Black Car Transportation from Port of Miami to Pine Island Center

From $510 per vehicle, a private one-way ride from Port of Miami to Pine Island Center in a black car or van, booked at one flat rate.

What Does the Ride to Pine Island Center Cost? 💵

The rate is charged for the whole vehicle, not by the seat, so two travelers and a group filling the van pay the same posted figure. Pick the size that fits your party and its luggage, and the number shown is the complete one-way fare, locked in when the booking is confirmed. Tolls and fuel across the long drive are already inside that figure, so the booked number is the number paid.

  • Black SUV for up to 5 passengers: $510 USD
  • Van for 6 to 9 passengers: $685
  • Van for 10 to 14 passengers: $785

Where Your Driver Meets You at PortMiami 🚢

Pickups for the private transfer begin curbside at the PortMiami cruise terminal, where passengers filter out after clearing the ship. Meet-and-greet is built into the fare, so once the bags are gathered your driver is already positioned at the pickup lane and helps load the cases before walking everyone to the reserved vehicle. The vehicles are sized with cruise luggage in mind — figure on about a checked bag and a carry-on for each passenger — and the driver handles loading and unloading, so no one drags heavy cases across the terminal curb. If you would like a placard with your name held up at the curb, that can be added for $20, handy for spotting each other in a busy post-cruise crowd. Send the ship name and the terminal when the booking goes in, so the meeting point is settled ahead of the day rather than improvised on arrival.

About Pine Island Center 🗺️

Pine Island Center sits at the middle of Pine Island, a low-key stretch of Lee County on the Southwest Florida coast. This is old-Florida country rather than a wall of beachfront towers: quiet water edged with mangroves, fishing charters, a handful of galleries, tropical fruit farms, and unfussy seafood kitchens. The community works as the island’s everyday hub, the spot where the shops and practical services gather, and it makes a natural base between the fishing village of Bokeelia to the north and St. James City to the south. There are no ocean beaches on the island itself, which is a large part of why it stays so calm through the year. Places to stay lean toward small waterfront inns, cottages and vacation rentals rather than large chains; many cruise travelers base near the fishing villages or across the water around Cape Coral and Fort Myers, then keep the same driver for the return leg to the port. For local events and visitor details, the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce keeps a current listing.

The Drive from Port of Miami to Pine Island Center 🧭

This is a genuine cross-state run. The cruise port sits on the Atlantic side of the peninsula while Pine Island lies out on the Gulf, so the route heads west on I-75 — the Alligator Alley stretch — and crosses the Everglades before reaching the far coast. Treat it as most of a travel day rather than a short hop, and leaving earlier in the daytime hours usually means the lightest crossing. On a heavy disembarkation morning the first miles around the terminals can move slowly before the highway opens up. Off-peak the miles pass steadily, and the flat fare does not move whether the traffic is light or the crossing runs long. Because the road is long, a short comfort stop for a restroom or a bite can be arranged along the way if the group wants one.

Booking, Deposit and What the Fare Covers 🏆

Booking is confirmed with a 50 percent deposit, and the balance is settled directly with the driver on the day of travel. Payment goes through Venmo, Zelle or a secure link shared on WhatsApp or the site, charged for the vehicle as a whole rather than per traveler. Every fare is one-way and priced per vehicle; a round trip is simply the one-way figure doubled, and reserving both legs together keeps the same driver on your return to the port. A child seat can be fitted for an extra $15 on a Port of Miami run — just share the child’s age and how many seats are needed when the booking goes in. Reserve well ahead so the vehicle and the pickup time are held for your sailing.

Is the Price Per Person or Per Vehicle? 💲

Every fare is per vehicle, never per head. One traveler or a full group of fourteen pays the same posted rate, so larger parties simply share a single price. Pick the vehicle that suits the headcount and luggage, and that one flat one-way figure covers the whole private ride to Pine Island Center.

