Transfer from Coconut Grove to Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks at Kaseya Center

Our private hourly chauffeur takes your group from Coconut Grove to Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks at Kaseya Center on Saturday, December 12, 2026, in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. Your bilingual driver picks you up in the Grove, gets you downtown before the 8:00 PM tip-off, and keeps the same car ready for the ride home.

How Much Does a Private Chauffeur From Coconut Grove Cost for Game Night? 🚙

Rates are set per vehicle and per hour, and every booking covers at least five hours.

  • Up to 5 passengers — Black SUV XL: $100/hour
  • 6 to 9 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $120/hour
  • 10 to 14 passengers — Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: $140/hour
  • Platinum SUV, 1 to 5 passengers: $140/hour

The rate is for the vehicle, not for each seat, so friends going to the game together can split one hourly cost however they like. For a night game, the five-hour block usually runs from an early-evening pickup in Coconut Grove through dinner, the game and the drive home. The Platinum SUV tier suits a group that wants a more polished arrival, such as a birthday outing or an evening with clients downtown.

How Do You Get to Kaseya Center From Coconut Grove on December 12? 🏟️

Your chauffeur drives north from Coconut Grove through Brickell and into Downtown Miami, right to the arena.

On a quiet evening, the drive from the Grove to downtown is short and easy, along the bay. December 12 won’t be a quiet evening. It’s a Saturday, tip-off is at 8:00 PM, and fans from across South Florida will head for Biscayne Boulevard at the same time, so the same drive usually takes longer than normal. Your chauffeur watches live traffic from the moment you get in and changes the route as conditions change, so you can talk about matchups instead of watching the clock. Check the event listing on the official Kaseya Center site for any arena announcements before you leave home. The only thing you need to plan is when to walk out the door. Everything between your Coconut Grove pickup and the arena is the driver’s job.

Which roads does a chauffeur take from Coconut Grove to Downtown Miami?

Most game-night drives go north on South Bayshore Drive and Brickell Avenue, cross the Miami River and finish along Biscayne Boulevard near the arena. If the bayside streets back up, the chauffeur can switch to US-1 and I-95. You never have to choose the route. The driver reads the traffic and takes whichever way is moving better that night.

Where in Coconut Grove does the driver pick you up?

The driver picks you up at any address in Coconut Grove you choose. That could be a hotel lobby on South Bayshore Drive, a home on one of the Grove’s shaded side streets, a condo entrance, or a spot near CocoWalk if your group is already out. You name the place when you book, and the car is there at the agreed time.

Where Does the Driver Drop You Off and Collect You at Kaseya Center? 🏟️

The chauffeur drops your group as close to the arena as game-night access allows.

Downtown streets around Biscayne Boulevard fill up in the hour before an 8:00 PM tip-off, as fans arrive on foot, by car, and from neighboring bars and restaurants. The easiest way to beat that rush is to leave the Grove with time to spare, or to eat downtown first so the last part of the drive is short. Your driver pulls up at the best available drop-off point, lets everyone out together, and then parks neighboring instead of circling the block. The car waits there for your group all game. That’s the real advantage of booking by the hour for an arena night: the car stays downtown, so there’s no second ride to arrange and no worrying about how the group gets home once the arena empties.

Can the driver wait during the whole game?

Yes. Your booked hours keep the chauffeur on duty downtown from tip-off to the final buzzer, parked nearby instead of leaving for another job. If someone wants to leave at halftime, or the group decides to stay for the post-game buzz, one WhatsApp message tells the driver when to bring the car around.

How does your group find the car after the final buzzer?

Before you go in, agree on a pickup point with the driver. It’s usually the drop-off point or a nearby street where the car can pull in more easily after the game. Send a WhatsApp message as you leave your seats. The chauffeur brings the car to that spot, and everyone gets in together without hunting through a garage.

Where Should You Eat in Coconut Grove Before Heat vs. Knicks? 🍸

Coconut Grove has bayfront seafood, sidewalk cafes and busy courtyards for a pre-game dinner.

