Private Transfer from MIA to Punta Rassa

From $450 per vehicle, a private one-way ride from MIA to Punta Rassa on Florida’s Gulf coast, flat rate, door to door.

What Does the MIA to Punta Rassa Transfer Cost? 💵

One flat fare books the whole vehicle to any address in the area — the figure below is the total for your group, not a charge that climbs with each seat filled.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $450 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $550
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $650

Where Your Driver Meets You at MIA 🧭

At MIA the arrivals curb sits one level below the departures roadway, so once you clear baggage claim follow the signs for ground transportation instead of riding an escalator up. Your driver is already waiting at that lower curb when you step out, having watched the inbound flight so the timing matches when the plane actually touches down. The day before travel the driver’s name, the vehicle, and the plate reach you by text, which makes the right person easy to pick out the moment you walk through the doors. A curbside greeting is part of every booking; if you would rather be met inside the terminal beside a name sign, that in-terminal greeting is a $40 add-on you request when you reserve.

How Far Is the Coast, and How Long Is the Drive? 🕒

The run from MIA to Punta Rassa measures 155.8 miles — 250.8 kilometers — and takes somewhere between 153 and 167 minutes depending on the hour you set out. Nearly the whole trip stays on I-75, the interstate that carries traffic up Florida’s southwest coast, so most of the ride is open highway rather than stop-and-go streets. Set out early in the morning or around mid-day and the drive lands near the 153-minute end; an afternoon departure through the metro edges toward 167. Share the time you need to reach the coast when you book, and the pickup is set so a ferry or a standing appointment on the Gulf side is not left to chance.

The Simplest Route from the Airport to the Water 🗺️

A single private vehicle, booked ahead with your flight details, leaves the MIA terminal and drives straight across the state to your address on the coast — no app to open on arrival, no wait for a rideshare lot, no second leg to piece together. Choose the Black SUV for a party of up to five, or a van when the group is larger, and the whole vehicle stays yours for the trip. Because the drive holds to one continuous interstate, it reads as a single smooth stretch from the airport doors to the shore, ending exactly where you asked to be set down: a resort, a rental, a marina, or a private home.

What Punta Rassa Is Like When You Arrive 🚢

Punta Rassa sits at the far southwest edge of the drive, a waterfront community on Florida’s Gulf coast shaped almost entirely by the water around it — marinas, boat ramps, and long open views instead of a dense downtown. It reads quiet and low-key, a stretch of mainland that once worked as one of the region’s old cattle-shipping ports; you can read that past at the history of Punta Rassa and on the community site Punta Rassa online. Most travelers come here for the fishing, the boating, and the calm residential streets near the shore, treating it as a gateway to the wider Gulf coast. A private transfer sets you down at the precise address you gave, with no parking to hunt for at the end of a long day of flying.

How the Deposit and Payment Work 💲

A booking is confirmed with a 50% deposit, and the remaining half is handed to the driver on the day of the ride, so nothing needs to be paid in full ahead of travel. Pricing is one-way by default: a round trip is simply the one-way fare doubled, with both legs — the arrival and the later return to MIA — arranged under a single reservation and the same driver setup. The amount is charged per vehicle for the whole group, never per head, and nothing beyond the agreed balance is collected at the curb.

Does a Night Fee Apply? 🌜

Daytime service runs from 7 AM to 9 PM with no surcharge. A pickup outside that window carries a night fee tied to the vehicle and the distance: for a Black SUV the fee is $20 when the trip stays inside Miami-Dade or Broward and $50 once it runs beyond those counties. Because Punta Rassa lies well past both, the $50 figure is the one that applies to this route on an after-hours pickup.

What’s Included, and What Costs Extra 🎫

The curbside meet-and-greet, the private vehicle, and the flight-tracked pickup are all built into the fare. A few things sit outside it and are confirmed when you book: an in-terminal name-sign greeting adds $40, each child seat adds $20, and an extra stop along the way runs $45 per 30 minutes. Raise any of these over WhatsApp before travel and the cost is fixed in advance rather than sprung on you at the curb.

