Transfer from PortMiami to Common at Adrienne Arsht Center

Our private hourly chauffeur from PortMiami to Common at Adrienne Arsht Center on Thursday, November 12, 2026, puts your group in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. The 6:30 PM show pairs Common with Nu Deco Ensemble, and your same bilingual driver handles the drive over, the wait, and the ride home.

How Much Does a Private Chauffeur From PortMiami Cost Per Hour? 📋

Every booking runs for at least five hours at your vehicle’s hourly rate.

  • Up to 5 passengers — Black SUV XL: $100/hour
  • 6 to 9 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $120/hour
  • 10 to 14 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $140/hour
  • Platinum SUV, 1 to 5 passengers: $140/hour

Each rate is for the whole vehicle, not per person, so friends sharing a Sprinter split one hourly figure for the whole evening. On show night, that one figure covers the car from the first pickup to the final drop-off, however many stops fall in between. Many groups start in the late afternoon. That leaves time to eat, reach their seats before the show starts, and head home once the final song ends without anyone watching the clock. The rate stays the same whether your evening centers on PortMiami, Brickell, or the beach, because the car is billed by time, not by distance.

Which Key Facts Matter Before You Book the Concert Ride? 🚙

  • One dedicated vehicle and one chauffeur stay with your group all evening.
  • Every chauffeur speaks English and Spanish.
  • Onboard WiFi runs through a mobile hotspot in every vehicle.
  • A brief comfort stop mid-booking never changes the hourly rate.
  • Chauffeurs are available 24/7, every day of the year.
  • Four private vehicle tiers cover couples, families, and larger celebration groups.

Why Do Concertgoers Choose Our Private Chauffeur? 🥂

A private chauffeur turns show night into one smooth, premium evening from start to finish.

Your hourly rate is flat and locked the moment you book. A hectic Downtown night, heavy traffic, or rain never changes the price, and there is no surge to watch. The vehicle is reserved for your group alone. Nobody else rides with you, and the cabin stays yours for bags, jackets, and the long conversation afterward. You message your booking team directly on WhatsApp, and on the night you can reach your chauffeur the same way. That direct line is a big part of the better experience: one plan, one car, one person who knows your evening. This concert is built around a live orchestra and lyrics that reward close listening, so arriving peaceful instead of rushed is the whole point of choosing premium service.

What Does the Hourly Rate Include on Show Night? 🍾

Fuel, tolls, and parking are all covered by the hourly rate you book.

That matters on a concert night Downtown, when garage lines and event traffic around the performing arts district can eat into the evening before the music starts. Your chauffeur handles the car, and none of those costs lands on your bill. The itinerary stays open as well. Add a stop for a cocktail, drop one if dinner runs long, or linger outside Knight Concert Hall for photos, and nothing about the fare needs to be renegotiated. If the schedule allows, you can also stretch the evening on the spot. You pay separately only for concert tickets, meals, and drinks, because we provide the car and chauffeur rather than a ticketed package. Beyond any extra hours you add, the only other charge that can apply is the evening surcharge in the next section. It matters here because the ride home follows an evening concert.

Is There a Surcharge for the Ride Home After the Show? 🌆

Yes, a surcharge applies to trips outside daytime hours. Daytime runs from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and outside that window the amounts below apply.

  • SUV (1-5 passengers): +$50 USD surcharge for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Van (6-14 passengers): +10% surcharge over the hourly total for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. For an SUV, the surcharge is a single amount per journey rather than an extra hourly charge. For a Sprinter, it is a percentage of the journey value. Your booking team confirms how it applies to your evening before show night, so it never arrives as a surprise at the end. Groups heading on to a late dinner or a nightcap after the concert merely fold that time into the same booking.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group for the Common Concert? 🚐

Headcount decides the vehicle, and every private tier includes the same evening-long chauffeur service.

  • Black SUV XL: seats up to 5 passengers — a sleek, understated ride for couples, friends, or a small family.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: seats 6 to 9 passengers, roomy enough for a mid-size group to ride and arrive together.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: seats 10 to 14 passengers, so a full birthday table or fan club travels as one.
  • Platinum SUV: seats 1 to 5 passengers in a more polished luxury SUV for a dressed-up night. Reference Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition

If your group falls between two sizes, send the final headcount and your plans for the night on WhatsApp. We will suggest the tier that keeps everyone comfortable without paying for empty seats. A Sprinter also suits groups who desire to keep the dinner conversation going on the drive instead of splitting across cars.

What Is Common With Nu Deco Ensemble on November 12? 🎤

Common with Nu Deco Ensemble is a one-night-only concert where hip-hop meets a live orchestra.

On Thursday, November 12, 2026, the Chicago rapper performs his catalog with Nu Deco Ensemble, Miami’s own genre-crossing orchestra, in Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center. He has won a Grammy, an Emmy, and an Academy Award, and he also works as an actor, author, and activist. The 6:30 PM show is part of the Arsht’s Live at Knight series and reimagines songs longtime fans know by heart with symphonic arrangements. Event details are on the Common with Nu Deco Ensemble event page. For your chauffeur, the takeaway is simple: this is a seated, slightly dressed-up evening Downtown, and arriving relaxed sets the tone for everything that follows. A private car lets your group arrive together, walk straight in, and save the debate over favorite tracks for the ride home.

