Transfer from Surfside to Common at Adrienne Arsht Center

Our private hourly chauffeur takes your group from Surfside to Common with Nu Deco Ensemble at the Adrienne Arsht Center on Thursday, November 12, 2026, in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. One bilingual driver picks you up at your Surfside hotel or residence before the 6:30 PM show, stays with you all evening, and drives everyone home, with no surge pricing.

How Much Does a Private Hourly Chauffeur From Surfside Cost? 📋

You pay per vehicle, per hour, and every booking includes at least five hours of chauffeured time.

  • Up to 5 passengers — Black SUV XL: $100/hour
  • 6 to 9 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $120/hour
  • 10 to 14 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $140/hour
  • Platinum SUV, 1 to 5 passengers: $140/hour

Choose your vehicle by the size of your group, not by distance. The hourly price is the same whether you go straight down to Biscayne Boulevard or take a longer route with dinner in Bal Harbour first. A couple or a small group of friends usually fits comfortably in the Black SUV XL. A birthday group or a family outing that needs more seats moves up to one of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter tiers. The Platinum SUV suits riders who want a more polished cabin for a night at the concert hall. Your total is your vehicle’s hourly rate multiplied by the hours you reserve. The only extra is the night surcharge. Extra time works the same way, one hour at a time, as the next sections explain.

What Does the Hourly Rate Include on Concert Night? 🚙

The hourly rate covers the vehicle, your chauffeur, fuel, tolls, and parking for the whole booking.

That means no pay station at a garage near the concert hall, no surprise tolls on the causeway, and no fuel costs passed on to you. The car has onboard WiFi through a mobile hotspot, so you can pull up digital tickets or send a photo to the group chat on the way. If anyone needs a swift restroom, snack, or stretch break, just ask the driver. One brief comfort stop during the booking doesn’t change the rate. There’s room for what concertgoers usually bring, like a garment bag for a change of clothes after dinner or a bag of merch on the way home. If you plan to bring something large, tell us in advance. The only possible extra is the night surcharge for time outside daytime hours, which has its own section below.

How Does Booking a Driver by the Hour Work for an Event Night? 🕴️

You reserve one vehicle and one chauffeur for a block of hours, and the car is yours for that whole time.

First, choose the vehicle that fits your group. Then send us a rough start time and the stops you have in mind. The chauffeur can pick you up at any Miami address: a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal (on a cruise day you can go straight to the event), Miami International Airport, or a home. We agree on the exact pickup spot when you book. From then on, the car stays with your group for the full reservation. You decide where it goes and in what order, such as dinner, the concert, and a nightcap afterward. The plan can change during the evening. If you still want the car after the first five hours, keep it. Each extra hour is added at the same per-hour rate, with no new fare to negotiate, and you settle it after the day is over.

What Is Common With Nu Deco Ensemble at the Arsht Center? 🎤

Common performs his hits with Nu Deco Ensemble for one night only, on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

The Chicago rapper, actor, and author has won Grammy, Emmy, and Academy Awards. For this show he joins Nu Deco Ensemble, Miami’s own genre-crossing orchestra, in the Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Nu Deco is known for rearranging pop and hip-hop for full orchestra. Expect songs numerous fans have loved since the Like Water for Chocolate and Be years, rebuilt with strings, brass, and live percussion. The concert is part of the Arsht’s Live at Knight series, and it’s a night people dress up for. Guests arrive from dinner, from work, or from a hotel they checked into that afternoon. With a dressy crowd and a weeknight start, a dedicated car from Surfside makes sense. You leave the beach when you’re ready and arrive dressed and relaxed. Tickets and seating are handled by the venue, and the official Common event listing has the latest show details.

Who Usually Goes to Common’s Show With Nu Deco?

Expect a grown-up, dressed-up crowd, mostly fans who grew up with Common’s classic albums and conscious, golden-era hip-hop.

Many people come as couples or in small groups of friends and have dinner before the show. Plenty of them are Miami professionals and creatives who want a full night out. That kind of evening is a natural fit for a private car and one chauffeur for the whole night.

How Do You Get to Adrienne Arsht Center From Surfside on Concert Night? 🎭

Your chauffeur drives south from Surfside to Biscayne Boulevard and drops your group near the concert hall entrance.

On a map the route is simple, but a Thursday evening in Miami adds complications. Commuters crowd the causeways, concertgoers pour onto Biscayne Boulevard, and the drop-off lane fills up before the 6:30 PM start. A chauffeur who drives this route often knows how to read those conditions and chooses the calmer route on the night. Your group walks out of the lobby, gets in the car, and steps out close to the hall, dressed and on time. The car doesn’t leave once you’re inside. The same chauffeur stays for the drive home, so you don’t need to think about getting back to Surfside until the music stops. The questions below cover each part of the evening.

