Transfer to Bimini Bay Resort from Port of Miami

From $89 per vehicle: a private, one-way ride from Port of Miami to Bimini Bay Resort in a chauffeured SUV or van.

What Does the Ride from Port of Miami to Bimini Bay Resort Cost? 💵

The fare is locked per vehicle for the one-way journey, and it already covers the tolls, the fuel and the driver’s time.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $89 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $140
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $200

Meeting Point at the Cruise Terminal 🚢

Disembarkation at Port of Miami is easier with a driver already outside the terminal. The greeting at the curb is part of the price, the Meet & Greet at the terminal adds $40, and the vehicle is yours alone from the port to the destination, luggage included.

Arriving at Bimini Bay Resort 🗺️

Bimini Bay Resort sits about 5.9 miles from PortMiami by road, reached across the MacArthur Causeway and SR A1A. For a cruise passenger it is one of the closer places to land after disembarkation — a short causeway ride rather than a long haul, which makes it an easy first stop when you step off the ship or a simple final night before you sail.

For travelers staying on, the surroundings are part of the appeal. Lincoln Road Mall, with its open-air shopping and cafés, is close by, and the Art Deco Historic District runs along the beachfront neighboring. Española Way and the New World Center are near at hand too, and Ocean Drive’s people-watching is within easy reach. Build in a night before or after the cruise and the walkable side of South Beach is right there.

Arrival itself is straightforward. Your chauffeur brings the group straight from your ship’s terminal to the resort entrance and carries the bags to the curb beside you — one direct ride, no crossing the port on foot. Because the vehicle is yours alone, there are no extra stops between the terminal and the door, and the same flat rate covers the reverse leg on embarkation day when you book both directions together.

The Ride to Bimini Bay Resort 🕒

The ride begins the moment you clear the terminal. Your chauffeur is already staged at the port, timed to your ship’s actual arrival, so there is nothing to arrange on the day — you walk off, find your driver, and the bags go into the vehicle. From there it is one direct run over the MacArthur Causeway and SR A1A to Bimini Bay Resort, about 5.9 miles that typically takes 17 to 19 minutes depending on the hour.

Traffic on the causeway and SR A1A is the only real variable, which is why the pickup is built around your ship’s arrival with room to spare rather than a slot cut to the minute. The vehicle is yours for the whole journey, luggage stored inside the whole way, and your driver takes you straight to the entrance. Book the return for embarkation day and the same flat one-way rate applies, with each pickup planned around your sailing.

Coming down the gangway by myself, the last thing I wanted was to drag my bags around looking for a ride at the port, so I had a private car waiting for the run to Bimini Bay Resort. The van was roomy enough for all the cruise luggage, a relief in the Miami heat. Getting off the ship on my own, I felt looked after from the terminal all the way to the door of Bimini Bay Resort.

Coordinamos una sola van para la comitiva entera de la terminal a Bimini Bay Resort para que el grupo no se separara. Era un auto privado solo para nosotros — sin paradas ajenas — un alivio tras una semana a bordo.

I was sailing by myself and arranged a private car to meet me at the terminal curb once the ship docked and take me straight to Bimini Bay Resort. Getting to Bimini Bay Resort first thing meant I could drop the bags and start the day.

Our family of six came off the ship at PortMiami and the driver had room for all the suitcases for the ride to Bimini Bay Resort. Honestly the smoothest part of the whole trip — everything just fell into place at the terminal. The driver took care of every bag so we didn’t have to juggle it all.