Who Usually Attends a Hip-Hop and Orchestra Night Like This?

The audience leans toward adults who grew up on Common’s classic albums, from Like Water for Chocolate to Be and Finding Forever. Orchestra regulars curious about the crossover join them. Expect a diverse room of professionals, creatives, and longtime conscious hip-hop fans, many turning the night into a date or a reunion with old friends.

Where Does the Driver Pick You Up in PortMiami? 🏝️

Your chauffeur meets you at any address in PortMiami agreed when you book.

For cruise passengers, that usually means the arrivals curb outside your cruise terminal, where the driver is ready once you have cleared the ship. Anyone working on the port, at a cruise line office, a terminal, or another business on Dodge Island, can be picked up right outside their building at the end of the workday. That makes an after-work concert plan easy. Share the exact spot, your terminal or building name, and a rough ready time over WhatsApp, and the chauffeur confirms it before arriving. Port traffic and disembarkation can shift on the day. If your ready time changes, message the driver directly and the pickup adjusts with you. From that first meeting at the curb, the group settles into its own private cabin and the evening begins, with nobody hunting for a ride through a hectic port crowd.

Can a Cruise-Day Arrival Go Straight From the Terminal to the Show?

Yes — a cruise-day arrival can roll straight into the concert evening. The chauffeur picks you up at the terminal curb. Because the same vehicle stays with your group, you can stop at your hotel to change, head to dinner, and continue to the show without switching cars. Share your ship name and expected disembarkation window when you book.

Where Can You Eat Near PortMiami Before the Concert? 🍸

Bayside Marketplace, just across the Port Boulevard bridge, is the easiest pre-show stop from PortMiami.

Its open-air waterfront promenade holds casual restaurants and bars facing the marina and Biscayne Bay, a natural setting for a first drink as the evening light fades. Bayside sits on the same boulevard that leads north to the concert, so the night flows in one direction with no backtracking. Groups who desire something quieter can head deeper into Downtown Miami or up toward the Edgewater and Omni blocks near the performing arts district, where neighborhood restaurants fill with theatergoers before curtain time. For a lighter plan, a stroll through Bayfront Park fills any spare time before the drive north. Your chauffeur drops you at the door, keeps the car close while you eat, and pulls up again the moment you are ready. Nobody has to leave the table early to worry about parking or timing.

Is Brickell a Good Place for Dinner Before the Show?

Brickell suits groups who want a more polished pre-show dinner, with dense blocks of restaurants and rooftop bars around Brickell City Centre and Mary Brickell Village. It sits just south of Downtown, so after dessert the chauffeur heads north up Biscayne Boulevard toward the concert hall. Nobody has to hunt for parking twice in one evening.

How Do You Get to Adrienne Arsht Center From PortMiami? 🎭

Your chauffeur drives from PortMiami into Downtown and north along Biscayne Boulevard to the venue.

The usual route crosses the Port Boulevard bridge onto the boulevard, then heads north past Bayside Marketplace and alongside Museum Park before reaching the performing arts campus. When the boulevard backs up, the chauffeur can take the PortMiami Tunnel instead, which links to the MacArthur Causeway and the expressway that runs right past the arts district. The distance is modest either way. On a Thursday concert night, though, weeknight commuters, Downtown diners, and a full hall of arriving guests all crowd onto the same few blocks, so the timing advice below leans generous. Your chauffeur watches live traffic and chooses the smoother path on the night. The group merely sits back while the skyline slides past and the conversation turns to which song Common will open with.

How Early Should You Leave PortMiami for Common?

Leave PortMiami well ahead of the 6:30 PM start. The drive is typically short, but allow a generous cushion on a Thursday concert evening for weeknight traffic, the drop-off line, and finding your seats without rushing. If dinner comes first, start earlier still, and your chauffeur paces each stop so the group reaches the hall unhurried.

Where Does the Driver Drop You Off at Knight Concert Hall?

Your chauffeur drops the group as close to the entrance as event access allows. The Arsht campus spans both sides of Biscayne Boulevard, so the driver aims for the curb nearest Knight Concert Hall rather than the opera house. Police and venue traffic plans can shift curb access on the night, and the chauffeur adjusts on the spot.

Can the Driver Wait During the Show?

Yes — your driver waits through the entire concert. The vehicle stays reserved for your group and parked nearby for the whole show. When the final song ends, you message the chauffeur on WhatsApp and meet at an agreed pickup point close to the hall. The same car then takes everyone home, with no scramble for a ride in the post-show crowd.

How Does Booking a Chauffeur by the Hour Work? 🕴️

Booking by the hour reserves one car and one chauffeur for a block of time.

