Transfer to Cape Canaveral from Port of Miami

From $600 per vehicle — a private one-way ride from Port of Miami to Cape Canaveral.

What Does the Port of Miami to Cape Canaveral Transfer Cost? 💵

Each rate below covers the whole vehicle for the entire trip, fixed the moment you reserve and untouched by traffic, holiday weekends, or how hectic the terminals turn on your disembarkation morning. Pick the size that matches your cruise party and the fare stays locked.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $600 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $850
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $1050

Where Does the Driver Meet You After the Cruise? 🚢

Pickup begins right at the PortMiami cruise terminals, so this trip suits a sailing that ends in Miami rather than one finishing somewhere else — worth confirming on your cruise documents weeks out rather than on the morning itself. Once you clear the ship and collect your bags, the driver stands waiting curbside as you step out of the terminal building, ready to load the luggage and pull away. Meet-and-greet is part of the service. Favor to be met by name? Ask on WhatsApp for a name sign and the driver holds it at the exit for a flat $40. There is no wandering a parking deck and no rideshare lot to hunt through — the handoff happens right at the curb.

What Is Cape Canaveral Like? 🗺️

Cape Canaveral sits on Florida’s Space Coast, a barrier-island town with the Atlantic on one side and the Banana River on the other. It is best known for its hectic cruise port, broad sandy beaches, and the launch pads just up the road. The town is the gateway to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, and travelers fill the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for rockets, exhibits, and launch viewing. Between the marinas, casual seafood spots, fishing charters, and the wildlife areas close by, Cape Canaveral makes a simple place to spend a day before or after a sailing. One thing to know: a few addresses here sit inside federal property reached only through a guarded gate, so if your destination is on a base, arrange for a cleared escort to meet you at the entrance — hotels, rentals, and homes in the town itself are a normal door drop.

How Does the Drive North Play Out? ⌛

The run to Cape Canaveral is a long-distance haul up Florida’s Atlantic coast, not a swift local hop, so plan for it to take a real chunk of the day. Mid-morning and early-afternoon departures tend to move steadily, while weekday rush hours and holiday weekends can stretch the miles out. Because the fare is set at booking, a slower day never changes what you pay — the flat rate absorbs the extra time on the road. The driver builds your pickup around the ship’s schedule, so you leave with a sensible cushion rather than a last-minute scramble. Want a short break for a restroom or a snack on a drive this long? Mention it when you book; one stop of up to 30 minutes is included, so the driver can plan the timing.

Can the Driver Drop Us at the Kennedy Space Center? 🏆

Yes — this is door-to-door service, so the driver takes you straight to a Cape Canaveral hotel, a resort, a private rental, or the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex if that is where the day starts. Offer the exact address when you book and the driver plans the drop-off to match, luggage and all.

Our whole group rode together straight from the terminal to Cape Canaveral, and nobody had to think about a thing. For a no-hassle way to get from the port to Cape Canaveral, it was well worth it.

Traveling on my own after the cruise, I wanted the ride handled, so a private car straight to Cape Canaveral made the morning easy. I got a clear confirmation, so there was nothing to worry about at the terminal.

There were six of us stepping off at PortMiami, and one private transfer to Cape Canaveral was the easy way. The driver took care of every bag so we didn’t have to lift a thing.

The group of us came off the ship together and it was so easy to have one private van waiting at the terminal for the ride to Cape Canaveral — no splitting up. For a no-hassle way to get from the port to Cape Canaveral, it was money well spent.