Where Does the Driver Pick You Up in Surfside?

The driver picks you up at any address in Surfside you choose, most often a hotel lobby or a private home.

Guests at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club or The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside can meet the car at the hotel’s front drive. If you live along Collins Avenue or on the quiet streets off Harding Avenue, the driver picks you up at your door, and condo buildings work the same way through the lobby. If your group is coming from several addresses, the driver can make more than one pickup before heading south. Just list them all when you book.

Which Roads Does the Chauffeur Take From Surfside to Biscayne Boulevard?

On most evenings the chauffeur heads south on Collins or Harding Avenue, then crosses the bay on a causeway.

The usual choices are the 79th Street Causeway, which comes out onto Biscayne Boulevard on the mainland, or the Julia Tuttle Causeway farther south, which connects to the boulevard and I-95. From there the car heads down Biscayne Boulevard to the arts district. The driver picks the causeway on the night based on live traffic.

How Early Should You Leave Surfside for Common?

Leave Surfside well before the 6:30 PM start, and allow extra time because the drive falls during Thursday evening rush hour.

Traffic on the causeways and Biscayne Boulevard usually builds in the early evening, and the venue’s drop-off point gets busy as showtime gets closer. Arriving early gives your group time to find your seats, get a drink in the lobby, and settle in before the orchestra tunes up. If you’re having dinner first, your chauffeur will suggest when to leave the restaurant based on that night’s traffic.

Where Does the Driver Drop You Off at the Arsht?

The chauffeur gets the car as close to the Knight Concert Hall entrance as access allows that night.

Most cars unload at the venue’s drop-off point near the hall, and the driver follows whatever directions traffic staff give that evening. Everyone gets out together, with no long walk from a distant garage in dress shoes. Before you go in, agree with the driver on WhatsApp where to meet after the show.

Can the Driver Wait During the Show?

Yes. Waiting through the concert is the main reason to book by the hour.

While Common and Nu Deco play, your chauffeur parks nearby and stays with the vehicle. When the show ends, message the driver on WhatsApp and the car pulls up at the meeting spot you agreed on. You won’t be hunting for a ride on a crowded sidewalk on Biscayne Boulevard, and anything you left in the car will still be there.

Where Can You Eat in Surfside Before Common? 🥂

Surfside and neighboring Bal Harbour have polished dinner options right near your pickup.

The Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club has two good choices for a concert night. The Surf Club Restaurant is a classic, dressy dining room, and Le Sirenuse Miami serves an Italian coastal menu. Just north, Bal Harbour Shops has several well-known restaurants in one place, including Makoto for Japanese food and Le Zoo for French brasserie dishes. A group can eat, walk the shops, and still be back in the car on time. For something more casual, Harding Avenue in Surfside’s small business district has relaxed cafés and neighborhood spots. Hotel dining rooms here usually ask for smart dress, which fits the polished feel of a night at the Knight Concert Hall. Your chauffeur is happy to suggest where to go and when to leave, but we don’t create restaurant reservations for you.

Can We Combine Dinner and the Show in One Booking?

Yes. Start the booking at dinner, and one reservation covers the meal, the concert, and the ride home.

The driver waits outside the restaurant while you eat, then heads south when you’re done. After the show, the same car can stop in Edgewater, the Design District, or Wynwood for a late bite or a nightcap before going back to Surfside. If the evening runs past your reserved hours, extra time is simply added.

Which Areas Does This Hourly Service Cover Beyond Surfside? 🏝️

The hourly service stays local, covering the Miami region around Surfside and neighboring areas up toward Fort Lauderdale.

Your chauffeur covers the neighborhoods a concert night usually involves: Surfside and Miami Beach, Downtown Miami and Brickell, Wynwood and Little Havana, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Doral, and the region around Miami International Airport. The service also reaches neighboring areas north toward Fort Lauderdale. We keep it local on purpose. Staying around the city means your driver knows the region, is on call, and has time to wait between stops instead of rushing off to a long-distance job. It also means we don’t run this hourly service to far destinations such as Naples or West Palm Beach. It’s made for evenings like this one, when your group moves between a Surfside hotel, dinner, the concert hall, and home again. For the Common concert, every place you’re likely to want is within that local region, so you can plan the whole evening around one car.