Start by choosing the vehicle that fits your group, then send the date, a rough start time, and the stops on your wish list. The chauffeur can pick you up at any Miami address, whether a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal, Miami International Airport, or a home, and the pickup spot is agreed at booking. From that first pickup, the booking covers your first five hours, and your group directs the evening: dinner, the concert, a nightcap, or a drive home past the waterfront. The chauffeur stays with you for the whole block. If the night runs longer than planned, merely keep the car. Every extra hour after the first five is added at the same per-hour rate for your vehicle, with no renegotiated fare, and it is settled after the evening wraps up. Many groups book the core block and decide on extra time only after the encore.

Which Payment Options Reserve Your Date? 📋

Payment stays simple, and the full fare is due when you book.

  • Accepted methods: card or Apple Pay through the secure checkout on the site, or a Stripe payment link sent to you over WhatsApp.
  • Payment: The full fare, paid up front, locks in the booking.
  • Hours: Every booking has a 5-hour minimum, and you can keep the car longer at any point. Each hour after that block is added at the same flat per-hour rate, never a renegotiated fare, and settled after the day.

Is There Private Transportation From PortMiami to Common? 🏙️

Yes — our private chauffeur service runs from PortMiami to Common, booked by the hour.

The vehicle, the chauffeur, and the timing belong to your group alone for the whole evening, with no fixed timetable to follow. If you are searching for a car service, a private van, or a luxury SUV to the concert, you will locate all three here. The Black SUV XL suits a smaller party, a private Sprinter van suits a bigger one, and the Platinum SUV fits when the night calls for something more polished. Because the booking follows your plan, it can begin at the cruise terminal, pause for dinner, and end at your hotel, your home, or a late table across the bay. The questions below cover what guests most often ask before they confirm, from where the service runs to what happens when you book close to show day.

Can We Combine Dinner and the Show in One Booking?

Yes — dinner and the concert fit naturally into one hourly booking. The same car carries the group from PortMiami to the restaurant, on to the concert, and home afterward, so there is never a second reservation to juggle. Book your table directly, then share the reservation time with us so the chauffeur can plan the drive around it.

Which Miami Neighborhoods Does the Hourly Service Cover?

The hourly service stays local and on call around the city. It covers Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, and the area around Miami International Airport, plus nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. We keep this hourly service close to the city, so it does not run out to Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.

Can We Continue to South Beach After the Concert?

Yes — a nightcap on South Beach is an easy way to extend the evening. The chauffeur crosses the causeway to Miami Beach and drops the group along the Art Deco blocks of Ocean Drive or at a hotel bar on Collins Avenue. The chauffeur stays nearby until you are ready, then everyone rides back across the bay to their hotel or home.

Can We Bring a Pet Along for the Evening?

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice.

What If We Book Within 24 Hours of the Concert?

Last-minute bookings are welcome. Once the date and time are agreed inside the final 24 hours, your slot is locked in and held just for you, with a driver and vehicle already set aside. On that short notice, a date change or refund can’t be guaranteed, so the evening runs as agreed. You can always add more hours on the day.

Booking a Chauffeur for the Day vs. Stacking App Rides

Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.

By the hour with us App rides (Uber / Lyft)
One flat hourly rate, locked before you start A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak
The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day A different car and a stranger at every pickup
Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop
A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur Whoever happens to accept the ping

Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

Send us the updated information as soon as possible, and we’ll adjust your booking while monitoring the new flight status.

📍 Do you offer meet-and-greet at the airport?

We primarily work with curbside pickup. Just send a message with your exit gate and the driver will arrive in a few minutes — usually faster than the traditional sign-holding service.

🚘 How will I recognize my pickup driver?

The day before your trip, we’ll send you a message with the driver’s name, vehicle model, and license plate, along with detailed instructions for curbside pickup.

📞 What do I do if I can't reach my driver?

For domestic flights, we offer up to 60 minutes of wait time after arrival.

For international flights, the courtesy time is up to 120 minutes.

For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace period.

For port pickups, we wait up to 60 minutes past the agreed time.

⏳ What happens when a passenger takes more than two hours to leave the airport?

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

👜 Does the driver help with luggage?

Yes. Our drivers help load and unload your bags.

📦 Do you accept extra or oversized baggage?

The standard allowance includes one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

Traveling with larger or additional items — extra suitcases, musical instruments, mobility equipment, or strollers? Contact us in advance so we can arrange the necessary space. An additional fee may apply.

🐾 Can I bring my dog or cat in the vehicle?

We’re sorry — pets are not accepted on any of our services. Certified service animals are welcome: please tell us in advance and we’ll assign a van for the ride.

🥤 Can I eat or drink during the ride?

We ask that you don’t eat during the trip. Only water in sealed bottles is allowed on board.

🚧 Can we make a quick stop during the ride?

With by-the-hour service, stops are included: the vehicle is yours for the hours you book.

🕒 Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Yes. The pickup time and other details (an extra passenger) can be changed until 24 hours before the ride, depending on availability. Within 24 hours of the ride there are no changes and no refunds — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what we can do. The travel date itself is fixed once booked.

💲 Are there additional charges beyond the quoted price?

No hidden fees: the quoted price includes the driver, fuel and tolls. Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.

❌ What is your cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.

Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
