Where Your Driver Waits at PortMiami 🚢

On disembarkation morning the driver plans around the ship’s arrival and waits at the curb outside your terminal at PortMiami. The curbside greeting at the terminal is included; the Meet & Greet at the terminal, your driver holding a name sign, is available for $40. Luggage goes straight from the terminal into the vehicle and the ride leaves private and direct.

Your Stay at Naples Bay Resort & Marina 🧭

Naples Bay Resort & Marina sits on Florida’s opposite coast, in Naples — the Gulf-side town known for powder-soft sand and a long fishing pier. The resort keeps you close to the water, with the shoreline only steps from the door. Plenty of guests trade the ship’s pool for real beach the same afternoon they step off the ramp, and the marina setting means boats and open water are part of the view rather than a drive away.

Naples wears two faces, and this address keeps both within reach. Fifth Avenue South, lined with galleries and easygoing cafes, sits close to the stay, and so does Third Street South a little farther along. The Naples Pier is a short distance off for a walk out over the Gulf, while the Naples Botanical Garden offers a quieter morning among the plantings. Between the shoreline and the town, a day here fills itself without much planning.

What makes this a fine landing after a cruise is the contrast: powder beaches and the pier on one side, the galleries and garden on the other, all packed into one walkable town. Staying at the marina puts you in the middle of it, so the shift from ship to shore feels natural instead of rushed. With your own vehicle bringing you straight to the door, you reach settled, bags in hand, ready to pick a beach chair or a table on Fifth Avenue without a fixed schedule dictating the afternoon.

How the Ride to Naples Bay Resort & Marina Goes 🕒

Book before you dock and disembarkation becomes the simple part. Your reserved SUV is staged at your ship’s own terminal, so the driver is waiting as your group clears the hall — the wait is theirs, not yours. There is no parking lot to locate and no line to join; the chauffeur meets you at the curb, loads the luggage, and the bags ride inside the vehicle with you the whole way.

From the port the route runs west across the state on I-75, a single direct leg with no stops between the terminal and the resort. Plan on roughly 129 to 141 minutes terminal to door, lighter or heavier depending on traffic. The vehicle is yours alone, so you set the departure time and the pace, and one flat fare is locked at booking.

After our sailing, my husband and I weren’t going to gamble on a ride at the terminal, so we lined up a private car to Naples Bay Resort & Marina. It was a private car for our party alone — nobody else to wait on — so much nicer than piling in with strangers. There was a sign with our name at the exit, so we didn’t have to look around. Made getting off the ship so easy.

The two of us sailed out of PortMiami and having a private car waiting curbside for the ride over to Naples Bay Resort & Marina was the best part of the day. Getting to Naples Bay Resort & Marina first thing meant we could settle in without waiting around. An easy, relaxed handoff for the two of us — off the ship and into Naples Bay Resort & Marina with nothing left to sort out.

My husband and I didn’t want the taxi scramble outside the terminal, so we booked a private ride to Naples Bay Resort & Marina before we even sailed. There was a sign with our name at the terminal doors, so we didn’t have to look around. We’ve already earmarked them for our next cruise out of PortMiami.

For an easy disembarkation, my husband and I had a private driver meet us at the cruise terminal to run us over to Naples Bay Resort & Marina. The ride from the terminal to Naples Bay Resort & Marina was smooth and steady, and we could just settle in. The fare was fixed when we booked, the same number we were quoted.
