From $575 per vehicle, a private one-way ride from MIA to Merritt Island in a reserved black SUV or van — flat fare, door to door.
The price covers the whole vehicle for your group and holds from booking to arrival, steady through traffic or busy dates. Pick the tier that fits the party:
Your fare includes a curbside meet and greet: the driver keeps an eye on the arriving flight and is already at the terminal exit when you step out with the bags, ready to take the loading off your hands. The evening before travel, a text arrives with the driver’s name, the vehicle description, the plate, and exactly where to head at your terminal. Prefer to be met inside the hall with a name sign as you clear the doors? Add the name-sign pickup for $40 at booking.
Out on Florida’s Space Coast, Merritt Island is a broad barrier island in Brevard County, with the Indian River along one flank and the Banana River along the other. The place reads two ways at once — launch-pad country on one hand, calm waterfront on the other. Canal homes, marinas, boat ramps and old citrus groves fill the residential stretches. Two very different landmarks draw visitors here: the Kennedy Space Center pulls in space travelers, while the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge protects a broad run of marsh and lagoon where manatees, wading herons and the occasional alligator turn up through much of the year. Fishing crews and weekend boaters work the lagoons, and rocket fans plan their trips around launches that can be watched from the causeways. The island keeps an unhurried, waterside pace, whether you are here for a launch, a weekend of fishing, or a permanent move.
The run covers about 198.2 miles — roughly 318.9 kilometers — and takes close to 202 minutes when the roads are open, stretching toward 209 minutes as traffic builds. Nearly all of it happens on open interstate instead of surface roads: the route climbs north on Florida’s Turnpike, then I-95 up the Atlantic side of the state toward Merritt Island, so the timing holds fairly steady day to day. Early mornings and quiet evenings sit near the low end; Miami’s commuter peaks and congestion at the busier interchanges push toward the high end, and weather or a launch-day crowd near the Space Coast can add a little more. Because the fare is fixed, none of that shifts the price — a slow day and a fast one cost the same.
One flat number covers the private vehicle held for your group alone, the driver at the wheel, plus every toll, fuel and SunPass charge picked up along the way — nothing on the road gets tacked on afterward. The driver switches easily between English and either Spanish or Portuguese, and handles the bags at both curbs. Onboard WiFi runs off a mobile hotspot, and sealed bottled water rides along; the one thing left off is eating inside the vehicle. Figure one checked bag and one carry-on per passenger — packing heavier, a quick message ahead moves the party into a larger van. Small pets travel too, riding in a carrier when you note them in advance. For a run this long up the coast, a fixed price and a single point of contact keep the trip to a Merritt Island doorstep simple to plan.
Payment runs by Venmo or Zelle, or through a secure link texted over WhatsApp or sent from the site. A 50% deposit locks the booking and the vehicle; the remaining half is handed to the driver on the day itself. The figure is charged per vehicle for the whole group, never per head, so a fuller van simply means a lower cost each. A round trip runs to double the one-way figure — reserve both directions together and one driver and one confirmed pickup time cover the plan.
The no-surcharge window runs 7 AM to 9 PM. A ride that starts outside it carries a modest night fee tied to the vehicle and the distance. For an SUV, that fee is $20 when the trip stays inside Miami-Dade or Broward, and $50 for a longer haul beyond those counties — a run out to Merritt Island sits in the second group. Vans add 10% over the trip value instead. Each figure is written into the confirmation, so the night charge is known before the day arrives.
Per vehicle, every time. The price shown carries the whole party in one reserved SUV or van, from a single traveler to a full load of fourteen. Nobody pays a separate seat fare, so more people in a van means a lower cost per head. A round trip is the one-way rate doubled, booked as two legs at once.
The driver tracks your inbound flight and shifts the pickup to match, at no extra charge, whether you land early or late. A generous courtesy wait is built in — two hours for an international arrival, one hour for a domestic one — so customs and baggage delays never cost you the car. Past that window, any added waiting is billed in half-hour blocks.
Child seats run $20 each — note how many and the ages at booking, and they are fitted before the vehicle reaches the curb. Small pets are welcome as well, riding in a carrier, as long as you flag them ahead of time so the driver arrives ready. Share the details early and the vehicle turns up set for the group.
Yes — a short planned stop fits into the route. Extra stops run $45 for each 30 minutes of added time, so a quick errand or a bite on a long drive is easy to fold in. Arrange it at booking, or message the driver ahead, and it lands in your written confirmation.
Ready to lock in the ride? Message the pickup date and time, how many passengers, the flight number, and the Merritt Island drop-off address over WhatsApp at wa.me/17866828748 or call 786-682-8748. Reserve a day or more out to keep the slot open. What comes back is a written note fixing the flat fare, followed the evening before by the driver’s name, the vehicle and the plate.
Reserving a few days ahead is ideal, and in peak season (holidays, spring break, big cruise weekends) a week or more keeps your first-choice vehicle available. Requests inside 24 hours are welcome but depend on availability, and those bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
We run on reservations rather than on-demand pickups. A same-day request may still work if a driver is free: message us on WhatsApp with the pickup time and we will confirm quickly. Keep in mind that a ride booked within 24 hours of pickup cannot be refunded.