Is There an Extra Charge for Night Pickups? 🌜

Standard hours run from 7 AM to 9 PM. A pickup that falls outside that window carries a night fee on the SUV of $20 when the trip stays inside Miami-Dade or Broward, rising to $50 once it runs beyond those two counties. The base fare stays fixed per vehicle, so tell the driver the pickup time up front and the correct total is quoted before travel day.

How Do I Make Sure the Driver Reaches the Right Pine Island Center? 🕒

Three Lee County place names look alike on a map — Pine Island Center, Pine Manor and Pine Ridge sit well apart from one another — and a booking that gives only the first word can send a vehicle a long way off. Copy the full community name straight from your reservation, along with the street and the ZIP code. That single line is the most useful detail in the whole booking message.

Can I Add a Stop Along the Way? ⌛

Yes — a pre-arranged stop is easy to fit in, billed at $45 for each 30 minutes of added time. A quick pause at a mainland supermarket before the island is a common request, since groceries thin out once you cross onto Pine Island. Mention any planned stop when the booking is made rather than on travel day, so the driver can plan the route and the vehicle size around it.

Contact & Booking 📞

Lock in a private ride to or from the PortMiami cruise terminal today. Send your ship name, sailing date, group size and full Pine Island Center address over WhatsApp, and the driver and vehicle are confirmed for you. Frequently Asked Questions
We answer the most common questions we receive from travelers.

How early should I reserve my ride? 📆

Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

Can I still get a car for today? ⚡

We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.

Do I pay everything up front? 💳

No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.

Can the balance be paid in cash to the driver? 💵

Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.

What are the rules for changing or canceling? 🔁

Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.

Can I move my pickup time after booking? ⏰

The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.

Is paying online safe, and is there a card fee? 🔐

Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.

I am booking from another country, is that a problem? 🌍

Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Do you follow my flight if it lands early or late? ✈️

Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.

What if my flight is canceled or lands somewhere else? 🛬

Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.

Where does the driver wait at the airport, and is a name sign included? 🚏

Your driver meets you at the MIA arrivals level at the curb, and that meet-and-greet is included in the fare. If you would rather be greeted inside the terminal with a name sign, add the name-sign welcome for $20 when you book.

I will have no data or roaming when I land, how do we find each other? 📲

You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.

How will I know which car and driver are mine? 🪪

The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.

What should I do if I cannot reach the driver? 📞

Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.

How long will the driver wait, and what does extra waiting cost? ⌛

At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.

How long is the ride going to take? 🕒

The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.

Will the driver handle my luggage? 🧳

Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.

How much luggage fits, and what about oversized items? 🎒

Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.

Are child seats or boosters available? 👶

Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.

Can we stop somewhere on the way? 🛣️

Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.

Is the ride shared with other passengers? 🚘

Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.

Which vehicles do you use? 🚙

A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.

Do you only do airport rides? 🛎️

No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.

Can you handle weddings, conferences or VIP guests? 🎊

Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.

Is there a night surcharge? 🌜

Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.

Does the price on this page cover any address? 🧭

The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.

Are there any charges beyond the quoted fare? 🧾

The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, a name-sign welcome, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.

Coming off the ship solo, the last thing I wanted was to scramble for a car at the port, so I had a private transfer lined up to take me to Pine Island Center. There was a generous grace period from the agreed time, so I never had to rush through customs. The meet-and-greet at the curb came with the booking, and I found the car with no trouble.

With the little ones, pre-booking a private car from the terminal to Pine Island Center meant nothing to sort out the morning we disembarked. The SUV was fresh and comfortable, and the AC was perfect after the ship. For a stress-free way to get from the port to Pine Island Center, it was money well spent.

The group of us came off the ship together and it was a relief to have one private van waiting at the terminal for the ride to Pine Island Center — everyone in one vehicle. We had the driver’s details ahead of time, so there was nothing to worry about at the terminal.
