Our private hourly chauffeur takes your group from Coconut Grove to Miami Comedy Festival at Hard Rock Live on January 16, 2027, in a Black SUV XL at a flat rate from $100 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum. One bilingual driver picks you up anywhere in the Grove, heads north well before the 8:00 PM show, and brings everyone home afterward. You don’t have to find parking, and there’s no surge pricing.
You pay per vehicle, per hour, and every booking starts with a block of five hours. Select the tier that fits your group:
Each rate covers the whole vehicle, not each seat. Four friends in the Black SUV XL pay the same hourly rate as five. The block starts when your chauffeur meets you in Coconut Grove, and you keep the car until the last drop-off back home. Larger parties who want everyone in one cabin usually move up to a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Couples and small groups who want a more polished arrival often pick the Platinum SUV. The night fee depends only on the pickup time: for pickups between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM the SUV adds $50 (vans +10% of the hourly total), once per booking. Read the night-surcharge section further down before you select a tier, because it’s the main add-on to plan for on a night like this.
Your chauffeur drives north from Coconut Grove on I-95, then heads west into Hollywood.
The theater is inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, just across the Broward County line. That makes the trip a straight run north. From the Grove, the driver usually takes South Bayshore Drive or US-1 past Brickell to I-95 northbound. From there the route passes Downtown Miami and the northern suburbs, then exits west toward State Road 7, where the resort’s tall hotel tower is easy to spot. On a Saturday evening, the interstate carries weekend traffic plus everyone else heading to the resort, so allow plenty of extra time. Nobody in your group has to merge, read signs, or skip a drink to drive home late. You sit back, trade favorite bits from the comics on the bill, and let your chauffeur handle the driving.
The chauffeur takes a different route north. The usual alternative is the Palmetto Expressway into Florida’s Turnpike. State Road 7 can also work for the last stretch if the interstate exits are backed up. Your driver checks live traffic before leaving the Grove and adjusts along the way, so the group arrives together and nobody has to watch a map app.
It’s an annual stand-up show that comes to South Florida every January.
The Miami Comedy Festival brings several nationally known touring comics to Hard Rock Live on Saturday, January 16, 2027, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. The festival comes from the urban comedy tradition, and for many South Florida fans it’s a mid-January tradition. People plan the whole evening around it, from the dinner reservation to the new outfit, and the group chat starts weeks ahead. Expect a big, loud theater where the energy builds with each set. The crowd is mostly adults on a night out: friends getting back together, birthday groups, couples on a date, and coworkers celebrating. In past years the lineup has grown in the weeks before the show, so check the official listing for the final lineup. You buy tickets through the event listing. We provide the private car and the chauffeur who get your group there and back.
A comedy night runs late and usually includes drinks. With a private car, nobody has to be the designated driver. Your group arrives together, leaves together, and keeps laughing on the ride home. Nobody has to split into separate cars or face a long drive back down I-95 late at night.
Leave the Grove early enough to be in your seats well before 8:00 PM.
Work backward from the start time, not forward from dinner. A Saturday at the resort is busy even without the show. Hotel guests, casino visitors, diners, and a full theater crowd all arrive around the same time. After drop-off you still have to walk through the resort to the theater, go through any entry checks, find your seats, and get a first drink. Most groups get the timing right with an early dinner in Coconut Grove, then leave straight from the restaurant. That way the drive is part of the night, not a rush. Send your dinner reservation time over WhatsApp, and your chauffeur will suggest a departure time that allows for weekend traffic on I-95. Arriving early also means you see the opening act, which at a show with several comics is often where the room warms up.
Your chauffeur drops the group at the resort drop-off point nearest the theater entrance, as close to the venue as access allows that night. If resort staff redirect traffic on a busy evening, the driver adjusts. The driver confirms the exact curb with you on WhatsApp and agrees on a matching pickup spot for after the show.
Yes. The car and chauffeur are reserved for you for the whole block, so the driver stays nearby while the comics are on stage. When the last set ends, send a WhatsApp message. The driver brings the vehicle to the agreed pickup spot, and the group heads back to Coconut Grove together without having to look for a ride.
The chauffeur picks you up at any address in Coconut Grove you select when you book.
That could be a bayfront hotel lobby on South Bayshore Drive, a house on a quiet, tree-lined street off Main Highway, an apartment near CocoWalk, or the marinas around Dinner Key. Pickup can also be the restaurant itself, so the night starts at the dinner table. You set the stops, so picking up friends along the way is easy. Collect one couple in the Grove, stop in Brickell or Coral Gables for the next, then head north as one group. Some Grove streets are narrow, especially for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. In that case the chauffeur picks the best spot nearby and messages you on WhatsApp when the vehicle is waiting outside. Nobody has to stand on the sidewalk guessing which car is theirs.
The Grove’s bayfront and village center are an easy place to have dinner before the show.
Monty’s Raw Bar, right on the water, is a longtime local favorite for a seafood platter and a cold drink with a view of the boats. Glass & Vine in Peacock Park suits groups who want a relaxed garden setting before a big night. The village center around CocoWalk, Commodore Plaza, and Main Highway has enough restaurants and bars that a mixed group can find something for everyone within a short walk. The chauffeur drops you at the door, waits with the car while you eat, and is ready when the check is paid. Nobody circles for parking or hurries back to a garage. These are only ideas for your booked hours, and you reserve your own table. If you’d rather go somewhere else, the driver will plan the evening around it and head north toward Hollywood after dessert.
Downtown Hollywood, around Hollywood Boulevard and Young Circle, has taphouses, casual grills, and neighborhood bars close to the resort. The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk adds places right on the ocean. The resort itself has many restaurants and lounges under one roof. Your chauffeur can stop at any of them on the way in.
