Transfer from Coconut Grove to Miami Hurricanes vs Virginia Tech Hokies at Hard Rock Stadium

Our private hourly chauffeur from Coconut Grove to Miami Hurricanes vs Virginia Tech Hokies at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, November 21, 2026, has a 5-hour minimum and uses a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, locked when you book. Kickoff is listed for 7:00 PM. One bilingual driver takes your group from any address in Coconut Grove to Miami Gardens and back, and the car is private and never shared.

How Much Does a Private Chauffeur From Coconut Grove to the Game Cost? 🚙

Rates are per vehicle, per hour, and every booking runs at least five hours.

  • Up to 5 passengers — Black SUV XL: $100/hour
  • 6 to 9 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $120/hour
  • 10 to 14 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $140/hour
  • Platinum SUV, 1 to 5 passengers: $140/hour

You pay for the whole vehicle, not for each seat. A large group that fills one Mercedes-Benz Sprinter splits one hourly rate instead of paying for several cars going north separately. The clock starts when the chauffeur picks you up in Coconut Grove and stops at the last drop-off of the night. That means the pregame hours, the game and the ride home all fit into one simple total. Choose your tier by group size; the vehicle guide further down shows which one suits your group. On a night game, the only other charge to plan for is the after-hours surcharge, explained next.

Is There a Night Surcharge After a 7:00 PM Kickoff? 🎆

Yes. Trips outside daytime hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM carry the surcharge below.

  • SUV (1-5 passengers): +$50 USD surcharge for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Van (6-14 passengers): +10% surcharge over the hourly total for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

SUV bookings get one add-on per journey. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bookings add a percentage of the journey value, as listed above. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. Night games are a big part of college football in South Florida, and this is how we price evening service: short, fixed and shown before you book. Send your pickup time and group size on WhatsApp, and your booking confirmation will show the evening add-on for your vehicle next to the hourly total.

How Do You Get to Hard Rock Stadium From Coconut Grove? 🏟️

A private chauffeur drives your group north from Coconut Grove to Miami Gardens.

The drive crosses much of Miami-Dade, and traffic on game day follows its own patterns, so a local driver makes a real difference. On a quiet evening the drive typically takes well under an hour. On a Hurricanes Saturday, allow well over an hour, because traffic toward the stadium builds long before kickoff and the last stretch slows as the lots fill. Your chauffeur checks live traffic before leaving the Grove and changes route as needed, so nobody in the back seat has to watch a map. The ride becomes part of the pregame: jerseys on, music up, snacks passed around and everyone already talking about the game. Visiting Virginia Tech fans in maroon and burnt orange get the same simple ride north, with a driver who is happy to talk local football the whole way. When you arrive, all that’s left is finding your seats.

Which Highways Does the Chauffeur Take From Coconut Grove to Miami Gardens?

On most game days, the chauffeur leaves the Grove on US-1 toward Brickell, gets on I-95 northbound and follows it toward the north end of the county. If I-95 backs up, the other option is to head west to the Palmetto Expressway and go north on Florida’s Turnpike. Your driver picks whichever route is moving better on the day.

When Should Your Group Leave Coconut Grove on Game Saturday? 🕴️

For the 7:00 PM kickoff on Saturday, November 21, plan to leave Coconut Grove by mid-afternoon.

Leaving early covers the heavy traffic heading north and leaves time for a relaxed walk in. It also lets your group enjoy the pregame scene in the lots, where music, grills and school spirit build for hours before the teams run out. Groups who only care about kickoff can leave later in the afternoon, but on a big ACC Saturday the early start pays off. The 2026 game is also billed as Miami’s Salute to Service game, so expect a pregame ceremony that many fans want to see from their seats. Check the official Hard Rock Stadium site for arrival guidance for the evening before you head out. With a chauffeur booked, you only need to set three things on WhatsApp ahead of time: a pickup time in the Grove, a drop-off when you arrive and a meeting point for the ride home.