Is the vehicle private, or shared with other riders? 🏆

Every booking is private from start to finish. The SUV or van carries only your party — no strangers added along the way and no detours to collect anyone else. From the MIA curb to your doorstep on the coast, the vehicle belongs to your group alone for the full ride across the state.

What happens if my flight lands late? ⌛

A delay or an early landing changes nothing about the price. The driver follows the inbound flight and moves the pickup to match the real arrival time, so a slow customs line is already accounted for. You keep the same vehicle and the same flat fare, with no scramble to re-book a ride at the curb.

Can you drop off at nearby Gulf-coast towns or add a stop? 🌃

Yes. Pickups start at MIA and drop-offs reach other coastal towns and addresses across the southwest region, not only Punta Rassa itself. If you want an extra stop along the way, name it at booking so the right vehicle and routing are set, and the $45-per-30-minutes stop rate is confirmed up front rather than at the roadside.

How far ahead should I reserve the ride? 🗺️

Booking at least a day ahead gives the smoothest pickup, though a shorter-notice request is still worth sending and gets a real look. Include the flight number, the arrival date, the party size, and your destination address, and the vehicle and flat fare come back confirmed. A booked pickup time can still shift with a day’s notice if plans change.

Frequently Asked Questions
We answer the most common questions we receive from travelers.

How early should I reserve my ride? 📆

Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

Can I still get a car for today? ⚡

We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.

Do I pay everything up front? 💰

No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.

Can the balance be paid in cash to the driver? 🪙

Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.

What are the rules for changing or canceling? 📝

Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.

Can I move my pickup time after booking? ⏰

The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.

Is paying online safe, and is there a card fee? 🔐

Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.

I am booking from another country, is that a problem? 🌍

Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Do you follow my flight if it lands early or late? ✈️

Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.

What if my flight is canceled or lands somewhere else? 🛬

Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.

Where does the driver wait at the airport, and is a Meet and Greet included? 🚏

At MIA your driver meets you at the arrivals level at the curb, and that greeting is included in the fare. If you would rather be met inside the terminal with a name sign, add the Meet & Greet for $40 when you book. At the cruise port the curbside greeting is always included.

I will land without data or roaming, how will we find each other? 📲

You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.

How will I know which car and driver are mine? 🪪

The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.

What should I do if I cannot reach the driver? 📞

Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.

How long will the driver wait, and what does extra waiting cost? ⌛

At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.

How long is the ride going to take? 🕒

The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.

Will the driver handle my luggage? 🧳

Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.

How much luggage fits, and what about oversized items? 🎒

Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.

Do you have a child seat or a booster for kids? 🧒

Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.

Can we stop somewhere on the way? 🛣️

Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.

Is the ride shared with other passengers? 🚘

Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.

Which vehicles do you use? 🚙

A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.

Do you only do airport rides? 🛎️

No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.

Can you handle weddings, conferences or VIP guests? 🎊

Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.

Is there a night surcharge? 🌜

Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.

Does the price on this page cover any address? 🧭

The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.

Are there any charges beyond the quoted fare? 🧾

The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, the Meet & Greet at MIA, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.

My partner and I wanted to skip the airport taxi chaos, so we pre-booked a ride out to Punta Rassa. They kept an eye on the flight, so even though we got in late, the car was right there. A smooth, easy start to the two of us being in Punta Rassa.

A group of us landed in Miami and booked one private van from the airport out to Punta Rassa. Our flight was delayed and the driver was still there waiting — no extra charge, nothing. Booking was simple, we got a clear pickup instruction the night before, and everything matched what we were told.

The two of us landed at MIA to stay with relatives in Punta Rassa and had a driver waiting the moment we cleared arrivals. We were in town to visit relatives in Punta Rassa, and starting the trip this easy meant a lot.
