets; we provide the private car and chauffeur. Once your seats are confirmed, send us your group size and pickup point, and we’ll plan the evening around the 7:30 PM start.
Yes, if it fits your schedule. During the run, the Arsht is hosting Rhythm & Roots, an Arsht Plus celebration of Cuban music and culture held alongside the musical. Because you book the chauffeur by the hour, your group can arrive early and enjoy it, and your hours cover the extra time. Check the Arsht’s calendar to see what is on that day.
Your chauffeur drives you from PortMiami directly to the theater and stays close by through the show.
The drive is commonly short. The port is right next to downtown, and the Arsht is a little north on Biscayne Boulevard. Show nights have their own traffic, though. On a Thursday evening, commuters are leaving the office towers of Brickell and Downtown Miami, diners are heading to Bayside Marketplace, and a full audience is arriving at the Ziff Ballet Opera House before 7:30 PM. Your chauffeur checks current traffic and chooses the route, so your group only needs to be ready at the agreed time. This is where a private car helps most: no waiting to enter a garage, no long walk in dress shoes, and nobody in your party has to be the designated driver. The questions below cover the pickup, the route, when to leave, where you’re dropped off, and the ride home.
Your chauffeur meets you at the spot agreed when you book. Usually that’s the passenger curb outside your cruise terminal on the day you leave the ship, or the lobby of a nearby bayfront hotel if you’ve already checked in. Before the day, we send you the terminal, a description of the vehicle, and the driver’s WhatsApp contact, so you can find your car without searching the pickup lanes.
Most trips use one of two routes. The first crosses the port bridge on Port Boulevard to Biscayne Boulevard, then heads north past Bayside Marketplace, Bayfront Park, and Museum Park to the theater. The second goes through the PortMiami Tunnel to the MacArthur Causeway and I-395, then exits near Biscayne Boulevard beside the Arsht. Your chauffeur takes whichever route is moving better that evening.
Plan to reach the theater well before the 7:30 PM start, so you have time to find your seats, get a drink, and look around the lobby. The drive is usually short, but allow extra time for Thursday evening traffic downtown and the crowd arriving before the show. If you’re having dinner first, your chauffeur will set the departure time around your reservation.
Your chauffeur drops you at the point closest to the Ziff Ballet Opera House entrance, as near the venue as access allows on show night. Everyone gets out together at the curb, and nobody has to walk from a parking garage. If traffic control changes the approach that evening, the driver moves to the nearest spot that works and walks you through the plan by WhatsApp.
Yes. Your chauffeur stays nearby with the vehicle for the whole performance, so you don’t need to request a ride or look for a car afterward. When the show ends, message the driver on WhatsApp. The car comes back to the agreed meeting point and takes your group home, back to the port area, or on to a late-night stop.
Bayside Marketplace, just across the water from PortMiami, is the easiest place for dinner before the show.
Its waterfront restaurants and bars look out over the boats on Biscayne Bay, and there is often live music on the promenade in the evening, a good start to a night of Cuban music. For a meal that matches the show, many groups go west to Little Havana instead. Versailles has served Cuban classics to generations of Miami families, and Ball & Chain keeps the neighborhood’s live-music tradition going. Brickell is a more modern choice, with rooftop bars and upscale restaurants near the bay. Wherever you choose, your chauffeur drops you at the door, keeps the car close while you eat, and drives you on to the theater, so you never have to rush from dinner to find parking before the show. We don’t book tables, but your driver is happy to suggest an order of stops that fits your timing.
Yes, and that’s the most natural way to use an hourly booking. Leave the port in the late afternoon, have dinner in Little Havana or at Bayside, and let the chauffeur take the group to the theater before the show starts. The same car handles every part of the trip, and your hours cover dinner, the drive, and the ride home as one continuous evening.
Yes. If your cruise ends that day, you can spend the whole day in Miami and finish at the show.
