Luggage goes straight from the terminal into the vehicle and the ride leaves private and direct.

Your Base at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando East-Ucf Area by IHG 🗺️

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando East-Ucf Area by IHG is a relaxing select-service hotel run under the IHG banner, set on the east side of Orlando near the University of Central Florida. It is built for travelers who desire a dependable, easygoing place to land rather than a resort to work through, which makes it a sensible finish for a long transfer up from the coast. After days at sea, a familiar, well-kept room and a steady front desk are worth more than a lobby full of extras.

The location puts you on the calmer, residential side of the metro while keeping the wider region within reach. Downtown Orlando and neighboring Winter Park round out the grown-up half of the area, with lakeside parks, museums, and a boutique-lined main street to wander when you desire more than a pool chair. From this eastern corner you can plan quiet mornings at the hotel and simple runs into the city on your own schedule.

When you reach, the practical questions are the ones that matter: room availability, a place to leave your bags, and how early you can settle in. The hotel handles luggage holds and early check-in requests through its front desk, and its official page carries the current details on amenities and hours, so you can confirm what fits your day before you dock. We drop you at the entrance so that side of the trip is the only thing left to sort.

How the Ride to Your Orlando Hotel Goes 🕒

This is one clean run from the cruise terminal to the front door of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando East-Ucf Area by IHG. Your driver is already waiting when you clear the terminal, luggage goes straight into the vehicle, and the route heads north along Florida’s Turnpike and I-95 with no shared stops and no detours. The stretch covers roughly 232 miles and takes about 226 to 239 minutes, shifting with the traffic on those two highways rather than any surprise on our end.

Because ships rarely release everyone at the same minute, the pickup is planned around your actual arrival, with a 60-minute wait built in to cover customs and the baggage hall. You walk out, the vehicle is there, and the whole drive stays yours alone. That means you set the departure time and the pace, and the ride ends at the hotel entrance with a hand for your bags on both ends.

My wife and I stepped off the ship at PortMiami and a private car was right there for us to take us to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando East-Ucf Area by IHG. The night before, we got a text with the driver’s name and plate number, so there was no wondering which car was the right one on the way out. The SUV was clean, cool, and comfortable, a relief in the Miami heat.

The little ones were running on empty when we walked off, and a private van right at the terminal got everyone to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando East-Ucf Area by IHG before anyone lost it. The last thing you want after a week at sea is a ride that falls through, and this was there exactly when we needed it. We went from the terminal to a real bed with no stress at all.
