From $175 per vehicle — a private one-way black car ride from Port of Miami to West Perrine, door to door with your own driver.
Each price below covers the whole vehicle for a one-way run between the cruise terminal and your door, fixed the moment you book and unaffected by traffic or the hour you travel.
Once your ship ties up at PortMiami and you clear customs, your driver is already positioned at the terminal curb as you step out with your bags. Meet-and-greet comes with the booking, so there is no app to open and no rideshare lot to search. Ask ahead on WhatsApp and the driver will hold a name sign at the exit for a $40 add-on, which keeps the handoff simple after a long sailing. The driver lifts the cruise luggage into the vehicle, and the ride begins the moment everyone is settled.
Getting off the port means reaching the mainland first, either through the tunnel beneath the shipping channel or across the bridge that lands on Biscayne Boulevard downtown. On a morning when several ships empty together, that opening stretch off the island is often the slowest part of the trip, so the driver takes whichever exit is moving when the vehicle loads. From there the route runs south through Miami-Dade County toward the neighborhood, heading straight to your address with no shared stops. Because the fare is set per vehicle, a heavier or lighter traffic day never shifts the one-way price you agreed to.
West Perrine is a settled residential district in the southern part of Miami-Dade County — quiet blocks shaded by palms, family-run shops, small parks, and local churches that lend the area a real hometown feel. Everyday life here turns on those small businesses and gathering spots, and ongoing local investment keeps renewing the storefronts along its main roads. For more on the area’s history and current projects, the county’s West Perrine redevelopment board and the local redevelopment agency both track what is under way across the community.
A private booking keeps the vehicle for your party alone — no seat-sharing, no waiting while other riders are collected. The flat rate is locked when you reserve, so demand and congestion never move the number. Your driver speaks English plus Spanish or Portuguese, which smooths the details right after a cruise, and you reach a real person on WhatsApp to sort pickup timing, a name sign, or an extra bag. For families managing luggage and a tight disembarkation window, a set price and a car that is already in place are what make the ride into the neighborhood straightforward.
Half the fare, a 50% deposit, locks in the reservation, and the remaining balance goes straight to your driver on ride day. Payment runs through Venmo, Zelle, or a secure link sent over WhatsApp. Every fare is one-way and charged per vehicle rather than per seat, so a round trip is simply two one-way legs booked together. Driver name, vehicle, and pickup instructions arrive the day before, so you know exactly who is meeting you at the terminal.
Standard daytime hours run from 7 AM to 9 PM with no added charge. A pickup outside that window carries a small night fee on the SUV — $20 within Miami-Dade or Broward, which covers this part of the county. A child seat can be fitted for $15 on this Port of Miami route; share the child’s age on WhatsApp so the right seat is ready before pickup. If you need to add a stop along the way, extra time runs $45 per 30 minutes, arranged in advance so the driver can plan for it.
Yes. Your driver follows the ship’s real arrival, so a late docking simply shifts the pickup — the fare and the vehicle stay the same, with nothing to re-book. Send the ship name and terminal on WhatsApp so the timing lines up with when you actually step off. That way a slow morning coming off the boat never costs you the ride inland.
This rate is per vehicle rather than per person. Everyone in your party travels on the one flat price listed above, no matter whether you take the SUV or step up to a bigger van. Since each leg is priced one-way, a return trip to the port is just a second leg at the same locked rate.
There is room set aside for cruise luggage in both the SUV and the vans, with space for each passenger’s checked bag and carry-on. If the group is traveling with oversized or extra bags, flag it on WhatsApp before the day so the driver confirms the fit or moves you up to a larger van. Nothing gets left at the curb when the vehicle is matched to the load ahead of time.
Numbered streets repeat across south Miami-Dade, and the same number can sit on several nearby roads, each with its own compass prefix and suffix. Pass along the full address line exactly as it appears on your reservation or a relative’s mail — prefix, number, suffix, ZIP, and any unit number. That single detail is what turns the drop-off into your actual door in West Perrine rather than a nearby corner.
To lock your private transfer between Port of Miami and West Perrine, send your ship name, terminal, date, group size, and any child-seat or extra-bag needs. Message on WhatsApp at wa.me/17866828748 or call 786-682-8748, and your driver, vehicle, and flat rate are confirmed. Booking at least 24 hours ahead secures the pickup.
Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.
No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.
Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.
Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.
The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.
Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.
Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.
Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.
At MIA your driver meets you at the arrivals level at the curb, and that greeting is included in the fare. If you would rather be met inside the terminal with a name sign, add the Meet & Greet for $40 when you book. At the cruise port the curbside greeting is always included.
You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.
The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.
Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.
At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.
The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.
Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.
Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.
Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.
Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.
Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.
A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.
No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.
Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.
Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.
The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.
The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, the Meet & Greet at MIA, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.
We got off the ship with the kids and a mountain of luggage, and a private van there at the terminal made the run to West Perrine so easy. For a stress-free way to get from the port to West Perrine, it was money well spent. The night before, we got a text with the driver’s name and license plate, so there was nothing to figure out when we walked out.
Our whole crew came off the ship together and it was so easy to have one private van waiting at the terminal for the ride to West Perrine — no splitting up. It was only us in the car — nobody else to wait on — which was so much nicer than piling in with strangers. The driver took care of every bag so we didn’t have to juggle it all.
There were seven of us stepping off at PortMiami, and one private transfer to West Perrine was far simpler than splitting into cars. Booking was quick, we got a solid confirmation, and everything lined up perfectly. The night before, we got a text with the driver’s name and license plate, so there was no wondering which car was ours when we walked out.
