Where Port of the Islands Resort Sits on the Naples Coast 🗺️
Port of the Islands Resort sits in Naples, out on the Naples–Fort Myers stretch of Florida’s southwest coast. It is a long way in feel from the cruise terminals you just walked off, trading the harbor bustle of the port for the quieter edge of the state where the Gulf coast meets the wide open country inland. Getting here is a genuine road trip, and arriving feels like it too.
When your ride reaches the resort, the drop-off is at the property’s own entrance — not a corner nearby, not a lot down the street. Your chauffeur pulls up to the main entrance and carries every bag from the vehicle to the door beside you, so the first thing you do after a long morning at the port is walk in, not hunt for the front of the property. Drop-off covers Naples and the streets around your stay, and the reservation is staged around your exact arrival so someone is there when you are.
That address on the coast is the whole point of coming out this way. After a cruise and a couple of hours on the road, you land somewhere unhurried, a real change of pace from the terminals on Dodge Island. The transfer is built to deliver you cleanly to that door — one group, one vehicle, your own space the entire way — so the resort is where your day slows down rather than where a new round of logistics begins.
How the Ride to Port of the Islands Resort Goes 🕒
Plan on roughly 108 to 120 minutes between Port of Miami and Port of the Islands Resort, depending on the hour and the traffic. The pickup is organized by message as you walk off the ship, staged at your terminal on Dodge Island for your actual disembarkation — self-assist walkers come off early, checked-luggage groups later — with a 60-minute courtesy wait built in to absorb a slow gangway. No shared pooling, no waiting on strangers; the vehicle is yours from the moment you step off.
Once your group and every bag are loaded, it is a straight run west across the state to the coast. Your luggage rides with you the whole way, your chauffeur handles it door to door, and the drive is quiet time with your own climate zone and room to stretch. The ride ends at the resort’s main entrance, bags carried to the curb, one location per reservation.

We got off the ship with the little ones ready for a nap, and a private van waiting at the port made the run to Port of the Islands Resort so easy. Booking was quick, we got clear pickup details, and everything lined up perfectly. We went from the terminal to a real bed with no stress at all. No stress at all.
