Landing at Manta Ray Inn in Hollywood 🗺️
Manta Ray Inn sits in Hollywood, the easygoing beach town that rests about halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Its top feature is a simple one: the shoreline waits just steps from the door. Plenty of guests step off their ship in the morning and are standing on real sand that same afternoon, trading the deck for the water without a long day of journey in between. If your idea of the first day ashore is toes in the sand rather than another lobby, this stretch of Hollywood delivers it quickly.
The neighborhood keeps a relaxed, walkable rhythm. The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk runs along the water for a simple stroll or bike ride, lined with cafes and open views. A short way inland, ArtsPark at Young Circle gathers open lawns, events, and a green place to slow down. When you desire a distinct kind of evening, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino sits neighboring, and West Lake Park adds a stretch of protected shoreline and mangrove for anyone who likes their outdoors quiet.
All of it means Manta Ray Inn works well as a base for the days framing a cruise, whether you land early and desire the beach before the ship or you desire a calm place to unwind once the sailing is over. The setting is close enough to the water for spontaneous plans and close enough to Hollywood’s small-town core to fill an afternoon without much driving. You reach, drop the bags, and the coast is already in reach.
The Ride from Port of Miami to Manta Ray Inn 🕒
Your chauffeur meets you at the terminal once your group clears the exit, and the car is staged for the curb rather than left to chance. Bags go straight into the vehicle, and from PortMiami it is one run north along I-95 to the door of Manta Ray Inn — roughly 21 miles, usually 46 to 61 minutes depending on the hour and the traffic on the interstate.
Because the pickup follows your ship’s actual arrival with time built in, there is no scramble on the sidewalk while everyone else hunts for a ride. The vehicle is yours alone, straight from the port to the hotel entrance, where the driver helps with the luggage again. Coming or going, it is one planned journey built around your sailing.

The kids were done after a week at sea when we walked off, and a private van already at the curb got everyone to Manta Ray Inn in one piece. No line to stand in — we just stepped out and the car was ready. We went from the ship to the front desk of Manta Ray Inn with no stress at all.