Where Will the Chauffeur Drop Your Group at the Stadium?

Your chauffeur brings the group as close to the venue as access allows on game day. That is usually the drop-off point where traffic staff direct cars. The exact spot changes with the traffic plan for the evening, so the driver confirms it on the way in and sends you the meeting point for after the game before you walk in.

Can the Driver Wait Through the Whole Game on a College Saturday?

Yes. Waiting is what an hourly booking is for. The same driver and vehicle stay nearby for all four quarters. When the game ends, send a WhatsApp message and walk to the agreed meeting point. Nobody has to hunt for a ride through a stadium-sized crowd, because your car back to the Grove is already waiting.

Where Does the Driver Pick You Up in Coconut Grove? 🌆

The chauffeur picks up your group at any address in Coconut Grove you choose.

Hotel guests usually meet the car at the front entrance of The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Mr. C Coconut Grove or Mayfair House, where the driver can pull up without circling the block. Residents are picked up at the door, whether they live in a house off Main Highway, a condo on South Bayshore Drive or a townhome near Grand Avenue. Boaters and marina guests can meet the car near Dinner Key. Groups having a late lunch can be picked up outside the restaurant once they’ve paid. You choose the spot when you book, and a quick WhatsApp message tells everyone the car has arrived. The Grove’s leafy side streets and busy weekend sidewalks create curbside pickup tricky if you don’t know them, so your driver finds the easiest place for the whole group to get in. Everyone boards together and the group heads north as one.

Can Friends Staying in Brickell or Coral Gables Join the Pickup?

Yes. You set the stops, so the chauffeur can pick up friends in Brickell, Coral Gables or elsewhere in the city before heading north. Add each address when you book so the driver can plan the order. The extra pickups simply use part of your booked hours, and there is no separate fare for each stop.

What Should You Do in Coconut Grove Before Kickoff? 🍸

A long lunch in the Grove is the classic way to start a night game.

Monty’s Raw Bar puts your group on the water with seafood and bay views. Greenstreet Cafe on Commodore Plaza is a longtime sidewalk favorite for people-watching, and Glass & Vine sits inside Peacock Park under the trees. For a quick, casual bite before the drive, Harry’s Pizza and the restaurants around CocoWalk are simple picks for families with kids and grandparents. Because you book by the hour, the chauffeur waits outside while the table orders one more round, then loads everyone up when you’re ready. Alumni groups often meet in the Grove, arriving from different parts of town and leaving together in one vehicle. These are ideas for your booked hours, not reservations we create. Book the table yourself and offer the restaurant name to your driver.

Can the Chauffeur Stop in Little Havana or Brickell on the Way?

Yes. You control the itinerary, so a stop for Cuban coffee and pastries in Little Havana or a drink on a Brickell rooftop fits easily between the Grove and the highway. Tell the driver your plan when you book, keep an eye on the time before kickoff, and the car waits outside each stop.

Why Did the Miami–Virginia Tech Game Move to a Saturday? 🎊

Miami Athletics confirmed that the game moved from a Friday night to Saturday, November 21.

Hurricanes fans welcomed the switch. A late-season Friday slot would have meant rushing across town after work, while a Saturday leaves the whole day free for the ACC game. For groups in Coconut Grove, the change leaves room for a long lunch, a slow afternoon and a relaxed drive north instead of fighting weekday traffic. It also makes the journey easier for families with school-age kids, visiting Virginia Tech fans and alumni flying in for the weekend. If your group had started planning around Friday, now is a good time to set the Saturday pickup time and stops with us. College football schedules can still change slightly, so watch for official Miami Athletics announcements as the date gets closer. Your chauffeur booking follows the date and pickup time you confirm with us, and the driver adjusts the day’s plan to the final schedule.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Hurricanes Game-Day Crew? 🚐

Four private vehicle tiers cover everything from a small family to a full alumni group.

