Our private hourly chauffeur takes you from Coconut Grove to Common at Adrienne Arsht Center on November 12, 2026, in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. Your bilingual driver collects the group anywhere in Coconut Grove before the 6:30 PM show and waits through the concert to drive everyone home.
Each vehicle has one flat hourly rate, and bookings run at least five hours.
Rates are per vehicle, not per passenger, so a group going to the concert together can share one Sprinter instead of splitting into several cars. The hourly clock covers the whole evening: the pickup in Coconut Grove, a dinner stop, the drive downtown, the show itself, and the ride home. Nothing is charged by the mile or by the leg. For a 6:30 PM concert, numerous groups plan the block around a late-afternoon pickup, dinner, the performance, and a simple journey back, and they keep the car longer if the night runs late.
Daytime hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM carry no surcharge at all. Outside that window, one surcharge applies based on the vehicle you book:
Whether it applies depends on when your booking ends. A concert that starts at 6:30 PM can leave time to get home before 6:00 PM, but a nightcap in Brickell or a slow exit from downtown can push the journey past that hour. For the SUV, the surcharge is one amount per journey, not an hourly add-on. For the Sprinter, it is a percentage of the journey value. If you plan for it from the start, the group’s split stays clear and nobody has to redo the math on the ride home.
Fuel, tolls, and parking are built into every hourly rate.
That matters on concert night, because nobody pays for a downtown garage, feeds a meter, or splits a toll receipt on the way home. The vehicle has onboard WiFi through a mobile hotspot for anyone checking tickets or sharing photos. One short comfort stop for a restroom, a snack, or a stretch is simple to fit in, and it doesn’t change the rate; just ask the driver. There is room for a garment bag or a change of shoes for the evening, but tell us in advance if you’re bringing something large. Only two extras may apply. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking.
You reserve one vehicle and one chauffeur for a block of five hours or more.
Start by choosing the vehicle that seats your whole group. Then send the stops you have in mind (pickup, dinner, the concert, the ride home) and a rough start time. The driver picks up at any Miami address agreed at booking: a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal if you’re arriving on a cruise day and heading straight to the event, Miami International Airport, or a home. From that first pickup, the same driver stays with you for the whole block. The driver waits at the venue while you’re inside and follows the stops you set, adding or dropping one as the night changes. The five-hour block is only the starting point. Every hour after it is merely added at the same per-hour rate, with no new fare to negotiate. The group can keep the car as long as it needs and settle the extra time after the night ends.
Four private vehicle types cover couples, friend groups, and larger parties heading downtown.
Every vehicle comes with its own chauffeur. If someone in your group is looking for a private shuttle to the concert, the Sprinter is exactly that: a private van reserved for your party alone, with one chauffeur for the whole evening. Not sure which size fits? Send your head count on WhatsApp and we’ll match the group to the right vehicle.
Your chauffeur heads north out of Coconut Grove, through Brickell, and up Biscayne Boulevard.
The usual route runs along South Bayshore Drive into Brickell Avenue, crosses the Miami River, and continues past Bayfront Park toward the Omni edge of downtown. When those streets back up, the driver can switch to US-1 and take I-95 north instead, choosing on the night based on live traffic. The journey looks short on a map. But a Thursday arrival for a 6:30 PM show lands in the evening commute, with Brickell offices emptying and concertgoers heading for the same blocks. The drive is usually manageable, but allow plenty of extra time rather than cutting it close. When you ride by the hour, traffic is the driver’s problem, not yours. The group sits back and talks about the songs everyone hopes to hear while the chauffeur handles the road.
Your driver meets you at any address in Coconut Grove you set at booking. That could be the lobby of a hotel such as Mayfair House, a condo along South Bayshore Drive, a home on the shaded streets off Main Highway, or the curb outside CocoWalk after an afternoon of shopping. Because the spot is set in advance, the driver arrives knowing exactly where to meet you.
A private car is the simplest option from the Grove. Public buses and rail can get you downtown, but they often mean a transfer and a walk after dark in concert clothes. Driving yourself means Thursday traffic and searching for parking on a busy night. With a chauffeur, parking is already included and the whole group arrives together.
Common performs his hits with Nu Deco Ensemble for one night only.
The concert is on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6:30 PM in Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center, as part of the venue’s Live at Knight series. Common is the Chicago rapper, actor, author, and activist who has won Grammy, Emmy, and Academy Awards. For this show, he performs with Nu Deco Ensemble, Miami’s own genre-crossing orchestra, which has won national praise for pairing classical players with hip-hop and beyond. Anticipate rich string arrangements behind the songs fans have loved since the golden-era run of Like Water for Chocolate and Be. The hall fills with a grown, diverse crowd of longtime listeners, creatives, and professionals who treat the evening as a real night out. Show details and updates are posted on the Common with Nu Deco Ensemble event listing.