Yes, you choose the stops. Fans of retro cocktails sometimes add the Mai-Kai, the well-known Polynesian landmark up in the Fort Lauderdale area. Beer lovers can add one of Broward’s craft breweries. Tell your chauffeur the plan when you book, and the route will include it before or after the show.
Fuel, tolls, and parking are all included in the hourly rate.
On this trip, any tolls on the way north and parking at the resort are part of the rate, so you won’t see them as separate charges at the end. The vehicle has onboard WiFi through a mobile hotspot, which helps when you’re pulling up digital tickets or sharing photos on the way home. If someone needs a quick restroom, snack, or stretch break during the booking, just ask the driver. One short comfort stop is easy to fit in and doesn’t change the flat rate. There are two add-ons to plan for: the night surcharge if it applies, explained below, and any extra hours you decide to keep the car.
Pick the vehicle by group size, starting with the Black SUV XL for smaller groups.
The reference cars are examples of the vehicle class, so the exact model on your night may differ. A group that falls between tiers can select between the Platinum SUV and the smaller Sprinter, depending on whether they want a sleeker look or more space. If you’re bringing something large, like a gift or a sign for the birthday guest, tell us in advance so the chauffeur can plan the space.
Daytime hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no surcharge. The surcharge depends on the vehicle type:
For the SUV it’s a fixed amount per trip. For the van it’s a percentage of the trip value. Both are listed above, so you know the full cost of the evening before you pay.
You pay the full fare when you book, using one of three methods.
You reserve one vehicle and one chauffeur for a block of hours, then plan the night however you like.
Start by sending your group size, a rough start time, and the stops you want on WhatsApp. We match the vehicle to your group and confirm the plan. Pickup can be any Miami address agreed when you book: a hotel, a home, Miami International Airport, or a PortMiami cruise terminal, so you can go straight from a cruise arrival to the show. For this event it’s usually an address in Coconut Grove. From pickup on, the same car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole block, through dinner, any drink stops, the drive north, the show, and the ride home. You can add a stop, skip one, or stay longer at dinner. After the first five hours, each extra hour is added at the same per-hour rate with no new fare to negotiate. If you want the car for a late nightcap in Hollywood or back in the Grove, just keep it.
Within the last 24 hours, your date and time are locked in and held just for you, because a driver and vehicle are already set aside for your group. On such short notice we can’t guarantee a date change or a refund, so the booking goes ahead as agreed. You can still add more hours on the day itself.
They get a private vehicle reserved only for their group and the same chauffeur all night.
You never share the car with strangers, and you never have to explain the plan to a new driver halfway through the evening. Your bilingual chauffeur meets you in Coconut Grove, gets to know the group over dinner and the drive, waits through the event, and is the same person who drives you home. The flat hourly rate is locked when you book. A sold-out Saturday crowd or slow traffic on I-95 never raises the price, because there is no surge. Questions go straight to our team on WhatsApp, and you get real answers. With clean, comfortable premium vehicles and one chauffeur who stays with you, you get a better experience from the first drink in the Grove to the ride home. It’s premium service for a night you’ve been looking forward to for weeks.
Yes. You get a private SUV or Sprinter reserved only for your group, from your door to the show and back.
Whether you search for a ride to the festival, a private van for the night, or a driver for the evening, the answer is the same. You get one private vehicle with our chauffeur driving, hired by the hour and never shared with another group. Every vehicle comes with a driver, and on a night out that’s the point. If you drive yourselves, someone has to stay sober, someone has to find parking at a busy resort, and someone has to make the late drive back to Miami while everyone else sleeps. With us, your group walks out of a Grove restaurant or front door, gets in, and gets out at the show. After the show, the same car takes you home. The service works the same way for two friends or a group of fourteen. The questions below cover what Coconut Grove riders ask most often.
Yes, one booking covers the whole evening. Start the block at your dinner reservation in Coconut Grove, and the same chauffeur takes you from the restaurant to the show and then home, all in one reservation and one vehicle. Pairing a relaxed Grove dinner with the show makes it a full night out, not just a ticket.
Hollywood is within our local area. The hourly service runs around Miami, including Miami Beach, Downtown, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Wynwood, Little Havana, and the airport area, plus nearby areas up toward Fort Lauderdale. The service stays local so your chauffeur is always nearby, and it doesn’t go out to Naples, Orlando, or West Palm Beach.
Pets are not accepted; certified service animals are welcome with advance notice. Send the details early and we’ll confirm the plan for your night.
Yes. You can confirm the evening of January 16 now over WhatsApp, and full payment reserves your vehicle and chauffeur.
Reserving one premium service by the hour is a different thing from opening an app every time you move. You hold a single vehicle and a single bilingual chauffeur for the whole block, the price is fixed before you start, and the car simply waits while you eat, shop, or take photos — no re-requesting, no surge, no stranger learning where you are headed each time.
| By the hour with us | App rides (Uber / Lyft) |
|---|---|
| One flat hourly rate, locked before you start | A fresh fare every ride, surging 1.5×–4× at peak |
| The same vehicle and driver stay with you all day | A different car and a stranger at every pickup |
| Your driver waits between each stop — nothing to re-book | Re-request and wait at the curb after each stop |
| A vetted, professional bilingual chauffeur | Whoever happens to accept the ping |
Across a full day of stops, one reserved chauffeur usually lands below a string of Uber Black or Lyft Lux surges — and it stays a calmer, more premium service from the first pickup to the last drop-off.

If no offer is sent, the driver may leave once your free waiting time is over.

Driver gratuity is optional and at your discretion; it’s always welcome.
You get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Within 24 hours of the ride, the booking is non-refundable.
