Your Base at Prime Hotel in South Beach 🗺️

Prime Hotel puts you right where cruise travelers desire to be after a sailing: within steps of the shoreline, on the South Beach side of the causeway from PortMiami. Guests here frequently trade the ship’s pool for real sand the same afternoon they disembark, since the beach sits close enough to reach on foot once the bags are dropped and the room is sorted.

The location does a lot of the work. From Prime Hotel you are inside simple reach of Lincoln Road Mall and the Art Deco Historic District, with Española Way and the New World Center also close by in the same South Beach neighborhood. Numerous arriving guests fit one or two of those into the first day ashore, walking the shops and the pastel storefronts once they have unpacked. It is the kind of stay where the map stays folded, because most of what you came for is within a short stroll.

Arrival is meant to be simple. Your driver brings you straight to the entrance and carries the bags to the curb beside you, so the first thing you handle at Prime Hotel is check-in, not luggage logistics. Whether you are here for a pre-cruise night or settling in for a longer beach stay, the hotel works as a clean, well-placed anchor for the South Beach part of your journey, with the ocean, the shops, and the historic district all within a simple radius of the front door.

The Ride from PortMiami to Prime Hotel 🕒

This is a door-to-door private run from the Port of Miami cruise terminal to the entrance of Prime Hotel, timed to your ship’s arrival. Your driver is staged at the terminal before you clear the disembarkation hall, so the waiting is theirs, not yours. Disembarkation mornings pile up speedy at the terminal exits, and having the vehicle already in place is what keeps the morning moving. Once you are out, the bags go into the vehicle, your group climbs in, and you head straight for South Beach with no added stops and no strangers along for the ride.

The route follows MacArthur Causeway and SR A1A across to the beach side, a short hop from the port. Fuel, typical tolls, and full luggage assist are already inside the flat fare, so nothing changes on the day. Your driver is bilingual in Spanish and English and knows the port, and the car is yours alone for the whole journey to the door of Prime Hotel.

We cruised with a group of friends and wanted the whole group in one private ride to Prime Hotel after disembarking. The van was roomy enough for all the cruise luggage, and there was space for everything.

The two of us cruised from PortMiami and having a private car meet us at the terminal for the ride over to Prime Hotel was the best part of the day. The fare was locked in at booking, no surprise on a busy disembarkation morning.

No app hassle — we walked off the ship and a clean, private car was right there, then straight to Prime Hotel. Highly recommend.
