Where Your Driver Waits at PortMiami 🚢

On disembarkation morning the driver plans around the ship’s arrival and waits at the curb outside your terminal at PortMiami. The curbside greeting at the terminal is included; the Meet & Greet at the terminal, your driver holding a name sign, is available for $40. Luggage goes straight from the terminal into the vehicle and the ride leaves private and direct.

Riverbank Guesthouse in Wilton Manors 🗺️

Riverbank Guesthouse is a private, house-scale place to stay in Wilton Manors, the small Broward County community that sits a short way north of the city of Miami. It is a guesthouse rather than a tower — an address you pull up to, with a front door instead of a crowded lobby and valet line. For a traveler stepping off a cruise, that difference matters: you arrive at a quiet, residential-feeling property where the pace slows down, unpack once, and settle in without navigating floors of hallway.

Wilton Manors itself is one of the more walkable, low-rise pockets of the region — a green and easygoing part of northern Broward that trades traffic and skyline for tree-lined streets. From the guesthouse you are well placed for the wider area, with the parks, open spaces, and everyday shops that fill this stretch of the county close at hand, while the coast and the larger draws around greater Miami stay an easy drive when you want them. It makes a sensible base whether you are here for a night before sailing, a few days after, or a longer Broward stay.

Arrival is meant to be the simple part. Your chauffeur brings you straight to the door of Riverbank Guesthouse, lifts every bag out of the vehicle, and hands them over where you are staying rather than at a curb down the block. There are no stops to create and no connections to catch — just one ride from the terminal to a front door with your reservation on it.

Your Ride from the Port of Miami to the Door 🕒

From the cruise terminal it is a single, direct run to Riverbank Guesthouse — no stops, no changes, no vehicle to fill. Your chauffeur meets you after disembarkation, loads every bag, and points the vehicle out of the Port of Miami and north. The route runs mostly along I-95 and covers roughly 31 miles, which takes about 50 to 66 minutes depending on the hour and how the highway is moving.

Because the pickup follows your ship’s actual arrival rather than a fixed slot, there is room built in for customs and baggage lines, so a slow terminal does not cost you the ride. The vehicle is reserved for your party alone from the pier to the property, and the trip ends at the door of Riverbank Guesthouse with your luggage carried in.

O jeito fácil de ir do navio até Riverbank Guesthouse. Reservaria de novo sem pensar. A tarifa estava fixa desde a reserva, exatamente o que foi combinado.

With the whole crew, arranging a private car from the terminal to Riverbank Guesthouse meant no scramble on disembarkation morning. It was a private car for our party alone — nobody else to wait on — so much nicer than piling in with strangers. We went from the terminal to a real bed with nothing to worry about in between.

No quería pelear por un transporte la mañana en que bajé del barco, así que coordiné un auto privado de la terminal a Riverbank Guesthouse. Había una ventana de cortesía desde la hora acordada, así que nunca tuve que apurarme para pasar la aduana.

The little ones were done after a week at sea when we walked off, and a private van already at the curb got everyone to Riverbank Guesthouse in one piece. The last thing you want after a week at sea is a ride that falls through, and this was reliable and on time.

The two of us sailed out of PortMiami and having a private car meet us at the terminal for the ride over to Riverbank Guesthouse made the morning easy. There was a generous grace period from the agreed time, so we never had to rush through customs.