CocoWalk is the obvious meeting point, with open-air restaurants and bars around a courtyard where a group can gather before heading out. Neighboring, Commodore Plaza and Main Highway have sidewalk spots such as Greenstreet Cafe, a Grove staple for relaxed dinners outdoors. For a view of the water, Monty’s Raw Bar sits right on the bay and suits a group that wants seafood and a drink before the drive downtown. Glass & Vine, inside Peacock Park under the trees, is calmer and works well for families. The car stays with you while you eat, so nobody has to park twice or keep checking the time, and the chauffeur tells you when it’s time to head for the arena. These are suggestions from a driver who knows the neighborhood, not reservations we create, so book your table directly with the restaurant.

Can the chauffeur stop in Brickell on the way to the game?

Yes. Brickell is right on the route between the Grove and downtown, so a quick stop at Mary Brickell Village or a rooftop bar along Brickell Avenue fits in easily. Tell the driver when you’re ready to move on, keep an eye on the time before tip-off, and the car picks everyone up where it dropped you.

Is there time for a post-game stop before heading home?

Usually, yes, as long as your booked hours cover it or you add time. Many groups end the night back in the Grove along Main Highway, or stop in Little Havana for a late bite on the way home. Tell the chauffeur where you want to go, and the evening keeps going at your pace.

Why Is Heat vs. Knicks on December 12 Such a Big Night in Miami? 🎊

Heat vs. Knicks is a classic rivalry, and this is New York’s only regular-season game in Miami.

The rivalry goes back to hard-fought playoff battles decades ago, and more recent postseason meetings have given a new generation of fans a reason to care. This year the Knicks come in as defending champions, which makes a regular-season Saturday one of the most anticipated home games on the Heat’s calendar. Expect a loud, packed building and a downtown that stays busy long after the final horn. The crowd looks like Miami itself: Cuban-American families, Venezuelan, Colombian and Puerto Rican fans, a deep and loyal Black fan base, visitors from abroad, and a loud group of Knicks fans who create the trip south. Many groups create a full night of it, starting with dinner and ending with drinks, which is why a chauffeur who stays for the whole evening suits this game.

Why Do Coconut Grove Fans Choose a Private Chauffeur for Game Night? 🕴️

A private chauffeur gives your group one premium vehicle and one driver for the whole night.

The vehicle is reserved for your group alone, so the only people in it are the ones you invited. Your chauffeur speaks English and Spanish, which makes planning easy for families and friends who use both languages. The hourly rate is flat and locked in when you book, with no surge when every fan in the city wants a ride at the same time. The same driver stays with you from the Grove pickup to the last stop and waits through the game instead of leaving after the drop-off. You reach us directly on WhatsApp, not through a call center or an app, so questions about timing, stops or an extra hour get a real answer from people who know Miami. The result is a better experience: premium service built around your evening, a peaceful ride in a clean vehicle, and one less thing to think about on a big night.

Does a Night Surcharge Apply to the Ride Home After the Game? 🌆

The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking.

  • SUV (1-5 passengers): +$50 USD surcharge for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Van (6-14 passengers): +10% surcharge over the hourly total for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

The two surcharges work differently. With an SUV, it’s one fixed amount per trip, not a charge added to every hour. With a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, it’s a percentage of the trip value, so it grows with the size of the booking. Either way, you know the amount before the night starts because it follows the fixed rules above. Both amounts are listed here in full, so the final total won’t surprise anyone.

How Is the Booking Paid, and How Are Extra Hours Settled? 📋

Payment is simple: the full fare, paid at booking, reserves the date.

  • Accepted methods: card or Apple Pay through the secure checkout on the site, or a Stripe payment link sent to you on WhatsApp.
  • Payment: The full fare is paid at booking and locks in your date.
  • Hours: There’s a 5-hour minimum, and you can keep the car longer at any point. Every hour after the five-hour block is added at the same flat per-hour rate, never a renegotiated fare, and you settle it once the night is over.