Key Facts About Your Surfside Concert-Night Chauffeur 🌆

  • Every booking starts with a five-hour block of chauffeured time.
  • One dedicated vehicle and one chauffeur stay with your group for the whole booking.
  • Each hour after the five-hour block is added at the same per-hour rate.
  • Every chauffeur is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish.
  • Every booking is private, so your group never shares the vehicle with strangers.
  • Your group size decides the vehicle: an SUV for smaller groups, a Sprinter for larger ones.
  • Service is available 24/7, including late rides home after an evening concert.

How Does Payment Work for an Hourly Booking? 📋

The full fare, paid at booking, reserves your date, and you settle any added hours afterward.

  • Accepted methods: Pay by card or Apple Pay through the secure checkout on the site, or through a Stripe payment link we send you on WhatsApp.
  • Payment: The full fare, paid when you book, reserves your booking.
  • Hours: Bookings have a 5-hour minimum, and you can keep the car longer at any time. Every hour after that block is simply added at the same flat per-hour rate, never a renegotiated fare, and you settle it after the day.

Why Book a Private Chauffeur for Common From Surfside? 🍾

A reserved car and one bilingual chauffeur turn a weeknight concert into a upscale service from door to door.

The vehicle is reserved for your group alone, so the cabin feels like your own space. Coats and bags stay in the car, the conversation carries on between stops, and nobody shares a seat with a stranger. Your hourly rate is set when you book, with no surge on a busy concert night and no change for traffic or weather. One chauffeur handles the whole evening. That’s one person who knows your plan, your pickup spot, and your timing, and who stays with your group through the show instead of handing you off to someone else. Every guest can talk to the driver comfortably in English or Spanish. You plan directly on WhatsApp with the team that runs the cars, so you obtain swift, clear answers. All together, it’s a better experience and a more upscale service for your night out.

Does a Night Surcharge Apply to Late Pickups? 🎆

Yes. Daytime hours run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and any journey outside those hours carries a surcharge.

Common goes on stage at 6:30 PM, so the drive to the concert usually falls within daytime hours. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. Starting early with dinner in Surfside adds nothing extra, because those hours are within the daytime window. The amount depends on your vehicle type, as shown below, so you know the full cost before you confirm.

  • SUV (1-5 passengers): +$50 USD surcharge for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Van (6-14 passengers): +10% surcharge over the hourly total for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group for the Concert? 🚐

Four private vehicle options cover everything from a couple’s night out to a large group of friends.

  • Black SUV XL: seats up to 5 passengers in a sleek black cabin, the natural choice for couples and small groups.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: seats 6 to 9 passengers, so a mid-size group can ride together and arrive at the same time.
  • Larger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: seats 10 to 14 passengers and keeps a big group in one vehicle all night.
  • Platinum SUV: seats up to 5 passengers in a top luxury SUV. Reference Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition

Every vehicle comes with the same setup: your own chauffeur, booked by the hour. The differences are space and how the cabin feels. If your headcount changes before the concert, tell us and we’ll switch you to the right size.

Is There Private Transportation From Surfside to Common? 🍸

Yes. A private SUV or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with your own chauffeur, booked by the hour, takes your group from Surfside to the show and back.

Every ride is private. The vehicle and driver are reserved for your group only, with no fixed departure times and no shared seats. Whether you need a private van for a birthday group or a luxury SUV for two, it’s the same service, sized to your group. Booking happens in one WhatsApp conversation. Send the number of guests, a rough start time, your Surfside pickup address, and any stops you want before or after the show. We confirm the vehicle, the start time, and the plan in that same conversation. The concert is on a Thursday in the busy fall season, so booking early gives you the most choice of vehicles. Short-notice requests are welcome whenever a car is available. The answers below cover what Surfside riders most often ask before confirming.

Do You Need Omni Garage Parking or Arsht Valet if You Book a Driver?

No. With a chauffeur, you don’t need the Omni garage, the valet line, or street parking.

The venue offers several parking options, including nearby garages, drop-off parking, and valet. Each one means paying, waiting in line, or walking on a busy night. With our car, the driver takes care of the vehicle while you walk straight in, and the driver’s parking is already covered.

Can You Bring a Pet in the Car to the Concert?

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice.

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice. We check each request against the vehicle and your plans for the evening before we confirm the booking.

What Happens if You Book Within 24 Hours of the Show?

If you book within 24 hours of your ride, your slot is locked in and held just for you, with a driver and vehicle already set aside.

With that little notice, the date and time stay as agreed, because we can’t guarantee moving the booking to another day or a refund once your car is reserved. You still have flexibility on the night: you can add hours at the same rate whenever the evening runs long.

