Private Transfer from MIA to the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

From $590 per vehicle, a private one-way ride from MIA to the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

What Does the Private MIA Ride Cost? 💵

Every figure below is the total for the whole vehicle on a one-way private trip, set the moment you book and left alone by the calendar or the traffic. Five riders in the SUV settle the same amount a lone traveller would.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $590 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $900
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $1000

Where the Driver Meets You at MIA 🧭

Pickup begins at the curb outside your Miami International Airport terminal, with the driver already in place as you step out holding the bags. Add the flight number when you book and the inbound is watched from the air, so the arrival curb is covered even after a slow pass through immigration and baggage claim. A curbside greeting comes with every booking; being met inside the terminal beside a name sign is an option that adds $40. From any MIA terminal the trip runs straight north toward the resort, with nothing to open on a phone and no rideshare queue to join after a long flight.

Picking the Private Vehicle for Your Party 🎫

Three private tiers cover the run north, chosen by headcount and luggage, and the whole party rides together rather than splitting across cars. A round trip is the one-way fare doubled, arranged as a single reservation so one driver and one pickup window handle both legs.

  • Private SUV: a black SUV for up to 5 riders, right for a couple, a small family, or a compact group with ordinary bags.
  • Mid-size private van: room for 6 to 9 travellers plus carry-ons and checked luggage.
  • Large private van: the roomiest pick, for 10 to 14 heading up together.

The Drive North to Fort Wilderness 🕒

Door to door the route covers 233.4 miles, about 375.5 kilometers, in roughly 236 minutes when the lanes are clear and closer to 241 once traffic thickens, near enough to four hours either way. Most of that distance rides on Florida’s Turnpike, the north-south corridor that lifts a car out of the Miami metro and up through central Florida toward the Orlando resort area. A late-morning or early-afternoon start tends to land at the quicker end; a weekday rush hour or a holiday getaway pushes it toward the longer figure, since the Miami stretch of the Turnpike is where the lanes fill first. The vehicle stays yours the entire way, so a short rest or restroom pause is simple to fit in without changing the fare.

Inside the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort 🗺️

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort sit within a wooded campground inside Walt Disney World, themed as a frontier of pine and cypress rather than a tower of hotel corridors. Each stand-alone cabin gives a family its own front door, kitchen, and porch, a quiet base after a long flight, close to internal buses and boat launches that reach the parks along with a marina, stables, and nightly campfire activities. The address reads 4510 Fort Wilderness Trail, Orlando, FL 32836, and that ZIP is worth keeping exactly as written, since most Walt Disney World addresses end in 32830 and this one does not. The drop-off lands at the campground’s reception near the entrance, where check-in happens; the loops sit well back on a large wooded site and the resort’s own buses cover that final stretch, so the ride finishes at reception rather than at the cabin porch. Official details live on the Disney resort page for the Cabins at Fort Wilderness.

What the Flat Fare Covers 🏆

The single per-vehicle figure folds in the costs that usually catch travellers out. Tolls, SunPass, and fuel are already paid, so nothing changes hands along the road and the transponder clears the gantries by itself. Onboard WiFi from a mobile hotspot runs the whole way north, handy for confirming a dining reservation or keeping children occupied. A bilingual driver, at ease in English along with Spanish or Portuguese, handles the full run, which smooths the first hour after an international arrival. The curbside meet and greet is part of the fare; the optional items are a held name sign, a child seat at $20 apiece, and any added stop at $45 for every 30 minutes, each confirmed at booking.

Deposit, Balance, and How You Pay 💲

Booking is split so journey day stays light. A 50% deposit locks the date, the vehicle, and the pickup window, and the other half goes to the driver on the day you journey. The charge is per vehicle for the whole group, never a per-head tally, and a round trip is the one-way price doubled across both legs. A secure card link, Zelle, or Venmo covers the deposit, and written confirmation carrying the driver’s details follows once it clears.

Night Pickups and the After-Hours Fee 🌜

Daytime pickups run from 7 AM to 9 PM with no surcharge. A trip that starts outside that window adds a modest after-hours fee that depends on the vehicle and how far it goes.

  • SUV, up to 5 passengers: adds $20 for trips staying inside Miami-Dade or Broward, and $50 for trips reaching beyond those counties, as this Orlando-area run does.
  • Van, 6 to 14 passengers: adds 10% over the trip value.

