Pickup at Your Door in the Orlando Area 🧭

The driver comes to your hotel, resort, vacation home or address in the Orlando region at the agreed time, loads the bags and heads south with only your party on board. There is no counter, no shared van and no waiting for other passengers: the vehicle is yours from the door in Orlando to the destination in South Florida. A courtesy wait of 15 minutes is included at the pickup.

A Quiet Waterfront Corner of Broward County 🗺️

Lighthouse Point is a small, quiet waterfront city in the northeast corner of Broward County, on Florida’s Atlantic side. It is a place built around the water. Canals thread through its neighborhoods and open onto the Intracoastal Waterway, and beyond that lies the Atlantic. For a family arriving from Central Florida, the change of pace is immediate: after the theme-park corridors of the Orlando region, this is a peaceful residential town where the streets end at seawalls and docks rather than parking lots.

The city has long drawn boating families and anglers, and that character shapes what you locate when you reach. Homes here often come with their own dockage, and a good number of visitors are heading toward the water rather than a house address. Some arrivals finish at a marina rather than a front door. A marina is a gated property with a single vehicle entrance, so the details that matter are its name and your dock or slip number, not a street address on the water. Sorting that out at booking keeps the last few minutes of the ride simple.

If your Lighthouse Point stop does end at a boat, your driver brings the cases as far as the gate or the dock cart, which on a long run from Orlando is exactly the sort of final step worth settling ahead of time. Whether you are meeting family along one of the canals, joining a vessel on the Intracoastal, or merely staying in one of the town’s quiet residential streets, arriving by private car means you reach the exact point you named without a single transfer along the way.

How the Drive South Unfolds 🕒

The ride begins at the door in the Orlando region — your resort lobby, a vacation rental, a private home, or any address you offer us across Central Florida, from downtown Orlando to Lake Buena Vista and Kissimmee, with an Orlando International Airport (MCO) pickup available when arranged at booking. Your chauffeur arrives at the agreed time, loads the luggage into the vehicle, and settles the party in. From there it is one continuous drive south down Florida’s Turnpike and the I-95 corridor along the east coast, covering about 203 miles to Lighthouse Point.

The same driver and the same vehicle stay with you the whole way, so there are no swaps, no waiting on a connection, and no seats shared with strangers. The run takes roughly 3.3 hours in light, off-peak traffic, and holiday weekends or park-event days can stretch it longer. A single comfort stop for a restroom break or a snack fits naturally into the journey whenever you ask for it at booking. At the far end, you are delivered straight to your Lighthouse Point address, dock gate, or marina — door to door, start to finish.

Traveling with the whole family, I was NOT going to drive the Turnpike loaded with luggage, so I booked a private van from our resort in Orlando down to Lighthouse Point. The drive from Orlando down to Lighthouse Point was calm and comfortable, and we weren’t tired at all. The run down the Turnpike was the smoothest part of the day, and we got to just look out the window.

So glad I didn’t rent a car for the drive south. Clean van, great driver, and I arrived rested. Booking was easy, I got a clear confirmation, and it all matched what I was told.

We didn’t want to juggle tired kids, snacks and suitcases in a rental for the long drive south, so we booked a private van from our place in Orlando to the house in Lighthouse Point. We were just getting home to Lighthouse Point after the park days, and having someone drive the whole way was easily the best call of the trip.
