From $170 per vehicle, a private one-way ride from Port of Miami to The Hammocks in west Kendall — door to door, flat rate.
Every fare here covers the whole vehicle, not a seat, so a group splits one flat rate that locks the moment you book and never climbs with demand or cruise-day traffic.
Cruise passengers step off the ship, clear customs, and walk out to the terminal curb with their bags — that is where the driver waits, a hand ready for the luggage. A meet-and-greet comes with every booking, so nobody hunts through a rideshare lot or sits in an app queue. Ask on WhatsApp for a name sign and the driver holds one as you leave the building. The night before your sailing ends, a text lands with the driver’s name, the vehicle, and the plate, so you know exactly who to look for. On mornings when several ships empty at once the roads around the port move slowly, and the pickup is timed to your real arrival rather than a guessed slot.
The Hammocks sits in west Kendall, out in the southwest corner of Miami-Dade County, and it reads as suburban rather than seaside. Man-made lakes thread between the streets, joined by walking paths, small parks, and community pools, with shopping plazas close at hand for everyday errands and a meal. This is a quiet, family-first part of town, well away from the tourist strip — the sort of place cruise travelers head when they are visiting relatives or going home after a sailing. For the neighborhood’s own resources, the local Hammocks Community Association keeps a useful reference online.
From the cruise coast the run heads inland, usually taking the Dolphin Expressway (SR-836) west and tying into Florida’s Turnpike before it reaches the west Kendall streets. Traffic sets the pace: a debark morning with several ships clearing together crawls near the port, while a midday or evening pickup tends to roll more freely. Whatever the road does, the fare you agreed on holds — a heavier day on the expressway never adds a dollar. Many addresses out here sit inside large gated developments, some running to several hundred homes behind one or two controlled gates, with lakes and cul-de-sacs breaking up the layout. Share the community name, the gate residents normally use, the house number, and a visitor code if the guard needs one, and the vehicle pulls up at your door instead of a service entrance on the far side.
Each option is private, held for your party alone and never pooled with strangers. Pick by headcount and how much cruise luggage is coming along.
Sitting between two tiers or carrying oversized bags? Send a message on WhatsApp and the right fit gets confirmed before you pay.
Booking is settled with a 50% deposit through Venmo, Zelle, or a secure link sent over WhatsApp or the website; the other half goes straight to the driver on the day of the ride, cash accepted. The price is per vehicle for the whole group, so it is never divided per head. Fares are quoted one-way — a round trip is simply the one-way rate doubled, and booking both legs together locks a single driver and a set pickup time for your departure and your return to the port.
Daytime hours run 7 AM to 9 PM with no add-on. A pickup before 7 AM or after 9 PM carries a small off-hours fee — $20 on the black SUV, since The Hammocks falls inside Miami-Dade, with a modest percentage on the vans. A name sign at the terminal is a $40 request when you want one. The first child seat runs $15 on Port of Miami trips, and each extra seat is confirmed at booking — count every stroller, booster, or travel crib while you tally the bags, not once the vehicle is at the curb. An added stop along the way runs $45 for each 30 minutes. Courtesy waiting is built into the pickup, after which extra time is billed in half-hour blocks.
Your group rides alone in a reserved vehicle, with a bilingual driver who handles English along with Spanish or Portuguese — a help on a busy cruise morning. The rate is fixed at booking, so terminal congestion and peak demand never change what you owe. The driver loads and unloads the cruise luggage, and you reach a real person on WhatsApp rather than a dispatch lottery. For a family juggling bags, kids, and a tight disembarkation schedule, that coordination from the port straight to The Hammocks is the whole point.
The driver follows your ship’s real arrival and shifts the pickup at no added cost. Clear customs, walk to the curb, and the vehicle is there — a late docking never costs you the ride or a surprise fee. Terminal updates are tracked, so the timing moves with your ship rather than a fixed clock.
Yes — disembarkation day is the most common run out to The Hammocks. Reserve at least 24 hours ahead so the vehicle and driver are locked, and the ship gets tracked so the pickup slides earlier or later if the terminal clears you off schedule. Shorter-notice requests are looked at by hand, though a slot is not promised.
Plan on one checked bag plus a carry-on per passenger, and both the black SUV and the vans hold a full load of cruise luggage. Traveling with extra or oversized pieces? Flag it on WhatsApp ahead of time and the space gets confirmed, or you get sized up to a larger van.
Yes — the same private service works in reverse, collecting you from your west Kendall address and driving back to the PortMiami terminal for your next sailing. Book it as the return half of a round trip, priced at double the one-way, so one reservation covers both directions.
Yes — a single private van seats 6 to 9 or 10 to 14, so a cruise family or a group of friends rides together instead of splitting across separate cars. One booking, one bilingual driver, one flat fare carries the whole party to The Hammocks, and a round trip is just that rate doubled.
Reserve your private transfer to or from The Hammocks at least 24 hours ahead and the vehicle, driver, and flat fare lock on the spot. Message your ship name, sailing date, group size, pickup direction, and the drop-off address, and the details come back confirmed, with the driver’s name and plate sent the day before. Reach out on WhatsApp at wa.me/17866828748 or by phone at 786-682-8748.
Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.
No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.
Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.
Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.
The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.
Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.
Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.
Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.
At MIA your driver meets you at the arrivals level at the curb, and that greeting is included in the fare. If you would rather be met inside the terminal with a name sign, add the Meet & Greet for $40 when you book. At the cruise port the curbside greeting is always included.
You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.
The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.
Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.
At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.
The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.
Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.
Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.
Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.
Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.
Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.
A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.
No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.
Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.
Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.
The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.
The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, the Meet & Greet at MIA, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.
Couldn’t have been simpler — met at the curb, luggage handled, and an easy ride out to The Hammocks. The driver handled the suitcases so we didn’t have to lift a thing.
Cruising with the kids, we wanted the port end handled, so a private van straight to The Hammocks was perfect. No line to stand in — we just walked from the terminal to a car that was already there. The fare was locked in at booking, no surprise on a busy disembarkation morning.
My partner and I didn’t want the taxi scramble at PortMiami, so we booked a private ride to The Hammocks. The night before, we got a text with the driver’s name and plate number, so there was no wondering which car was ours when we walked out.
Tirou toda a preocupação de o porto — recomendo muito. Para chegar do porto até The Hammocks sem estresse, foi dinheiro bem gasto.
The two of us sailed out of PortMiami and getting a private car to meet us at the terminal for the ride to The Hammocks took all the stress out of it. An easy, smooth handoff for the two of us from the ship to The Hammocks. The fare was set up front, no surprise on a busy disembarkation morning.