  • Black SUV XL: seats up to 5. An easy choice for a couple, a young family or a few friends going to the game together.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: seats 6 to 9 passengers, with room to stretch out and ride together as one group.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: seats 10 to 14 passengers. Sized for alumni chapters, watch-party groups and families traveling with several generations.
  • Platinum SUV: seats up to 5 in a polished executive-class cabin for hosts treating guests to the game. Reference Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition

Every vehicle arrives clean and ready, with one chauffeur for the whole booking. Choose by group size first and comfort second. The larger Sprinter keeps a big group in one vehicle, so nobody gets split into a second car or left waiting at the end of the night.

What’s Included in the Hourly Rate on Game Day? 📋

Fuel, tolls and parking are included in the hourly rate on game day.

That matters on a stadium night, when event parking and highway tolls add up quickly for anyone driving themselves. Fuel and tolls for any extra stops you add along the way are covered too. The vehicle has onboard WiFi through a mobile hotspot, which is handy for checking the pregame lineup or posting photos from the lots. A short stop for the restroom, a snack or a stretch is simple during the booking; just ask the driver, and it does not change the rate. There is room for what fans usually bring, like a cooler, signs and team merchandise; tell us in advance if you’re bringing something big. The only charges that can be added to the hourly total are the evening surcharge described above and any extra hours you choose to add.

How Does Payment Work for a Game-Day Booking? 🥂

You pay in one step, arranged over WhatsApp: the full fare when you book.

  • Accepted methods: card or Apple Pay through the secure checkout on the site, or a Stripe payment link sent over WhatsApp.
  • Payment: The full fare, paid at booking, locks in your Saturday.
  • Hours: Bookings have a 5-hour minimum, and you can keep the car longer at any time. Every hour after the 5-hour block is added at the same flat per-hour rate, with no renegotiated fare, and you settle it after the night is over.

Why Book a Private Chauffeur for a Hurricanes Night Game? 🕴️

Your group gets a premium service built around one private vehicle and one driver.

The car is reserved only for your party, and one chauffeur stays with you for the whole booking. The same person picks you up in the Grove and brings you home. Your bilingual driver makes it simple for families who speak different languages and for visiting guests to ask questions, change plans or just talk football. The flat hourly rate is locked when you book. There is no surge on a packed Saturday and the price doesn’t go up when traffic crawls. You can reach us and your driver directly on WhatsApp, so adding a stop or changing the meeting point takes one message, even from inside a loud stadium. It’s a better experience than managing cars, parking lots and exit traffic on your own. Everyone celebrates or commiserates together, and the night ends at your door instead of at a distant parking space.

Which Facts Should You Know Before Booking a Game-Day Chauffeur? 📋

  • Every reservation covers at least five hours with the same vehicle and driver.
  • The chauffeur stays with your group from the first pickup to the last drop-off.
  • Drivers speak English and Spanish, so every guest is understood.
  • Service is available 24/7, including late returns after a night game.
  • Your group sets the stops, the order, and the pace of the day.
  • Bookings, stop changes, and extra hours are arranged directly over WhatsApp.

How Does Booking a Chauffeur by the Hour Work for a Game Day? 🚙

You reserve one vehicle and one driver for a block of at least five hours.

Choose the tier for your group size. Then send us the group size, a rough start time and your list of stops on WhatsApp; you decide every stop. The driver can pick up at any Miami address agreed at booking: a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal (a cruise-day arrival can go straight to the game), Miami International Airport or a home. Most game-day groups on this route start in Coconut Grove. After pickup, the chauffeur stays with you for the whole booking: lunch, pregame stops, the wait at the venue during the game and the ride home. A 7:00 PM kickoff plus the drive both ways can easily go past the first five hours, and that’s fine. After the five-hour block, each extra hour is added at the same per-hour rate. You keep the car as long as you need and settle the extra time after the day.

Can We Book a Game-Day Chauffeur Within 24 Hours of Kickoff?

