How the Port Pickup Works 🕒

Tell us the ship and the driver times the pickup to its arrival, then waits at your terminal’s curb at PortMiami. The curbside greeting there is included in the fare; the Meet & Greet at the terminal is a $40 add-on. From the port the ride is direct, with no other passengers.

Arriving at Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts 🗺️

Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts sits at 2602 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, in the twin communities of Hallandale and Dania Beach, just south of Fort Lauderdale’s airport. It stands close enough to the water that the shoreline waits only steps from the property, which is why plenty of guests trade the ship’s pool for real sand the same afternoon they step off the gangway.

The surrounding stretch of Hallandale and Dania Beach carries an easygoing, mixed character. Casinos and the horse racing at Gulfstream Park sit near quiet state-park beaches, and the Design Center of the Americas — the DCOTA design center — anchors the region for anyone drawn to interiors and showrooms. Dania Pointe adds open-air shopping and dining a short distance off, so an afternoon here can run from the sand to the tables to the shops without much planning.

For guests who linger after the cruise, the Dania Beach Fishing Pier is one of the honest local pleasures, and the beaches themselves keep a calmer pace than the busier stretches farther south. Rooms, parking, and check-in questions are top put to the property directly, since those details belong to the hotel rather than to the ride. What the transfer handles is the simple part: your group delivered to the door at 2602 E Hallandale Beach Blvd, luggage and all, ready to start the stay.

From the Port to Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts 🕒

The ride begins right at the cruise terminal on Dodge Island. Once your group clears the hall and reaches the curb, the chauffeur is already organized by message and waiting with the vehicle, so the bags go straight into the car rather than onto the sidewalk. From there it is one direct leg north — roughly 19.6 miles along I-95 to Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts, with no change of vehicles and no second pickup to slow things down.

Plan on somewhere between 42 and 58 minutes, depending on how I-95 is moving that hour. Traffic is the only real variable, which is why the pickup follows your ship’s actual arrival with room to spare instead of a fixed slot. Luggage assist is included at both ends, and the fare stays exactly what you booked, so arrival day comes down to a single quiet run from the port to the door.

The two of us cruised from PortMiami and having a private car meet us at the terminal for the ride over to Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts made the morning easy. No lot to comb through — we just stepped out and the car was ready. There was a board with our name on it at the terminal doors, so we spotted the driver immediately.

There were nine of us stepping off at PortMiami, and one private transfer to Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts was far simpler than splitting into cars.

We didn’t want to wrangle kids and luggage looking for a ride at the port, so we booked a private van to Beachwalk Elite Hotels and Resorts. Booking was simple, we got everything in writing, and everything lined up perfectly.
