Arriving at Champion Lely Resort in Naples 🗺️

Champion Lely Resort sits in Naples, the polished stretch of Florida’s Gulf coast where the pace slows and the water is never far. This is the quieter, greener side of the drive west from the port, a place built around sunshine, open sky, and simple days by the coast. When your group steps out of the vehicle, the destination is the peaceful one you pictured when you booked the journey, and the ride there is over before the afternoon has really begun.

Naples gives you ample to fill the days on either side of a stay here. Fifth Avenue South is the town’s dining and strolling heart, a run of white-tablecloth blocks made for a slow dinner. The Naples Pier is the classic spot to catch the sunset over the Gulf, and Third Street South keeps the same walkable, unhurried feel a little further on. For a green break, the Naples Botanical Garden is close by, and the Everglades wait just past the edge of town for anyone who wants a wilder afternoon.

With the coast right there, a beach afternoon is the natural next move once you have arrived. Drop the bags at Champion Lely Resort, change, and walk toward the water while the driver handles the last of the luggage. Whether you land here to unwind before the flight home or to utilize Naples as a base for the Gulf coast, the resort puts you within simple reach of the pier, the shops, and the sand without a long shuffle between them.

How the Ride from PortMiami Goes 🕒

The journey runs from your ship’s own terminal at the Port of Miami straight to the door at Champion Lely Resort. Your driver is staged at the pier, timed to your actual disembarkation, and meets the group at the curb once you clear the terminal hall. Bags go into the vehicle for you, and from there it is one continuous ride west across the state, no transfers and no waiting in line for the next leg.

The route follows Southwest 8th Street and US-41 for the 105.3-mile run to Naples, and you should count on roughly 128 to 137 minutes terminal to door, depending on the traffic and the hour. It is a genuine road journey, and that is exactly where a private vehicle earns its place: room to stretch, your own climate zone, and stops only when you ask for them. When you reach the resort, the driver pulls up to the entrance and carries the luggage to the curb beside you.

Our family of five came off the ship at PortMiami and the driver had room for all the suitcases for the ride to Champion Lely Resort. We were dropped straight at the door of Champion Lely Resort, not down the block. There was a board with our name on it at the terminal doors, so we spotted the driver immediately. Would book again for the next cruise.
