From $100 per vehicle: a private, one-way ride from the Port of Miami to your Miami Shores door in a black SUV or van.
The fare is flat and covers the whole vehicle, fixed the moment you book — choose the size that matches your group and every seat travels for the one price.
The moment your ship clears customs and you walk out with your bags, the driver is waiting curbside at the PortMiami cruise terminal, set to load the luggage and pull away — no rideshare lot to find, no taxi line to join. Because the collection is pinned to your real berthing time, a late dock takes care of itself: the arrival is watched live and the pickup is re-timed at no charge, and the flat rate does not move. Disembarkation mornings are busiest when a cluster of ships unloads together and the roads by the terminals clog up, which is why the driver works off live conditions rather than a set clock. Meet and greet comes with the ride; if you would rather the driver hold a name sign as you come out, add that for $20 at booking.
Miami Shores sits as a green, low-rise village a little way north of downtown Miami — canopied streets, mid-century houses and an unhurried, almost small-town rhythm even with the city only minutes off. Its core is a walkable row of cafes and independent storefronts, backed by a neighborhood golf course and a few small parks that pull in local families. Because the village hugs the edge of Biscayne Bay, the whole area keeps an easy waterside mood without the beach-district crowds, which makes the village a calm place to land after a sailing and an unhurried start for guests heading back toward the port. For a closer look before you travel, open the Miami Shores neighborhood guide.
Getting to Miami Shores means a brief, straightforward hop north of the city, worked by a single reserved vehicle that stays with you from curb to doorstep. The one slow patch is the knot of roads right by the terminals on a crowded disembarkation morning; past that, the northbound route loosens and the miles pass quickly. Since the same car holds your party the entire way, luggage goes in once and comes out at the address you gave, with no changeovers and no second leg to wait on. Some of the older pockets of the village keep heavy tree cover and low limbs across a few lanes, so if a larger van is on the way, flag whether your street has clearance overhead and room to turn, and send over the full street address, its ZIP, and a map pin.
A 50% deposit confirms the booking, and the remaining half goes to the driver on the day of travel — cash is fine for that portion. The price is charged per vehicle, never per person, so whether two travelers take the SUV or fourteen fill the larger van, the fare is set by the vehicle you reserve. The rates above are one-way; a round trip is simply that figure doubled and booked as a single reservation that runs out to Miami Shores and back to the port whenever your next sailing or flight calls.
Daytime service runs from 7 AM to 9 PM with nothing added to the flat rate. A pickup that falls outside that window carries a small night charge on top, set by the vehicle you book.
Tolls, SunPass and fuel are already built into the fare, so nothing is tacked on during the drive, and onboard WiFi runs off a mobile hotspot for the trip. The driver’s name, vehicle and plate reach you by text the day before, along with pickup instructions. A first child seat runs $15 when you ask for it at booking, fitted and waiting in the vehicle — send the ages over WhatsApp so the right seat is aboard. Need an added stop along the route? That runs $45 per 30 minutes and is arranged before travel day, and small pets are welcome in a carrier with notice ahead of time.
The car is yours and your group’s only — nobody else riding along, no unexpected pickups, no stops added to fill other seats before you reach the door. Whatever you agree to at booking is what you pay; the number does not rise with traffic, weather or a busy cruise day. Each driver speaks English along with Spanish or Portuguese, which eases that first hour for guests arriving from abroad, and everything runs through WhatsApp with a real person rather than an app queue. For a family on a tight disembarkation clock, it comes down to one dependable car covering the entire leg from the terminal to the front door.
The driver tracks your ship’s scheduled and actual arrival, so a berth behind schedule is handled without a call from you. The pickup simply shifts to match, at no extra cost, and the same flat rate stands. You meet the driver curbside once you clear the terminal.
Pick a time shortly after your scheduled disembarkation, since customs and baggage collection vary from ship to ship. The run to Miami Shores itself is brief and direct, so the real variable is how long the terminal takes to clear. If several ships dock together, allow a little cushion, and the driver is still in place when you reach the curb.
Yes. Pickups outside the 7 AM to 9 PM daytime window run on the same private basis, with the small night charge above added to the flat rate. Send your exact time at booking so the driver is set for an early debark or a late-evening arrival.
Yes. The same private SUVs and vans run between Miami International Airport and the PortMiami cruise terminal, on top of door-to-door rides like this one. Fly in before a cruise or sail in and fly out afterward, and one reserved vehicle carries your group and luggage in a single trip.
Reserve your private, one-way ride between the Port of Miami and Miami Shores over WhatsApp — send your group size, sail date, ship and pickup time, and the vehicle and flat rate are confirmed back to you. Book at least 24 hours ahead to secure availability, and the driver’s name, vehicle and plate reach you by text the day before. Reach the driver on WhatsApp at 786-682-8748, or call 786-682-8748 to confirm.
Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.
No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.
Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.
Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.
The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.
Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.
Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.
Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.
Your driver meets you at the MIA arrivals level at the curb, and that meet-and-greet is included in the fare. If you would rather be greeted inside the terminal with a name sign, add the name-sign welcome for $20 when you book.
You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.
The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.
Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.
At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.
The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.
Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.
Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.
Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.
Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.
Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.
A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.
No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.
Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.
Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.
The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.
The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, a name-sign welcome, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.
My partner and I weren’t up for the port chaos at PortMiami, so we reserved a private ride to Miami Shores.
There were seven of us stepping off at PortMiami, and one private transfer to Miami Shores was far simpler than splitting into cars. It was only us in the car — no one else’s stops — which was so much nicer than piling in with strangers.