What Is Included in the Hourly Rate for an Arena Night? 🥂

Fuel, tolls and parking are all included in the hourly rate you book.

That matters downtown, where event-night parking is the cost most fans dread, and it means the car can stay neighboring without adding anything to your bill. There’s room for what fans usually bring, like signs, jerseys or a bag of team merch, so just tell us in advance if you’re bringing something big. The only charges that can be added on top of the hourly rate are the night surcharge described above, and any hours you add beyond your block. Every one of them is listed on this page, so you can plan the evening knowing the full cost.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group From Coconut Grove? 🚐

Four private vehicle tiers cover every group size, starting with the Black SUV XL.

  • Black SUV XL: up to 5 passengers, the natural pick for a couple, a few friends or a small family going to the game.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: 6 to 9 passengers, so a bigger group of friends can ride together instead of splitting up across cars.
  • Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, larger configuration: 10 to 14 passengers, for a full crew, an office outing or two families traveling together.
  • Platinum SUV: 1 to 5 passengers in an upscale full-size luxury SUV. Reference Cars: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition

Every tier is a private vehicle that always comes with our chauffeur. There’s no self-drive option, and no seat is ever sold to anyone outside your group. If your headcount changes after you book, message us and we’ll switch you to the right vehicle whenever availability allows.

Need the Short Version of How Our Chauffeur Service Runs? 📋

  • One private vehicle and one chauffeur stay with your group for the whole booking.
  • Every chauffeur is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish with your group.
  • The service runs 24/7, every day, for daytime and evening bookings.
  • You set the stops and the pace, and the plan can change mid-booking.
  • Onboard WiFi runs through a mobile hotspot in every vehicle.
  • A brief comfort stop is easy to add and doesn’t change the flat rate.
  • You arrange and confirm every booking directly with us over WhatsApp.

How Does Booking a Chauffeur by the Hour Work for Game Day? 🚙

You choose a vehicle and reserve a five-hour block, and the same chauffeur stays with you the whole time.

Start with a WhatsApp message that includes your group size, a rough start time and the stops you have in mind, whether that’s dinner in the Grove, a drink in Brickell or straight to the game. We match you to the right vehicle and lock in the date once the fare is paid. Your hours start at pickup. For this game that’s usually a Coconut Grove address, but the driver can pick you up anywhere in Miami: a hotel, a PortMiami cruise terminal if you’re coming off a cruise that day and want to go straight to the game, Miami International Airport, or a home. The exact pickup spot is agreed at booking. After that, the plan is yours. You decide when to leave dinner, whether to add a stop and when to head home, while the chauffeur handles the driving, the waiting and the timing.

What happens if overtime pushes the night past your booked hours?

You just keep the car. Every hour after the five-hour block is added at your vehicle’s same flat per-hour rate, never a renegotiated fare, and you settle it after the night instead of paying on the spot. Stay for overtime, take your time over a late bite or add one more stop, and the chauffeur stays with you whenever the schedule allows.

Can you book a ride to the game on short notice?

Yes. If you book within 24 hours of the ride, your slot is locked in and held just for you. A driver and vehicle are already set aside for you, so the date and time go ahead exactly as agreed. On that short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund. You can still add more hours on the day.

Is There Private Transportation From Coconut Grove to Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks? 🏟️

Yes. Our private hourly chauffeur covers this exact trip, and your group rides alone.

People frequently search for a private shuttle to the arena. What we offer is a private van or SUV reserved only for your group, never a seat in a vehicle full of strangers. There’s no fixed departure time and no set route. The car leaves Coconut Grove when your group is ready, stops where you ask, and doesn’t wait for anyone else. That matters on a busy Saturday, when downtown curbs get crowded after the game. It also keeps the evening private in a practical way: your conversations, your plans for the rest of the night and your pickup address stay between you and one chauffeur. Whether it’s a birthday, a night with clients or the kids’ first game, every group gets the same private setup, sized to the number of people.