A dressed-up weeknight concert is better when the group arrives and leaves together. Friends often come from dinner and want to talk about the show on the way home. Nobody wants to split into separate cars or make one friend the designated driver. A private chauffeur keeps the whole party in one vehicle from the first stop to the last.
Your chauffeur pulls up as close to the entrance as access allows.
The exact drop-off point is agreed with you at booking. On the night, the driver follows whatever traffic directions are in place around the venue, so the group steps out and walks straight in without ever using a parking garage. Once everyone is inside, the rest of the logistics are the driver’s job, not yours. Save the driver’s WhatsApp number before you go in. A short message when the final song begins is enough for the vehicle to be ready at the agreed pickup spot as the crowd spills onto Biscayne Boulevard. That one agreed meeting point is what makes the exit simple: no scanning a packed curb for a car you don’t know, just the same vehicle and a familiar face ready to take the group home.
Leave with plenty of extra time, because a 6:30 PM Thursday start overlaps downtown’s evening rush. Aim to arrive early enough to find your seats and grab a drink without watching the clock. If dinner is part of the night, start the booking earlier and let the driver time the departure from the Grove around live traffic.
Yes. Waiting through the show is exactly what the hourly booking covers. After the drop-off, the car stays nearby for the whole concert instead of circling downtown or leaving. There is no second ride to arrange and no scramble after the encore. The chauffeur is ready as soon as you send a message.
The ride home starts at the pickup spot you agreed with the driver. Walk out, find the same vehicle, and head south to the Grove or anywhere else on your list. If friends live in different neighborhoods, the driver can drop each one at their own door. Every stop stays inside the same hourly booking.
Yes. Start the hourly block before dinner and the whole evening runs in one booking.
Coconut Grove has simple pre-show options: Greenstreet Cafe on Commodore Plaza for a lively sidewalk table, Glass & Vine in Peacock Park looking out toward the bay, or the restaurants and patios around CocoWalk. Would you rather eat closer to the concert? The driver can stop in Brickell on the way north, where restaurants line the streets below the towers, and then take the group the rest of the way downtown. While you eat, nobody watches a meter or looks for a parking space. These are ideas for your hours, not reservations we make. Book the table yourself and share the time, and the driver will plan the departure around it so the group walks into the hall fed, relaxed, and ready for the first song.
Yes, if the group wants one. Keep the car past your booked hours and ask the driver to stop at a Brickell rooftop bar, or head back to the Grove for a last drink along Grand Avenue or Main Highway. The night runs on your schedule, and the car stays outside until the group is ready to go home.
A private chauffeur gives your group one reserved vehicle and one bilingual driver all night.
The car belongs to your party alone. It is never shared and never swapped mid-evening, and the same driver stays with you from the first pickup in the Grove to the final drop-off. The flat hourly rate is locked when you book, with no surge and no change for traffic, weather, or a busy concert night, so the rate you see at booking is the rate that applies. You message your driver directly on WhatsApp, and plans can change on the spot: a detour to pick up a friend, a longer dinner, a quick stop for flowers. Privacy, a fixed rate, and one familiar face make this a upscale service and a better experience from start to finish, and the evening feels as polished as the music on stage.
Yes. We supply private transportation by the hour from Coconut Grove to the concert and back.
This is not a scheduled route or a seat in someone else’s vehicle. You reserve a whole private SUV or private van with a bilingual chauffeur and decide where it goes. Riders frequently ask who covers the journey between CocoWalk and downtown, or between Miami Beach and the Grove. The answer is the same for both: one local hourly operator, one private vehicle, and your own itinerary. Friends coming from Coral Gables, Brickell, or Miami Beach can be picked up as extra stops before the car heads north, so everyone arrives together. Because the booking is hourly, there’s no separate fare for each leg; every stop falls inside the same block. The chauffeur can also suggest the smoothest order for the pickups.
The hourly service stays local and on call around the city: Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, the area around Miami International Airport, and nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. Farther destinations such as Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach are not part of this hourly service.
Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice. Checking ahead means the right vehicle is set up before the driver arrives in Coconut Grove.
Your slot is locked in and held just for you. For a service happening within the next 24 hours, a driver and vehicle are already set aside. On such short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund, so the booking goes ahead as agreed. You can always add more hours on the day.
Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.
| By the hour with us | App rides (Uber / Lyft) |
|---|---|
| One flat hourly rate, locked before you start | A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak |
| The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day | A different car and a stranger at every pickup |
| Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book | Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop |
| A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur | Whoever happens to accept the ping |
Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.