Yes, if a car and driver are available. For a service within the next 24 hours, once the day and time are agreed, that slot is locked in and held for you, with a driver and vehicle already set aside. The booking then goes ahead as agreed, because on such short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund. You can always add more hours on the day.

Is Private Transportation Available From Coconut Grove to Miami Hurricanes vs Virginia Tech Hokies? 🏟️

Yes. A private SUV or Sprinter with a chauffeur can take you from Coconut Grove to the game.

People searching for a game-day van or a ride to Miami Gardens want exactly this: a vehicle booked for one group, with no strangers on board and no fixed timetable. Students going with friends, alumni meeting up for a big ACC Saturday, families of all ages in orange and green, and visiting fans in maroon and burnt orange all book the same way. You stay in control: your departure time, your stops, your music, and a ride home that leaves when your group is ready rather than on someone else’s schedule. Many groups book the car for the whole Saturday, from lunch in the Grove to the last goodbye at the door. The questions below cover what Coconut Grove riders ask most before they book, from van sizes for alumni groups to how far the service goes.

Can Alumni Groups Book a Van From Coconut Grove for Game Day?

Yes. Alumni chapters and reunion groups usually choose one of the two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter tiers, which keep everyone in one private van from the Grove to the game and back. Send your group size and pickup plan on WhatsApp, and we’ll confirm the right Sprinter for your group.

Do We Still Need a Designated Driver on Game Night?

No. With a chauffeur booked by the hour, nobody in the group has to drive, miss the pregame fun or face the drive home after a late finish. Everyone rides up together, enjoys the game and rides back to Coconut Grove while the chauffeur deals with the roads, the traffic and the parking.

Can Visiting Virginia Tech Fans Staying in Coconut Grove Book a Chauffeur?

Yes. Hokies fans staying at a hotel or vacation home in the Grove book the same way locals do: send your group size, your pickup address and any stops you want before the game. The chauffeur drives the unfamiliar highways, so out-of-town fans can enjoy their Miami weekend without learning the roads or paying for event parking.

Does the Hourly Service Stay Around the Miami Area?

Yes. This is a local, on-call service that stays around the city. It covers Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana and the area around Miami International Airport, plus nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. The hourly service doesn’t go to farther destinations such as Naples, Orlando or West Palm Beach.

Can We Bring a Pet Along to the Game-Day Pickup?

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice. Mention it when you send your group size and pickup address.

Booking a Chauffeur for the Day vs. Stacking App Rides

Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.

By the hour with us App rides (Uber / Lyft)
One flat hourly rate, locked before you start A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak
The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day A different car and a stranger at every pickup
Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop
A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur Whoever happens to accept the ping

Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

For international flights, the courtesy time is up to 120 minutes.

For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace period.

For port pickups, we wait up to 60 minutes past the agreed time.

⏳ What happens when a passenger takes more than two hours to leave the airport?

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

👜 Does the driver help with luggage?

Yes. Our drivers help load and unload your bags.

📦 Do you accept extra or oversized baggage?

The standard allowance includes one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

Traveling with larger or additional items — extra suitcases, musical instruments, mobility equipment, or strollers? Contact us in advance so we can arrange the necessary space. An additional fee may apply.

🐾 Can I bring my dog or cat in the vehicle?

We’re sorry — pets are not accepted on any of our services. Certified service animals are welcome: please tell us in advance and we’ll assign a van for the ride.

🥤 Can I eat or drink during the ride?

We ask that you don’t eat during the trip. Only water in sealed bottles is allowed on board.

🚧 Can we make a quick stop during the ride?

With by-the-hour service, stops are included: the vehicle is yours for the hours you book.

🕒 Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Yes. The pickup time and other details (an extra passenger) can be changed until 24 hours before the ride, depending on availability. Within 24 hours of the ride there are no changes and no refunds — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what we can do. The travel date itself is fixed once booked.

💲 Are there additional charges beyond the quoted price?

No hidden fees: the quoted price includes the driver, fuel and tolls. Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.

❌ What is your cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.

Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