How early should we leave Coconut Grove for the 8:00 PM tip-off?

Leave the Grove with plenty of time before tip-off, and earlier still if you’re having dinner first. Saturday traffic and a full downtown crowd usually slow down the short drive, so most groups plan the pickup around their dinner reservation rather than the game. Share your plan on WhatsApp and the chauffeur will suggest a pickup time that works.

How many people fit in the private van from Coconut Grove?

Our private van is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and it comes in two sizes so both mid-size groups and large ones get the right fit. The seat count for each size is listed in the vehicle section above, along with the Black SUV XL and Platinum SUV. Send your headcount on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you which vehicle fits.

Does the hourly chauffeur cover other Miami neighborhoods?

Yes. The hourly service stays local and on call around the city: Miami, Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana and the area around Miami International Airport, plus nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. We keep this relaxed hourly service close to home rather than running it out to Naples, Orlando or West Palm Beach.

Can we bring a pet along in the car?

Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice. One quick message is all it takes to sort it out before the night.

Booking a Chauffeur for the Day vs. Stacking App Rides

Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.

By the hour with us App rides (Uber / Lyft)
One flat hourly rate, locked before you start A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak
The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day A different car and a stranger at every pickup
Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop
A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur Whoever happens to accept the ping

Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

Whether it’s a birthday, the kids’ first game, a night out with clients or a group of lifelong Heat fans, one chauffeur and one car cover the whole night on December 12, so all you have to do is show up ready to cheer.

📍 Do you offer meet-and-greet at the airport?

We primarily work with curbside pickup. Just send a message with your exit gate and the driver will arrive in a few minutes — usually faster than the traditional sign-holding service.

The day before your trip, we’ll send you a message with the driver’s name, vehicle model, and license plate, along with detailed instructions for curbside pickup.

📞 What do I do if I can't reach my driver?

For domestic flights, we offer up to 60 minutes of wait time after arrival.

For international flights, the courtesy time is up to 120 minutes.

For hotel pickups, there’s a 15-minute grace period.

For port pickups, we wait up to 60 minutes past the agreed time.

⏳ What happens when a passenger takes more than two hours to leave the airport?

Two hours is the free wait for international flights. When your free waiting time ends, extra waiting is not automatic: your driver may text you an offer to keep waiting, but is not required to. If the offer is sent, the driver waits up to 10 minutes for your reply; if you don’t accept in that time, the driver may leave. If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

👜 Does the driver help with luggage?

Yes. Our drivers help load and unload your bags.

📦 Do you accept extra or oversized baggage?

The standard allowance includes one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.

Traveling with larger or additional items — extra suitcases, musical instruments, mobility equipment, or strollers? Contact us in advance so we can arrange the necessary space. An additional fee may apply.

🐾 Can I bring my dog or cat in the vehicle?

We’re sorry — pets are not accepted on any of our services. Certified service animals are welcome: please tell us in advance and we’ll assign a van for the ride.

🥤 Can I eat or drink during the ride?

We ask that you don’t eat during the trip. Only water in sealed bottles is allowed on board.

🚧 Can we make a quick stop during the ride?

With by-the-hour service, stops are included: the vehicle is yours for the hours you book.

🕒 Can I change my pickup time after booking?

Yes. The pickup time and other details (an extra passenger) can be changed until 24 hours before the ride, depending on availability. Within 24 hours of the ride there are no changes and no refunds — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll see what we can do. The travel date itself is fixed once booked.

💲 Are there additional charges beyond the quoted price?

No hidden fees: the quoted price includes the driver, fuel and tolls. Only optional extras add to it — the night-hours fee shown in your quote before you book, the optional Meet & Greet at Miami International Airport and the 4% processing fee on card payments made through the payment link. Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.

❌ What is your cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.

Note: any refund claim — including a driver no-show or another service issue — must reach us within 30 days of your scheduled pickup. Requests made more than a month after the ride date are no longer eligible for review or refund.