Your chauffeur meets the group at the terminal curb and can go to your hotel first, so everyone can check in and change for the theater. After that, you plan the afternoon. You might see the murals in Wynwood, walk along South Beach, or have a slow lunch in Coconut Grove under the banyan trees, and the same car waits after each stop. In the evening, the driver brings you back downtown for dinner and the performance, so you never spend time looking for a ride or a parking space. If your day ends with a flight instead of a hotel, the last stop can be Miami International Airport. When you book, send us your ship’s arrival details and a rough plan for the day. We’ll suggest a start time that leaves room for everything without rushing.
With a private chauffeur, a Broadway evening becomes one smooth, relaxed outing.
The vehicle is reserved only for your party and never shared. The flat hourly rate is locked when you book, with no surge pricing, so you pay exactly what you agreed to even on a hectic, sold-out Thursday downtown. One bilingual chauffeur stays with you from the first pickup to the last drop-off, so a grandmother who prefers Spanish and a teenager who prefers English can both talk effortlessly with the driver. You contact that driver directly on WhatsApp, with no dispatch line to call and no guessing which car is yours when the crowd pours onto the sidewalk after the show. Keeping the same car and driver all night is what makes this a premium service rather than just a ride. You have the same clean vehicle, a driver who already knows your plans, and your jackets stay safe in the car. For a night your family has been looking forward to, it’s a better experience.
You reserve one vehicle and one chauffeur for a set number of hours, and you plan the evening.
First, choose the vehicle that fits your group. Then send us your headcount, a rough start time, and the stops you have in mind over WhatsApp. The driver can pick you up at any Miami address: a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal (if your cruise ends that day, you can go straight into your plans for the event), Miami International Airport, or a home. We agree on the exact pickup spot when you book. After that, you decide the order of stops and the pace, and you can add or drop a stop during the night. The same chauffeur stays with you for the whole booking, including during the show. Every booking starts with a five-hour block, and each hour after that is added at your vehicle’s usual hourly rate. There’s no new fare to agree on, so keep the car as long as you need and pay for the extra time after the day ends.
There’s no surcharge from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Trips outside those hours add the amounts below.
The SUV surcharge is charged once per trip, not per hour. The Sprinter percentage is based on the trip value, so it grows with the length of a larger group’s evening. Knowing this ahead of time lets you budget the whole night before you pay. Any hours you add are charged at your vehicle’s usual rate.
Yes. We offer a private van or SUV reserved only for your group, never a shared service.
Many people search for a shuttle when what they really desire is one vehicle that takes everyone from the port to the theater and back, without a timetable. A private Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or SUV hired by the hour does exactly that. Nobody else gets on, there are no fixed departure times, and the route follows your plans, not a schedule. Your group rides together and can start talking about the show before you reach Biscayne Boulevard, and the car is ready for you again as soon as the final song ends. It’s the same private hourly service described on this page. The answers below cover common questions once your show is booked: how many hours to reserve, where we operate, bringing a pet, and booking at short notice.
Book enough time for the pickup, dinner, the drive, the full performance, and the ride home. Check the running time on the Arsht’s show page or your ticket, then count back from the 7:30 PM start to choose your pickup time. If the evening runs longer than planned, you just keep the car and add the extra hours.
The hourly service stays local. We cover Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, the area around Miami International Airport, and nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. We don’t run it to farther destinations such as Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach, so your chauffeur stays close by and available all evening.
Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice. If you send a quick message while you plan the evening, you’ll have the answer well before the pickup.
Once your time is agreed, the booking is locked in and reserved for you. For a ride booked within the next 24 hours, a driver and vehicle are already set aside for your group. At that short notice, we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund, and the booking goes ahead as agreed. You can still add more hours on the day.
Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.
| By the hour with us | App rides (Uber / Lyft) |
|---|---|
| One flat hourly rate, locked before you start | A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak |
| The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day | A different car and a stranger at every pickup |
| Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book | Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop |
| A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur | Whoever happens to accept the ping |
Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.
You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.
Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
