Transfer to Metropolitan Resort Orlando from Port of Miami

From $600 per vehicle: a private, one-way ride from Port of Miami to Metropolitan Resort Orlando in a chauffeured SUV or van.

What Does the Ride from Port of Miami to Metropolitan Resort Orlando Cost? 💵

The fare is locked per vehicle for the one-way journey, and it already covers the tolls, the fuel and the driver’s time.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $600 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $850
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $1050

How the Port Pickup Works 🕒

Tell us the ship and the driver times the pickup to its arrival, then waits at your terminal’s curb at PortMiami. The curbside greeting there is included in the fare; the Meet & Greet at the terminal is a $40 add-on. From the port the ride is direct, with no other passengers.

Arriving at Metropolitan Resort Orlando 🗺️

Metropolitan Resort Orlando sits along International Drive, the long tourist corridor that runs through the heart of Orlando’s visitor district. Locals simply call it I-Drive, and it lines up attractions, outlet malls, and the convention center from one end to the other. Staying here puts you in the middle of that activity, with the resort set among the shops, dining, and entertainment that give this part of the city its steady energy.

The location keeps the big names close. Universal Orlando Resort and ICON Park are both within easy reach of the property, so a day at the theme parks or an evening at the observation wheel takes only a short hop. SeaWorld Orlando and the Orange County Convention Center are neighboring as well, both anchored to the same International Drive corridor. For families off a cruise and for business travelers alike, that clustering means less time crossing town and more time actually at the places you came to see.

When your chauffeur pulls in, you are set down along I-Drive or on whichever street your lodging faces, so you land at the door of your destination rather than a distant lot. Full luggage assist comes with the journey, and the bags move from the vehicle to the curb without you lifting them after a long day of journey. Whether Metropolitan Resort Orlando is your base for the parks, the convention center, or a few quiet days between sailings, you arrive settled and ready, with the whole tourist district spread out around you.

How the Ride to Metropolitan Resort Orlando Goes 🕒

The journey runs door to door. Your chauffeur is coordinated by message as you clear the terminal hall and meets your group right at the curb on Dodge Island, not out in a parking lot. The bags go straight into the vehicle, and because the pickup follows your ship’s actual arrival, there is room built in if customs runs slow. One group rides per vehicle, so the car that meets you is yours alone the whole way north.

From the port, the chauffeur takes Florida’s Turnpike and holds it for a single, direct leg to Metropolitan Resort Orlando. The route covers about 232.2 miles and normally runs 231 to 241 minutes, with traffic on the Turnpike the main thing that can shift the timing. You settle into a climate-controlled vehicle for the drive and step out at your stay on International Drive, the luggage handled at both ends.

My wife and I didn’t want the taxi scramble outside the terminal, so we booked a private ride to Metropolitan Resort Orlando before we even sailed. We were dropped at the entrance of Metropolitan Resort Orlando, not down the block. The night before, we got a message with the driver’s name and license plate, so there was nothing to figure out on the way out.

Our family of four came off the ship at PortMiami and the driver helped with the whole pile of luggage for the ride to Metropolitan Resort Orlando. There was a sign with our name at the exit, so we didn’t have to look around.

Getting a big group off the ship and over to Metropolitan Resort Orlando is usually a headache, but one pre-booked private van made it effortless. The driver handled the suitcases so we didn’t have to struggle with anything.
