Our private hourly chauffeur drives you from PortMiami to Miami City Ballet at Adrienne Arsht Center on October 16, 2026, in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. One bilingual chauffeur and one dedicated car stay with you from any address in PortMiami, through the 7:30 PM curtain and the ride home. The rate is locked when you book, and there is no surge pricing.
Each tier is billed by the hour, and every booking covers at least five hours.
You pay for the vehicle, not per person. A couple in the Black SUV XL and a larger party in a Sprinter each pay one hourly figure for the whole car. That figure covers the whole evening you reserve: the pickup in PortMiami, an early dinner downtown or in Brickell, the short drive up Biscayne Boulevard, the hours of the performance, and the drive back afterward. Nothing on this list is a per-person ticket or a seat in someone else’s vehicle. Choose the tier that seats your party comfortably, and the rest of the evening is simply time on the clock.
Miami City Ballet opens its season on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
The program, American Rhythms, is the company’s first mixed-repertory program of the fall. It also opens the first season under new Artistic Director Gonzalo Garcia, which gives the night a real opening-night feel. George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante comes first, followed by a world premiere by former principal dancer Patricia Delgado. The evening closes with the company’s first staging of Jerome Robbins’ jazz-inflected N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz. Miami City Ballet is a resident company of the Adrienne Arsht Center, and the performance takes place in the Ziff Ballet Opera House, the center’s main hall on Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami. This is a professional performing-arts evening, not a recital, and the audience treats it that way: guests dress up, meet friends beforehand, and linger afterward. A chauffeur suits that kind of evening, because nobody in your party has to leave early to get the car.
The audience is mostly Miami’s arts patrons: longtime subscribers, dance lovers, couples celebrating an occasion, and visitors adding a night of culture to their Miami stay. Many arrive in small groups after having dinner together. A private SUV or Sprinter works well for that, because everyone arrives together, sits together, and leaves together without splitting across several cars.
Your chauffeur meets you at the exact PortMiami spot agreed when you book.
Most ballet-night pickups here start at a cruise terminal’s ground-transportation curb. Your driver sends a WhatsApp message with the vehicle’s location as you step outside. Other pickups start at any address in PortMiami: a port office on Dodge Island, a business meeting near the terminals, or a spot along Port Boulevard just before the bridge to downtown. Tell us which terminal your ship uses or which building you are leaving, and we confirm the exact meeting point before the day. The terminal curbs are busiest on mornings when ships are boarding or unloading, so an afternoon or early-evening start is usually calmer. If some of your group are staying at a hotel in Brickell or downtown, the driver can pick them up on the way, and you decide the order of pickups.
Yes. If your cruise arrives that day, you can go straight to the event. Your chauffeur meets you at the terminal curb. Your booked hours can include a hotel stop to freshen up and change, a late lunch in Little Havana or Brickell, and then the performance. When you book, share your ship’s arrival day and the time you’d like to start.
Bayside Marketplace, next to the Port Boulevard bridge, is the easiest place to meet before the show.
Its waterfront restaurants and open-air bars look across the channel at the cruise ships, so a group coming off a ship or out of a port meeting can sit down rapidly. For a dressier dinner, the region around Brickell City Centre has steakhouses, seafood restaurants, and Latin kitchens a short drive south. Groups who would rather eat close to the theater often pick Edgewater or Midtown, just north of the Arsht, which leaves only a brief drive to the entrance. Museum Park, the bayfront lawn between the port and the theater, is a nice stop for photos in your evening clothes before the light fades. Your chauffeur drives between whichever places you choose and waits at each one, so nobody has to locate parking in Brickell or feed a meter. The driver is happy to suggest a route, but you create the dinner reservations yourselves.
Yes. Dinner and the performance fit easily into one booking. Your chauffeur picks you up in PortMiami, takes you to dinner, waits while you eat, drives you to the theater, and brings everyone home afterward. If dinner runs long or you decide on a nightcap after the show, you can add hours on the spot.
Your chauffeur usually takes either the PortMiami Tunnel or the Port Boulevard bridge, then Biscayne Boulevard.
The tunnel route climbs onto the MacArthur Causeway and I-395, then exits onto Biscayne Boulevard right beside the theater. The bridge route runs north on Biscayne past Bayside Marketplace, Bayfront Park, and Museum Park. Either way it is usually a short downtown drive. On a Friday, though, the curtain comes near the end of rush hour, and a crowd arriving at the same time can slow the last few blocks, so permit extra time. Your driver picks the better route on the night based on live traffic while your group relaxes in the back. The theater sits right beside the I-395 ramps, so the drive back to PortMiami, Brickell, or Miami Beach after the show is just as direct. Departure timing, the drop-off, and waiting during the show are covered below.
Leave PortMiami with plenty of time before the 7:30 PM curtain, especially with Friday traffic downtown. If you’re having dinner first, plan the evening backward from showtime: dinner, the short drive, and then time to find your seats and look around the lobby. Once your stops are set, your chauffeur will suggest a departure time.
Your chauffeur drops you as close to the Ziff Ballet Opera House entrance as access allows, at whichever drop-off point is in use that evening. Everyone gets out together, dressed and on time, and the driver then parks nearby to wait. Before you go in, you’ll agree on where the car will pick you up after the show.