Is 0 the Price per Seat or per Vehicle? 💵

Per vehicle. The 0 SUV rate, and every figure in the price list, buys the whole car for your group, so a lone traveller and a full party of five pay the same one-way total. Headcount only decides which tier you reserve, never a per-person add-on.

What Happens If My MIA Flight Lands Late? ⌛

The driver follows the inbound flight in real time and shifts the pickup on its own, at no extra charge, so a delay in the air costs nothing on the ground. The flat fare holds at the same figure. Even after a long wait at customs and baggage claim, the SUV or van is at the curb when you reach it.

How Much Luggage Fits in the SUV or Van? 🎫

Plan on one checked bag and one carry-on per passenger, which lets a full SUV or van take the group’s typical luggage without a squeeze. Travelling with oversized or extra pieces? A WhatsApp note before the day confirms the room or steps you up to a larger van.

Can a Small Pet Come Along on the Drive North? 🗺️

Yes, with advance notice on WhatsApp and a proper pet carrier. Share the carrier’s size when you book so the driver arrives in a vehicle that holds both the carrier and the luggage for the run to Fort Wilderness.

Does the Transfer End at the Cabin Itself? 🌃

The ride finishes at the campground’s reception near the resort entrance, which is where check-in takes place. Fort Wilderness spreads across a large wooded property with its cabin loops set well back, and the resort’s internal buses cover that last leg, so the 233.4-mile run ends at reception rather than at the porch.

Frequently Asked Questions
We've gathered and answered the questions guests ask us most often.

How early should I reserve my ride? 📆

Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

Can I still get a car for today? ⚡

We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.

Do I pay everything up front? 💰

No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.

Can the balance be paid in cash to the driver? 🪙

Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.

What are the rules for changing or canceling? 📝

Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.

Can I move my pickup time after booking? ⏰

The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.

Is paying online safe, and is there a card fee? 🔐

Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.

I am booking from another country, is that a problem? 🌍

Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Do you follow my flight if it lands early or late? ✈️

Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.

What if my flight is canceled or lands somewhere else? 🛬

Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.

Where does the driver wait at the airport, and is a Meet and Greet included? 🚏

At MIA your driver meets you at the arrivals level at the curb, and that greeting is included in the fare. If you would rather be met inside the terminal with a name sign, add the Meet & Greet for $40 when you book. At the cruise port the curbside greeting is always included.

I will land without data or roaming, how will we find each other? 📲

You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.

How will I know which car and driver are mine? 🪪

The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.

What should I do if I cannot reach the driver? 📞

Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.

How long will the driver wait, and what does extra waiting cost? ⌛

At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.

How long is the ride going to take? 🕒

The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.

Will the driver handle my luggage? 🧳

Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.

How much luggage fits, and what about oversized items? 🎒

Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.

Do you have a child seat or a booster for kids? 🧒

Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.

Can we stop somewhere on the way? 🛣️

Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.

Is the ride shared with other passengers? 🚘

Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.

Which vehicles do you use? 🚙

A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.

Do you only do airport rides? 🛎️

No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.

Can you handle weddings, conferences or VIP guests? 🎊

Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.

Is there a night surcharge? 🌜

Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.

Does the price on this page cover any address? 🧭

The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.

Are there any charges beyond the quoted fare? 🧾

The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, the Meet & Greet at MIA, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.

Viemos à Flórida de aniversário e dar o pontapé com uma busca privativa foi a escolha certa. A tarifa foi fixa e combinada antes — sem taxímetro, sem surpresa, o que agradecemos depois da viagem.

Traveling with our two kids, I was NOT about to wrangle a taxi at MIA, so I booked a private van to the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The car was really comfortable after a long flight, and the AC was perfect. Our flight was delayed and the driver adjusted with no problem — not a worry at all.

On time, professional, and we were at the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort before we knew it. Our flight came in late and the driver adjusted with no problem — no extra charge, nothing to sort out.

First time flying into MIA by myself, and having someone right there at arrivals took the stress out of it. The driver was in a sharp, clean car, exactly what you want after a flight. Landing late at night, it was a huge comfort to have a private car already waiting instead of hunting for a ride.

The two of us landed at MIA for vacation and had a driver waiting the moment we reached arrivals. Booking was easy, we got the pickup details in writing, and everything went exactly as planned. It was a private car for our party alone, which made the ride to the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort easy and calm.
