Bellasera Resort, on the Naples Gulf Coast 🗺️

Bellasera Resort sits in Naples, the polished town at the southern end of Florida’s Gulf coast. This is the stretch where the state trades the Atlantic for the Gulf of Mexico, and the pace settles to match the calmer water. Coming off the ship, your private ride from the cruise terminal runs straight here and ends right at the entrance, with your chauffeur lifting every bag to the curb beside you rather than leaving you to sort it out. It makes a simple handoff from sea to shore.

Naples rewards travelers who like to explore on foot, and the resort keeps you close to the parts worth walking. Fifth Avenue South lays out several blocks of white-tablecloth restaurants, galleries, and shops, and it stays within simple reach of the stay. Third Street South is another walkable stretch neighboring, with its own run of dining and storefronts. When the afternoon winds down, the historic Naples Pier is the spot to watch the sun sink into the Gulf, an unhurried outing from where you are staying and a quiet way to close out a day.

The wilder side of the coast is close as well. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park sits just along the shoreline in Naples, with peaceful beach and mangrove within reach for a morning away from the busier blocks. Farther inland, the Everglades open at the back door, so a day among the sawgrass and coastal wildlife fits neatly into a short drive. Between the dining streets, the pier at sunset, and the parks on either side, Bellasera Resort makes a natural base for a few added days on the Gulf coast — a peaceful place to unwind before you board or after you disembark.

The Drive to Bellasera Resort 🕒

The trip from the cruise terminal to Bellasera Resort is one clean run. Your chauffeur is already waiting when you clear disembarkation, so there is no line to join and no car to hunt down. Your luggage goes into the vehicle, the whole car belongs to your group alone, and the route follows I-75 north up the peninsula toward the Gulf coast with no shared stops along the way.

Plan on roughly 130 to 142 minutes from the terminal to the door, depending on the hour and how I-75 is moving. Because the pickup is set to your ship’s actual arrival rather than a fixed slot, a slower morning on the highway does not cost you the car. When you reach Naples, the drop is right at the resort entrance, with the bags carried over beside you.

After our week aboard, my wife and I weren’t going to gamble on a ride at the terminal, so we arranged a private car to Bellasera Resort. The car was roomy enough for all the cruise luggage, a relief in the Miami heat. We went from the terminal to a real bed with nothing to worry about in between.

Solo Traveller

I was cruising by myself and arranged a private car to meet me at the cruise terminal once the ship docked and take me right over to Bellasera Resort. It was a private car just for me — no side pickups — so much nicer than piling in with strangers. There was a sign with my name at the exit, so I spotted the driver immediately.

We cruised with a group of friends and wanted everyone and the luggage in one private ride to Bellasera Resort after disembarking. There was room for everyone for the whole group and everyone’s bags in one van to Bellasera Resort.

Cruising with the family, we wanted the port end handled, so a private van straight over to Bellasera Resort was perfect. The fare was fixed when we booked, the same number we were quoted. The van was clean, cool, and comfortable, a relief in the Miami heat.