Yes. Waiting through the performance is part of the hourly booking. Your chauffeur stays nearby with the vehicle for the whole show and can be reached by WhatsApp. After the final bows, send a message and the car will pull up at the agreed spot, ready to take everyone home or on to a late dinner.
Fuel, tolls, and parking are included in every hour you book.
That covers the drive through the PortMiami Tunnel or over the causeway, any tolls on your route, and parking fees downtown while your group is at dinner or in the theater, so there are no small charges to settle at the end of the night. Onboard WiFi comes from a mobile hotspot, which is handy for confirming a dinner reservation or sending photos from the theater steps. Two things can add to the total, and we tell you about both up front. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. Any hours you add beyond your booked block are charged separately.
We have four private vehicle types, from a car for a couple to a van for a large group.
Every vehicle is private and reserved only for your group, and every one comes with our chauffeur driving. We don’t offer self-drive rentals. Choose by group size first, then by style. A Sprinter keeps a large party together in one vehicle, so everyone can keep talking about Opus Jazz all the way home.
For many couples and small groups, yes. It’s a good choice when the ride is part of the celebration, such as an anniversary, a birthday, or hosting guests who are new to Miami. The chauffeur, stops, and inclusions are the same for every vehicle. The difference is the more luxurious interior and the arrival at the theater.
You reserve one vehicle and one chauffeur for a block of hours, not a single ride.
Start by choosing the vehicle that fits your group. The driver can pick up at any Miami address, such as a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal, Miami International Airport, or a home, and you agree on the pickup spot when you book. Your first five hours are the booked block. Within it, you decide the order of stops, how long you stay at dinner, and when to leave for the theater. After that block ends, every extra hour is simply added at your vehicle’s same hourly rate, with no new price to negotiate, and you settle it after the evening is over. If supper after the show runs long or someone wants a nightcap in Brickell, keep the car. You just pay for the extra time at the rate you already know. You can add or drop stops as the night goes on.
Yes, as long as a vehicle is available. If you book a service for the next 24 hours, your time slot is locked in and held just for you, with a driver and vehicle set aside. On that short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund, so the evening runs as agreed. You can still add hours on the day.
A private chauffeur makes ballet night one seamless, unhurried evening for your group.
The vehicle is reserved for your party alone, and one dedicated driver stays with you from the PortMiami pickup to the last drop-off, including waiting during the performance. Your hourly rate is fixed when you book, with no surge pricing on a busy Friday and no changes for traffic or weather. Your chauffeur speaks English and Spanish, which helps when your guests come from distinct countries, and you can message them directly on WhatsApp all evening. Nobody in your group has to drive, circle a garage, or check a parking app between dinner and the show. To us, upscale service means fewer decisions and more time with the people you came with. It means a better experience from the first greeting at the port to the final goodnight at your door.
There is no surcharge for service between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Trips outside those hours carry the surcharge listed below.
We mention it when we confirm your booking, so you know the full cost of the night before anyone gets in the car. Nothing else changes after dark: the same chauffeur, the same vehicle, and the same stops continue as planned.
You pay the full fare at booking, and any extra hours are settled after the evening.
Yes. Our hourly chauffeur service runs from PortMiami to the ballet in a vehicle reserved only for your group. If you were looking for a private shuttle to the theater, this is it: a Black SUV XL, Platinum SUV, or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with your own chauffeur. There are no shared seats and no fixed schedule, and you choose the pickup time.
That matters on a show night. A private vehicle leaves when your group is ready, not on a timetable. Afterward it takes you exactly where you desire to go: back to the cruise terminal, to a hotel in Brickell or Miami Beach, or on to a late dinner in Wynwood. You never wait for other passengers, detour to someone else’s stop, or split up a group that wants to stay together.
The minimum block usually covers a relaxed ballet evening from PortMiami: pickup, dinner, the drive, the performance, and the ride home. If you want cocktails at Bayside first or a late supper after the show, you can add time on the day, so there’s no need to book extra hours in advance.
Yes, within the local Miami area: Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, the area around Miami International Airport, and nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. This is a local, on-call service that stays close to the city, so hourly bookings don’t go as far as Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.
Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice.
Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.
| By the hour with us | App rides (Uber / Lyft) |
|---|---|
| One flat hourly rate, locked before you start | A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak |
| The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day | A different car and a stranger at every pickup |
| Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book | Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop |
| A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur | Whoever happens to accept the ping |
Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll check availability for October 16.
Send us your group size, the PortMiami pickup spot, a rough start time, and the stops you’d like to create, whether that’s cocktails at Bayside, dinner in Brickell, or a late dinner on Miami Beach after the show. We’ll suggest the right vehicle for your group and confirm your booking once the fare is paid. Opening nights downtown draw a crowd, so booking early gives you the widest choice of vehicles. If your plans change before the day, send us a message and we’ll adjust the stops with you. After that, enjoy the evening: dress up, watch the Balanchine and the Robbins, and let your chauffeur handle every mile between the port and your front door.

If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.
You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.