No. A 50% deposit holds the vehicle when you book online, and the other half goes to your driver on the day of the ride, in cash or by card. If you prefer to settle everything at once, choose Pay in full at checkout.
Yes. After the deposit, the remaining half is paid directly to your driver when the ride is done, cash or card, whichever you prefer. There is nothing else to pay unless you added an extra service.
Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the pickup. Inside that 24-hour window the ride is non-refundable, and no-shows are treated the same way. Booking details such as an extra passenger or a child seat can still be updated until 12 hours before pickup.
The pickup time and other details can be adjusted until 12 hours before the ride, subject to driver availability; write to us as soon as your plans change. The travel date itself is fixed once booked, so double-check it before you confirm.
Payments run through Stripe over an encrypted checkout; we never see your card number. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is shown before you pay. Zelle is also accepted for the deposit with no fee: ask us on WhatsApp.
Not at all. Travelers reserve from all over the world, international cards are accepted at checkout, and we answer on WhatsApp and email in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Yes. Give us the flight number when you book and your driver tracks it in real time, so the pickup follows the actual landing rather than the scheduled one, at no extra cost.
Message us the moment you know. We reschedule around the new arrival whenever a driver is available; because that counts as a change to the booking, the cancellation terms above still apply if the ride cannot be rebooked.
At MIA your driver meets you at the arrivals level at the curb, and that greeting is included in the fare. If you would rather be met inside the terminal with a name sign, add the Meet & Greet for $40 when you book. At the cruise port the curbside greeting is always included.
You receive the meeting instructions in advance, and the driver contacts you the day before the ride to confirm every detail. On landing, head to the agreed curb; connect to the airport Wi-Fi and message us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.
The day before the ride we send the driver’s name and phone number, and the vehicle details you need to spot the car. Vehicle photos on the site show the category booked; the exact model can vary.
Call or WhatsApp us at +1 (786) 682-8748 and we connect you right away. The pickup is always coordinated at the confirmed spot, and the courtesy waiting time keeps running from your landing or your scheduled pickup.
At the airport we wait up to 60 minutes after landing on domestic flights and up to 2 hours on international arrivals; at hotels, homes and the cruise port the courtesy wait is 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed like an extra stop, $45 per 30 minutes.
The distance and the usual driving time for this exact route are listed on this page. Real timing depends on traffic and the hour, which is why the driver plans the pickup around your actual landing or ship arrival rather than a fixed clock time.
Yes. Your driver loads and unloads every bag at the curb. Drivers do not go inside the hotel or terminal to collect luggage, so have it with you at the meeting point.
Each passenger can bring one large suitcase plus one carry-on. The black SUV carries up to 5 passengers as long as passengers plus large suitcases total 10 or fewer; larger groups or extra bags move to a van. Surfboards, bikes or many extra cases need a custom setup, so tell us before booking.
Yes. Add them when you book: a child seat for babies and toddlers up to about 3 years, or a booster for ages 3 to 5. Each seat is $20 and is fitted before the driver leaves for the pickup.
Planned stops are fine when you add them at booking, priced at $45 per 30 minutes with a 30-minute minimum, then $1.50 per extra minute. Unplanned detours on the day are not part of the fare.
Never. Every transfer is private: the vehicle carries only your group, door to door, with no other pickups and no waiting for strangers.
A black SUV for up to 5 passengers, a van for 6 to 9 and a larger van for 10 to 14. The fare table on this page shows the price for each. For groups above 14 we arrange several vehicles or a minibus on a custom quote.
No. We pick up and drop off at Miami International Airport, PortMiami and the other cruise terminals, hotels, private homes, offices and event venues across South Florida and beyond.
Yes. Wedding parties, corporate groups and private events get a tailored quote with the right mix of vehicles; message us with the date, head count and schedule.
Between 9 PM and 7 AM the black SUV adds a night fee of $20 inside Miami-Dade and Broward and $50 farther out. The fee is shown in the quote before you book, and daytime rides carry no surcharge.
The fare shown is for the exact route named on this page. For a different pickup or drop-off address, use the ride search on this site: it prices the real road distance instantly and lets you book on the spot.
The fare includes the driver, fuel and tolls, with no hidden fees. Only optional items add to it: the 3% card fee, the Meet & Greet at MIA, child seats, extra stops or the night fee, each shown in the quote before you pay. Tipping is at your discretion.
My husband and I booked a private transfer from MIA to Merritt Island so we wouldn’t have to figure out a taxi after our flight. We were in town to see family in Merritt Island, and starting the trip this easy was great. The ride to Merritt Island was quick and smooth, straight there.
Clean car, easy pickup, and a driver who knew exactly how to get to Merritt Island. Would book again. The driver found the address with no trouble, which isn’t always easy in a residential area.
Our whole group rode together straight from the airport to Merritt Island, and it worked out great. We were picked up right on time, no delays. No taxi line, no waiting around for an app — we walked out and the car was ready.
I booked a private car from MIA to Merritt Island so I wouldn’t have to wait around after landing. The car was spotless, a nice relief in the Miami heat.
