Transfer to Boca-Delray Lodge from Port of Miami

What Does the Ride from Port of Miami to Boca-Delray Lodge Cost? 💵

The fare is locked per vehicle for the one-way journey, and it already covers the tolls, the fuel and the driver’s time.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $175 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $300
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $375

Meeting Point at the Cruise Terminal 🚢

Disembarkation at Port of Miami is easier with a driver already outside the terminal. The greeting at the curb is part of the price, the Meet & Greet at the terminal adds $40, and the vehicle is yours alone from the port to the destination, luggage included.

Your Stay at Boca-Delray Lodge 🗺️

Boca-Delray Lodge sits in Boca Raton, the stretch of South Florida known for its Mizner-style arcades, trimmed golf greens, and beach parks kept in careful order. It is a place that leans into the coast, so the shoreline is close enough that numerous guests trade the ship’s pool deck for real sand the same afternoon they step off their cruise. The stay keeps you near the water while putting the town’s calmer, manicured side within reach.

What sits neighboring is part of the appeal. Mizner Park and the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center are both an easy reach from the property, and Red Reef Park and Florida Atlantic University are close by as well. That mix gives you a shopping-and-dining district, a coastal nature preserve, an oceanfront park, and a university campus all clustered around one base, which makes it simple to fill a few days without long drives between stops.

For a traveler coming straight from the terminal, the draw is the shift in pace. You leave the crowd and motion of a cruise morning and arrive somewhere quieter, where the beach is a short step away and the town is built for strolling rather than rushing. Settle in, drop the bags, and the shoreline is right there when you want it. Boca-Delray Lodge works well as a landing spot after a sailing or as a home base before one, with enough close at hand that the property becomes the center of the journey rather than just a bed for the night.

The Drive from the Port to Boca-Delray Lodge 🕒

Your chauffeur is staged at the terminal, timed to your ship’s actual arrival, so the vehicle is waiting when you walk off rather than the other way around. Pickup happens at your own terminal on Dodge Island, with luggage assist at the curb and every bag loaded into the vehicle before you go. From there it is a direct run north on I-95, roughly 44 miles, with the group riding together and no shared stops along the way.

Plan on about 68 to 82 minutes terminal to door, depending on how I-95 is moving that day. Traffic is the only real variable, which is why the pickup is built around your ship’s schedule with room to spare instead of a slot cut to the minute. The driver drops your group at the entrance of Boca-Delray Lodge and carries the bags to the curb beside you, so the ride ends the same way it started.

After our cruise, my partner and I didn’t feel like chasing a ride at the terminal, so we arranged a private car to Boca-Delray Lodge. The fare was fixed when we booked, nothing added at the curb. It was a private car for our party alone — no side pickups — a relief after a week aboard. Thanks for the smooth handoff!