Can a Larger Group of Friends Ride Together From Surfside?

Yes. A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter keeps a bigger group in one private vehicle from the first pickup to the ride home.

When you ride together, everyone gets to the concert hall at the same time, nobody is stranded after the encore, and the conversation about the setlist keeps going all the way back to Surfside. If you’re not sure which Sprinter size you need, send us your final headcount and we’ll match you to the right one.

Booking a Chauffeur for the Day vs. Stacking App Rides

Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.

By the hour with us App rides (Uber / Lyft)
One flat hourly rate, locked before you start A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak
The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day A different car and a stranger at every pickup
Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop
A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur Whoever happens to accept the ping

Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

How Can You Reserve Your Surfside Chauffeur for November 12? 🎊

Message us on WhatsApp with your group size, your Surfside pickup address, and the stops you want, and we’ll confirm your car.

A good booking message includes how many guests are coming, which Surfside hotel or home the evening starts from, whether you’re having dinner first and where, and roughly when you want to arrive at the concert hall. We’ll match you with the right vehicle, confirm your start time, and send the payment link. If you want to add a stop or change the plan before the day, just message us in the same chat. On November 12, all you need to do is walk out of the lobby and obtain in the car. This is a one-night-only show, so check availability now to reserve your vehicle and savor the evening knowing your ride home is already arranged.

🎉 Can I book transportation for weddings or special events?

Yes. We serve weddings, corporate conferences, VIP events, and other special occasions — as a direct ride to the venue, or with the chauffeur staying with you for the whole celebration on our hourly service (5-hour minimum). Contact us with the date, head count and schedule and we will set it up.

📶 Do you offer Wi-Fi on board or device chargers?

Some vehicles in our fleet are equipped with Wi-Fi and USB ports. Let us know in advance if this is essential, and we’ll book a vehicle that meets your needs.

👥 Will the ride be shared with other passengers?

No. We only work with private transfers. The vehicle is reserved exclusively for you and your party, with no shared seating.

✈️ What happens if my flight is early, delayed, or canceled?

No problem. We track your flight in real time and adjust the pickup time when needed, at no extra charge.

🔁 And if my flight arrives early, is delayed, or canceled?

Send us the updated information as soon as possible, and we’ll adjust your booking while monitoring the new flight status.

📍 Do you offer meet-and-greet at the airport?

We primarily work with curbside pickup. Just send a message with your exit gate and the driver will arrive in a few minutes — usually faster than the traditional sign-holding service.

If you prefer the driver to wait inside the terminal with a sign bearing your name, add the Meet & Greet for US$ 40 when you book — available for airport pickups only.

🚘 How will I recognize my pickup driver?

The day before your trip, we’ll send you a message with the driver’s name, vehicle model, and license plate, along with detailed instructions for curbside pickup.

📞 What do I do if I can't reach my driver?

Don’t worry. We’ll send you a message as soon as your flight lands. If we don’t receive a quick reply, the driver will automatically head to the international arrivals hall. Wait there and we’ll find you.

⏱ How long does the driver wait after my arrival?

For domestic flights, we offer up to 60 minutes of wait time after arrival.

For international flights, the courtesy time is up to 120 minutes.

For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace period.

For port pickups, we wait up to 60 minutes past the agreed time.

⏳ What happens when a passenger takes more than two hours to leave the airport?

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

👜 Does the driver help with luggage?

Yes. Our drivers help load and unload your bags.

📦 Do you accept extra or oversized baggage?

The standard allowance includes one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

Traveling with larger or additional items — extra suitcases, musical instruments, mobility equipment, or strollers? Contact us in advance so we can arrange the necessary space. An additional fee may apply.

🐾 Can I bring my dog or cat in the vehicle?

We’re sorry — pets are not accepted on any of our services. Certified service animals are welcome: please tell us in advance and we’ll assign a van for the ride.

🥤 Can I eat or drink during the ride?

We ask that you don’t eat during the trip. Only water in sealed bottles is allowed on board.

🚧 Can we make a quick stop during the ride?

With by-the-hour service, stops are included: the vehicle is yours for the hours you book.

🕒 Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Yes. The pickup time and other details (an extra passenger) can be changed until 24 hours before the ride, depending on availability. Within 24 hours of the ride there are no changes and no refunds — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what we can do. The travel date itself is fixed once booked.

💲 Are there additional charges beyond the quoted price?

No hidden fees: the quoted price includes the driver, fuel and tolls. Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.

❌ What is your cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.

Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
