Meeting Point at the Cruise Terminal 🚢

Disembarkation at Port of Miami is easier with a driver already outside the terminal. The greeting at the curb is part of the price, the Meet & Greet at the terminal adds $40, and the vehicle is yours alone from the port to the destination, luggage included.

A Beach Landing at Hyde Beach Resort 🗺️

Hyde Beach Resort sits in Hollywood, the beach city that runs right along the ocean north of the port. What makes it an easy landing after a cruise is the setting: the water is a short walk from the door, so a beach afternoon becomes the obvious next move once you drop your bags. Hollywood keeps a low-key feel, with a small downtown gathered around Young Circle and the coastline doing most of the talking, which suits travelers who desire to unwind rather than rush.

The stay puts you close to Hollywood’s best-known stretch. The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, a brick promenade, runs two and a half miles along the ocean and is made for a slow walk with your feet near the sand. Inland, ArtsPark at Young Circle anchors the town’s green heart, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino rises nearby with its guitar-shaped tower, a landmark you can spot from a distance. West Lake Park is also within reach in Hollywood if you desire a quieter, greener corner.

For most guests the appeal is simple. Once the driver pulls up at Hyde Beach Resort, the cruise is behind you and the coast is in front of you. You can settle in, leave the luggage, and cross to the ocean for the rest of the day, or wander the Broadwalk toward the downtown at Young Circle. Everything the area is known for stays close, so you spend your first hours on land resting and looking around rather than planning the logistics of how to get there.

How the Ride to Hyde Beach Resort Goes 🕒

The ride is one clean run from the pier to the door. After you clear your ship’s terminal on Dodge Island, the driver meets your group at the curb and loads every bag, then heads straight for Hyde Beach Resort with no stops along the way. It is a single stretch along I-95 — about 19.9 miles — that normally takes 43 to 58 minutes depending on the day’s traffic.

Your booking includes 60 minutes of complimentary wait at the port, so the pace of customs never costs you the ride within that time. The vehicle is reserved for your party alone, the luggage stays inside it the whole way, and the pickup is timed to your actual disembarkation rather than a fixed clock. You reach at Hyde Beach Resort ready to step out and start the afternoon.

We got off the ship with the kids worn out after the cruise, and a private van there at the terminal made the run to Hyde Beach Resort so easy. No lot to comb through — we just stepped out and the car was ready. The kids crashed in the car, and getting straight to Hyde Beach Resort without a scramble at the port was exactly what we needed.

The little ones were half asleep when we walked off, and a private van already at the curb got everyone to Hyde Beach Resort in one piece.

The two of us cruised from PortMiami and having a private car meet us at the terminal for the ride over to Hyde Beach Resort made the morning easy. An easy, relaxed handoff for the two of us — off the ship and into Hyde Beach Resort with nothing left to sort out.
