Your Morning Off the Ship 🏆

The driver is outside the PortMiami terminal when you come through, plans around the ship’s real arrival time, and loads the bags. The curbside greeting is covered by the fare and the Meet & Greet at the terminal is offered for $40. Then it is one private vehicle straight to the destination.

Finding International Resort Club 🗺️

International Resort Club sits along International Drive, the long, hotel-lined boulevard that runs through the heart of Orlando’s visitor district. It is a genuine distance from the Port of Miami piers — the route north follows Florida’s Turnpike for roughly 227.5 miles, so this is a real road trip rather than a quick city hop. That distance is exactly where having your own vehicle pays off: room to stretch, your own climate zone, and stops only when you ask for them.

The stretch of International Drive around the resort strings together many of the area’s best-known names. Universal, SeaWorld, ICON Park’s observation wheel, and the convention center all line up along the same boulevard, which keeps the club close to the theme parks, the shows, and the meeting halls without a long crosstown drive. It is a location built for families coming off a cruise who want the parks next on the itinerary.

Arriving by private car means you are dropped right at the door of International Resort Club, not left at a curb to sort out the last leg with your bags. The chauffeur handles every piece of luggage from the vehicle to the entrance, so the end of a long Turnpike run is simply a matter of stepping out. Leaving for the ship works the same way in reverse: the driver meets you at the hotel entrance, loads the bags, and points the car back toward the terminal. Either direction, the vehicle is yours alone from pickup to drop-off.

How the Ride to International Resort Club Goes 🕒

This is one continuous run from the cruise terminal to the resort door. Coming off the ship, the car is staged for the terminal curb once your group clears the exit, with 60 minutes of courtesy wait built in to absorb customs and the luggage hall — you walk out, the vehicle is there, and your bags go straight into the trunk. From the pier it is a single trip up Florida’s Turnpike, roughly 227.5 miles, ending at the entrance of International Resort Club.

Budget somewhere between 226 and 236 minutes terminal to door, depending on traffic and the hour. Weekend mornings are the port’s busiest window, when thousands of passengers step off the ships at once, so your pickup is timed to your actual disembarkation rather than a fixed clock. The Turnpike miles are already figured into the plan, and the chauffeur speaks both English and Spanish, so the whole leg is arranged around your ship and your group.

De crucero con la familia, queríamos el puerto resuelto, así que una van privada esperando en la terminal International Resort Club fue perfecto. La sillita para el niño estaba puesta antes de que saliéramos, lo que fue una preocupación menos.

We booked one van for the whole group from the terminal to International Resort Club so the whole group stayed together. We’ve already earmarked them for our next cruise out of PortMiami.

A group of us came off the ship together and arranged one private van from the cruise terminal to International Resort Club. The ride from the terminal to International Resort Club was calm and comfortable, and we could just unwind after the cruise. It was a private car for our party alone — nobody else to wait on — a relief after a week aboard.

Viajando con los niños, reservamos una van privada para que nos esperara en la terminal de cruceros y llevara a todos hasta International Resort Club. Lo último que quieres tras una semana en el mar es un viaje que falle, y este fue justo cuando lo necesitamos.
