Private Transportation from Port of Miami to Lahaina Inn Resort

From $450 per vehicle: a private, one-way ride from Port of Miami to Lahaina Inn Resort in a chauffeured SUV or van.

What Does the Ride from Port of Miami to Lahaina Inn Resort Cost? 💵

The prices are flat and quoted per vehicle for the whole one-way ride: no meter, no surge, nothing added at the curb.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $450 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $550
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $650

Leaving the Ship at Port of Miami 🧭

Walk off, clear the terminal, and the private vehicle is already outside. The driver knows which terminal the ship uses and times the pickup to the real disembarkation, with the terminal greeting included in the fare and a $20 name-sign option if you want it. Bags in, and the car heads out of the port.

Your Base at Lahaina Inn Resort on Estero Island 🗺️

Lahaina Inn Resort sits on Estero Island in Fort Myers Beach, with its front door at 5580 Estero Boulevard, 33931. This is the barrier-island stretch of Florida’s Gulf coast, a long ribbon of sand where the beach and the boulevard run side by side. The resort keeps you within reach of the water on one side and the island’s shops and cafes on the other, so most of what you came for is a short walk from where you are staying.

Estero Island is built for bare feet. The sand is wide and soft, the kind you sink into on a slow morning, and the passes at either end of the island are known for the dolphins that work the tide. At the island’s heart is the Times Square pier district, the walkable core where the fishing pier meets a cluster of open-air spots to eat and watch the Gulf. It is a compact, easygoing place, and the resort puts you close to all of it.

When you arrive, you step into a beach town rather than a city, and the pace is unhurried, the day shaping itself around the tide and the light. If you are planning extra days here, the official Fort Myers Islands & Beaches visitor guide is a solid starting point for what is open and what is worth the walk. For now, the resort is simply the quiet end of a long travel day, waiting at the far side of your ride from the port.

The Drive from PortMiami to Lahaina Inn Resort 🧭

Your ride begins right at the ship’s terminal at Port of Miami, not in a distant parking lot. Once you clear customs, your chauffeur meets you curbside, takes the bags, and loads them while you settle in. Terminal pickups include half an hour of free waiting, so the disembarkation lines never cost you the ride. From there it is one direct leg to Lahaina Inn Resort, with no stops and no shared seats, the vehicle reserved for your group alone.

The route runs by way of I-595 and covers roughly 144.7 miles, which takes about 155 to 167 minutes depending on the hour and the traffic. Your luggage stays in the vehicle the whole way, and the driver handles it again at the resort. It is a long stretch of road, so having your own car means you set the departure time and the pace, straight from the terminal to the door.

What Is Included in the Ride 🎫

The fare covers the vehicle for your group alone, the driver’s time, tolls and fuel, the meet-and-greet at the pickup point and help with every bag. Extras such as a child seat or an added stop are priced separately and listed below.

What Do I Pay and When? 💲

You pay a 50% deposit online to hold the vehicle, then the balance directly to the driver on the day, in cash or by card. The one-way fare above is the whole amount.

Late Hours, Kids and Stops 🌜

Rides between 9 PM and 7 AM add a night fee for the SUV: $20 within Miami-Dade and Broward, $50 farther out. Child seats are available for $15 each. An extra stop is billed at $45 per 30 minutes of the detour.

Room for Everyone and the Bags 🏆

The SUV seats up to 5 with their luggage; the 6-9 and 10-14 passenger vans keep bigger groups together. Send the head count and bag count and the vehicle is matched to them.

Is There Flexibility After Booking? 🕒

Yes for the details: add a passenger, a child seat or a note up to 12 hours before the pickup time. No for the date, which stays as booked.

Contact & Booking 📞

To book, WhatsApp wa.me/17866828748 or call 786-682-8748. Share the date, the number of travelers and bags, and we lock in the driver.

Frequently Asked Questions
We answer the most common questions we receive from travelers.

How early should I reserve my ride? 📆

Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

Can I still get a car for today? ⚡

We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.

Do I pay everything up front? 💰

No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.

Can the balance be paid in cash to the driver? 🪙

Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.

What are the rules for changing or canceling? 📝

Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.

Can I move my pickup time after booking? ⏰

The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.

Is paying online safe, and is there a card fee? 🔐

Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.

I am booking from another country, is that a problem? 🌍

Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Do you follow my flight if it lands early or late? ✈️

Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.

What if my flight is canceled or lands somewhere else? 🛬

Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.

Where does the driver wait at the airport, and is a name sign included? 🚏

Your driver meets you at the MIA arrivals level at the curb, and that meet-and-greet is included in the fare. If you would rather be greeted inside the terminal with a name sign, add the name-sign welcome for $20 when you book.

I will land without data or roaming, how will we find each other? 📲

You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.

How will I know which car and driver are mine? 🪪

The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.

What should I do if I cannot reach the driver? 📞

Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.

How long will the driver wait, and what does extra waiting cost? ⌛

At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.

How long is the ride going to take? 🕒

The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.

Will the driver handle my luggage? 🧳

Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.

How much luggage fits, and what about oversized items? 🎒

Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.

Do you have a child seat or a booster for kids? 🧒

Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.

Can we stop somewhere on the way? 🛣️

Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.

Is the ride shared with other passengers? 🚘

Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.

Which vehicles do you use? 🚙

A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.

Do you only do airport rides? 🛎️

No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.

Can you handle weddings, conferences or VIP guests? 🎊

Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.

Is there a night surcharge? 🌜

Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.

Does the price on this page cover any address? 🧭

The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.

Are there any charges beyond the quoted fare? 🧾

The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, a name-sign welcome, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.

We got off the ship with the kids and a mountain of luggage, and a private van waiting at the port made the run to Lahaina Inn Resort painless.

My husband and I walked off the ship at PortMiami and a private car was already at the curb to take us to Lahaina Inn Resort. Getting to Lahaina Inn Resort with no detours meant we could settle in without waiting around.

Traveling with the kids, we arranged a private van to meet us at the cruise terminal and take everyone over to Lahaina Inn Resort. The fare was fixed when we booked, nothing added at the curb. The last thing you want after a week at sea is a ride that falls through, and this was reliable and on time.

Disembarking alone, I had a driver there with my name on a sign for the ride to Lahaina Inn Resort — nothing left to chance. I went from the ship to the front desk of Lahaina Inn Resort with no stress at all. Booking was quick, I got everything in writing, and everything went exactly as planned.
