Leaving the Ship at Port of Miami 🧭

Walk off, clear the terminal, and the private vehicle is already outside. The driver knows which terminal the ship uses and times the pickup to the real disembarkation, with the curbside greeting included in the fare and the Meet & Greet at the terminal available for $40 if you want it. Bags in, and the car heads out of the port.

Oswald Resort, Your Base in Orlando 🗺️

Oswald Resort sits in Orlando, the inland Florida city that draws travelers off nearly every ship docking at the Port of Miami. Our private transfers reach every address in Orlando, so wherever the resort places you within the city, the driver takes your group straight to the entrance. Reserve the ride ahead of your sailing date and the whole trip is settled long before you step off the ship.

Orlando is more than its theme parks, and Oswald Resort keeps you close to the parts of the city many visitors miss. Downtown, the swans glide across Lake Eola Park, an easy afternoon in the middle of everything. A short way north, Winter Park lines Park Avenue with boutiques, and the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum holds its collection neighboring. When the calendar lines up, the Kia Center fills with arena nights, from concerts to home games, giving your evenings a reason to stay out.

Because the resort is your base, it helps to arrive without the counter-and-rental routine that eats a first day. Tell us the resort by name and the driver delivers your party to the door with the bags carried beside you, ready to check in and start the trip. The same private vehicle can bring you back to the terminal at the end, so both ends of the Orlando stay are handled by one company that already knows the run.

The Drive from the Port of Miami to Oswald Resort 🧭

From the pier, the ride to Oswald Resort covers roughly 243 miles and runs about 242 to 250 minutes along Florida’s Turnpike, traffic depending. Your driver is staged at your ship’s own terminal on Dodge Island, coordinated by message as you clear the hall, so the wait belongs to the driver rather than to you. There is no taxi line to join and no luggage left waiting on the sidewalk.

Once your group is aboard, the bags ride in the vehicle with you the whole way north, and the Turnpike does the rest. One party travels per vehicle, door to door, with the driver handling every bag from the curb at the port to the entrance at the resort. Give us the cruise line and arrival date, and the pickup is planned around your ship, not around whatever happens to be available.

The two of us booked a private transfer for disembarkation morning so we wouldn’t deal with the port crowds getting over to Oswald Resort. The last thing you want after a week at sea is a ride that falls through, and this was rock solid. The night before, we got a message with the driver’s name and license plate, so there was nothing to figure out on the way out.

Cruising with the family, we wanted the port end handled, so a private van straight over to Oswald Resort was worth every bit. The driver took care of every bag so we didn’t have to struggle with anything. The child seat was already installed, which was a real help that morning. Would book again for the next cruise.

The perfect end to the cruise — private, on time, and easy. The night before, we got a text with the driver’s name and license plate, so there was no guessing at the curb on the way out.
