From $440 per vehicle: a private one-way black car from Port of Miami to Gateway, cruise-terminal meet-and-greet, flat rate for your group.
Each fare is the total for the whole vehicle rather than a per-seat charge, so a couple and a full party of fourteen ride Gateway-bound on the one flat number, set the moment the booking is confirmed and unchanged by traffic or demand.
The ride starts the moment you step off the ship. Once you clear customs and gather your bags inside the PortMiami cruise terminal, the driver stands curbside as you exit the building — no rideshare lot, no app queue to sort out. The evening before, a text delivers the driver’s name, the vehicle, and the plate, so the person at the curb is already known to you. Request it on WhatsApp in advance and a name sign is held at the doors for $40. From there the cruise bags are loaded and the black car pulls away toward Gateway, collecting no one else along the route.
Gateway reads less as one headline attraction and more as a practical, easygoing district for travelers on either side of a sailing. Dining, shops, and everyday services sit within short reach, so the area suits a business meeting as readily as a slow afternoon before an onward flight. Cruise travelers who base themselves in Gateway tend to choose the walkable blocks, where restaurants and storefronts cluster and the pace stays calm. Some addresses here sit inside gated golf communities entered through an attended gate that checks arrivals against a list, so ask your host to log the visit and pass along the name used — one message from the ship the night before spares the car from idling at a barrier. Wherever the Gateway address falls, the driver runs straight to that exact door.
Match the private tier to the real head count and the bags coming off the ship. The Black SUV holds up to five passengers with room for cruise luggage — a fit for couples and small families. A van seats six to nine, and the largest van keeps a party of ten to fourteen together in a single vehicle instead of splitting across cars. Every tier is reserved for one group alone, so the run to Gateway stays private from the terminal curb to the doorstep.
Each booking is held for one group — no pooling and no detours to gather strangers, from the PortMiami curb to the doorstep. The driver is bilingual, speaking English plus Spanish or Portuguese, which eases arrival for international cruise travelers. Because the flat rate is fixed at booking, demand and traffic never shift the price, and a real person confirms the ship, terminal, and bag count over WhatsApp instead of an app queue. For a family working a tight cruise-day schedule, one reserved vehicle beats coordinating several separate pickups.
Tolls, SunPass, and fuel are folded into the quoted number, so the roads add nothing at the curb. Each vehicle carries onboard WiFi over a mobile hotspot for the ride. A child seat runs $15 each and is fitted when the child’s age is flagged at booking. Small pets travel with advance notice on WhatsApp, riding in a carrier. Every passenger has space for one checked bag and one carry-on alongside cruise luggage, and the driver handles the loading and unloading. An extra stop beyond the direct run bills at $45 per 30 minutes and is arranged ahead so the driver can plan for it.
A 50% deposit locks the booking and holds the vehicle; the remaining balance goes to the driver on the day of the ride, cash included. Payment runs through Venmo, Zelle, or a secure link sent over WhatsApp or the website. The fare is charged per vehicle, never per head, and a round trip is simply the one-way rate doubled — reserve both legs together and one driver covers the sailing out and the return to the port. Once the deposit lands, the Gateway price is fixed and does not move.
Daytime pickups between 7 AM and 9 PM carry no surcharge. A ride booked outside that window keeps a driver on call for the early or late run, so a small night fee applies to the Black SUV — $20 within Miami-Dade or Broward, and $50 for a point beyond those counties. The fee is confirmed at booking, never slipped in at the curb.
Nothing changes and no extra charge lands. The driver tracks the vessel’s actual arrival, so a late dock simply shifts the pickup to match. A 30-minute courtesy window is held from the agreed time at the terminal, and re-timing for a slow disembarkation costs nothing.
Each passenger gets one checked bag and one carry-on, with space set aside for cruise luggage, and the driver loads and unloads. For oversized or extra bags, send a note on WhatsApp ahead of the sail date and the vehicle is confirmed or sized up to a larger van before the day of the ride.
Yes. A child seat is fitted for $15 each when the child’s age is noted at booking. Counting every traveler regardless of age keeps the vehicle sized correctly, since a small child still occupies a seat and arrives with equipment — flagging it early avoids any rearrangement at the terminal.
Yes — disembarkation morning is the core of this service, and the private vehicle waits for one group only. Booking 24 hours or more ahead secures the vehicle; a same-day request is still reviewed, though not promised. Because the driver tracks the ship, a slow debarkation line never costs the ride to Gateway.
Reserve the private Port of Miami to Gateway black car and lock the flat rate for the sail date. Send the ship name, terminal, pickup date, group size, bag count, and the Gateway address, plus any child-seat or pet needs, and the vehicle and driver are confirmed in writing. Message on WhatsApp at wa.me/17866828748 or call 786-682-8748. Booking 24 hours or more ahead makes for an easier cruise day.
Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.
No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.
Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.
Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.
The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.
Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.
Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.
Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.
At MIA your driver meets you at the arrivals level at the curb, and that greeting is included in the fare. If you would rather be met inside the terminal with a name sign, add the Meet & Greet for $40 when you book. At the cruise port the curbside greeting is always included.
You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.
The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.
Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.
At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.
The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.
Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.
Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.
Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.
Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.
Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.
A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.
No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.
Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.
Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.
The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.
The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, the Meet & Greet at MIA, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.
We came off the ship tired but happy and a private car straight from the port to Gateway was the right call.
Comfortable ride, no waiting around, and a driver who handled the terminal like a pro. Would book again. The fare was set up front, nothing added at the curb.
